  1. I really like the use of Bib Fortuna's head as her hair.
  2. I just picked up the newest version of Lukes landspeeder. Finally got a 3po and r2 so I'm pretty happy about that.
  3. I was just surprised that it could handle the weight of a car and still remain in the top position. I have the real legit vehicle jack somewhere as well, but my brother stole it from me and I haven't found it yet. He may have taken the grooved bricks too. If I can't find them ill have to order some I guess. Such a shame, I only need 5 white and one blue.
  4. I ended up using the forklift piece for the lift instead, much simpler and more space efficient. I'll be done as soon as I can find the other pieces for the garage door track. You would happen to have any for sale, would you? Or do you at least know the proper name for the piece so I could find it on ebay?
  5. You inspired me to rebuild my town starting with a car dealership. Pics to come, I'm not done yet. Unfortunately, I'm missing the track pieces for the garage door and I refuse to take pictures of it without them. I'm also trying to figure out how to make a working car lift. Right now I have ramps the car can drive up on and a mechanic can slid underneath to change oil, etc.. I hope you don't mind if I borrow ideas from your lift.
  6. Thank you! I'm not entirely sure what set that hood is from. It was one of my younger brother's pieces.
  7. Well i was going for a sort of "low budged, modded in his garage" look. He would still use this as a daily driver and to run errands to the grocery store or hardware store. To save money he left the stock front wheels on while swapping the rears for the wider slicks. For the same reason, the ride height in the rear has been left unchanged. As you can see here, this Mustang is still using stock wheels up front. But, as always, suggestions are welcome. After looking through some of the MOCs here, mine seem a bit bland to me now. I wish I had found this site years ago, I feel like it would have aided with creativity.
  8. Thanks LT. I love the working suspension! I'd actually never had any when I was younger so a few years back I bought a bunch off ebay. A fire department will come eventually, I've been thinking about getting a town back together. A fire department would have to be pretty large and include a dock and helicopter pad, along with room for the several FD vehicles I have. Maybe this will be my next project so they're not just taking up room on top of my dresser. And thanks for the suggestions, I did feel like something was missing.
  9. Ah, but that's the point LT. It has drag racing slicks in the rear. Wider for more traction off the line. I also prefer the white one though, this one will likely soon become something else. Similar to this Fox-body Mustang inspired MOC I'd done a while back.
  10. I always liked to have a mix. This is an older town I had built for my younger brother and sister.
  11. I'm sick and bored so I decided to go outside and take some fresh pics of the MOCs. I've been thinking about making some changes to this one, perhaps converting it to a civilian 4x4. MY favorite feature on it is the grille and hidden headlights.
  12. Thanks lightningtiger, 4 wide has always been my preference. Also the air cleaner is from a Republic ship. I usually save the grey Imperial ones for older vehicles. Where do you think it needs improvement nic?
  13. I certainly wouldn't mind seeing how you'd do a Fiesta, but I noticed you said cars aren't your string suit. being a Ford guy though I'll definitely be following this.
  14. I will gladly build it for you.
  15. That's great, definitely has an early 911 look to it. Love the binocular exhaust.
  16. That dealership is amazing! Great detail. You just need a Falcon GT on the showroom floor.
  17. Hello everyone, I'm Brian. I stumbled across this forum the other day while googling mini-fig scale vehicles, and I don't know how it never dawned on me to see if there were any Lego forums out there. Like most of you I'm sure, I've loved Legos since my first set and the desire to create things with them has never left. Being a huge Star Wars, they tend to be my favorite models and I'm prety proud of my collection, small as it may be. I've also always loved City sets, the vehicles in particular. I'm big into cars and I work as a detailer at a Dodge dealership, so naturally I've always loved to create Lego cars and trucks. I was hoping someone could tell me what MOC stands for? I'm assuming "my own creation"? And out of curiosity, how many of you hate mega blocks?
