I was having the same issue as you, PK82, Lego Conductor, and Yoggington. I thought I was being neurotic, so glad to see it wasn’t just me! I reached out to Lego with pictures and received this response: Thanks for sending in those pictures! It looks like there may have been a molding issue with the white plates used in bags 15 and 22. I've sent you out replacement parts for those problem areas on the build. This should hopefully fix the issue. The order number is 3018606863, and you should have the parts in about 10 business days. So it does seem to be a molding issue! I’d recommend reaching out to Lego and sending over photos, too. I’m hoping the new plates will help fix it!

Hopefully this is a good sign for a future Pirates line... however if they're released in 2009 along with the Elves and New Indy sets I'm gonna be broke... especially if they make Temple of Doom sets! -Ryan

I agree that the Brethren Court one needs a hat (I have no idea what to use though...) but she wasn't wearing a hat in the Ten Years Later scene. Thank you! The hair in the first one looks really dark from where I edited the light levels... I need to go back and change it! From the Agent Trace minifig from the new Agents line. Thanks! I would try to cut the hairpiece like I did for Elizabeth (see my other thread), but I only have two and would hate to mess them up. And I should have the Singapore scene up sometime soon! Thank you! I really love the new Orc helmets, but I think that they're just too lovely to use on Orcs. The new goblin armor is dead useful, and I'm glad you saw it like I saw it... a way to bulk up Gothmog and to make it look like fur and armor! And I agree on the head, it looks a little too cunning for Gothmog, but the ears and the color seemed similar enough and a regular minifig head wouldn't cut it. Thanks! And I've seen yours before on Flickr, I love your Gandalf and Boromir! And I was really pleased with Eowyn as well, she's one of my favorite characters in Lord of the Rings. And thanks for the compliment on Gothmog, too! Thanks! I'm not sure about the new Orc face though for Gothmog... it's a little green. Exactly! Thank you! Thanks! And the scene occurs after Beni sits on a lever, which makes Hamunaptra sink into the sand. Then everything above the ground starts to fall over, too. Haha, thanks! Wow, this thing got a ton of replies! Haha, thanks. This MOC gave me the perfect chance to show off my shiny stuff. And I don't mind the Gollum-ness, I've been watching Return of the King (Extended Edition ) quite frequently. Well, she is pretty awful... I only put the Ark and the fertility idol in the MOC to see if anyone would pick up on it, and it looks like everyone did! Thank you! That is always my favorite compliment to hear. And I'll definitely make some more, I just need some ideas... Again, that's always my favorite compliment to get on any of my creations. And I'm sure Indy'll find his way in. Thank you! Thanks! And yes, there was a dragon, but it's described in the book as being silvery and pale and there's not really a Lego dragon that matches up with it. I thought it'd be better to leave it out instead of putting something in the MOC that wouldn't inaccurate. Thank you! (I'm starting to repeat myself...) And Belloq was a closeted Death Eater. Thanks! My newest MOC, Bellatrix Lestrange's vault at the wizard bank Gringotts. Harry, Ron, Hermione, and the goblin Griphook must break in and steal the cup of Helga Hufflepuff (one of Voldemort's horcruxes), but encounter some difficulty when everything in the vault starts to multiply and burn them. Today was my 15th birthday! I got my big present a few weeks ago, though. I got the Troll Warship and Tower Siege sets as my present from my parents. Today, we went to O'Charley's for lunch with my whole family, and then my dad and I went to see Get Smart (I loved it! ). Then my family came over later for presents and stuff, and then my mom took me to Taco Bell and Target. I bought the first three Indiana Jones movies, and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix on DVD, all for $10 apiece. And I bought an America's Next Top Model Barbie that was on clearance as a joke gift for my best friend. I was pretty thrilled. And then tomorrow my two best friends and I are going out to eat and then coming to my house to play Wii for my birthday.

I really like the ones from the 2007/2008 Castle Sets. I have the green "good" dragon from the Troll Warship and the black "bad" one from King's Castle Siege. I was excited when I saw that they were making a Hungarian Horntail dragon for the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire sets, but was wholly disappointed when I got it. What type of dragon has no arms? I really think TLC hit the nail on the head with the new ones, they're very poseable and all three have excellent detailed prints on them. I also like that the good dragon has an armor print on it. The only negatives I can think of are a) They only come in the expensive $50+ sets (duh) and b) for display purposes, they're pretty heavy. I had a little battle set up on my King's Castle Siege set where the black dragon was flying over a tower (supported by this piece), and it was always falling over and knocking other things down. That's my two cents! -Ryan

A lot cooler than the set, the set looks kind of thrown together. I love the use of the dinosaur, you don't see them used that often in MOCs. The use of the new Agents helmet on a troll is pretty cool. All in all, very nice work!

Working on finishing two Pirates of the Caribbean creations: the Empress (Sao Feng and then Elizabeth's ship) which will has custom sails that look great (!); and a new version of the Flying Dutchman with a brickbuilt hull. My new version of the Black Pearl needs some serious dusting, though. Will post pictures of all three of them when I finish the Empress and Dutchman. EDIT: Since I don't have any more reddish-brown bricks, the Empress is on hold for the time being. I am working on a little junk ship though that is comprised of the two ends of the Viking Ship hull. And it has a custom sail!

We got a kitten today! We named her Lucy. I her.

Caught up today and read parts one and two. The story is entertaining, and the MOCs are even nicer! Your landscaping is amazing and your minifigs are very unique. Looking forward to part three! -Ryan
