I absolutely love this set! This is the set i want to get the most out of the january line up! KimT! Shame on you! This set is from one of the best episodes from the first season of CW! You should rush out and get yourself a copy of the whole first season right now! Thanks for the great review by the way.

Very nice review KimT! Are you one of the first to get a Star Wars 2010 set outside the US? Not a bad little set! Might even get more than one.

I would say keep a very close eye on Ebay if you want this set. I picked up the set pictured above for £69 ($111) and thats inculding shipping! It was not listed very well as i only found it while searching for space lego!

I saw the index still needed a review of this set and thought as i got another set today of Ebay, i might do a review for you guys. Set Name: Ultimate Space Battle Set Number: 7283 Number of Pieces: 567 Figures: 4 Released: 2005 List Price: £39.99 (GBP) 7283 Ultimate Space Battle was one of the first Star Wars retail sets that was only available for a short time. I was lucky enough to pick my fist one up for retail which in the UK was £40. Funny i suppose that one is still MISB and i paid more for this open set. First the box front and back. Instuctions. Random page. Anakin and Obi-wan With the hair removed you can see the gold head-sets. The poor and very over sized buzz doids. The sepratist forces! The Tri Droid is the same as set no 7252. The droid fighters are also the same as in set no 7256. The Bad guys! Anakins fighter is also the same set as in 7252. The cockpit is quite well detailed. Now the reason we all want this set. Obi's Starfighter! Obi-wan's ship has the same build as Anakins only a few parts ar different colour. Stickers for cockpit controls. A couple of shots of the whole set. If you don't own sets 7265 and 7252 then this is a very good buy but if you have both already then shelling out for just one ship is alot to ask. The set as a stand alone set was probably one of the best value set we have ever had! 3 enemy ships and 2 Jedi fighters for £40 is a absolute bargain! Shame about all the stickers but i guess as Star Wars Lego fans we are used to that by now. 9/10 Dam those stickers!

Thanks CM! Well i think i only spent £430 for the lot, so not to bad! I was pretty lucky to get the first four very cheap a couple of years ago . Still the price of the last one made up for that! I love your display set up for must try and do something like that!

Well it has taken me over 2 years but i have finally bought this maquette! It's a real beauty! Just don't ask what it cost! My set of maquettes is finally complete.

Haha, i only have a total of 63 BP and that's from all 6 BP. I guess that still makes up quite a large chunk of my sets though. I only really seriously started buying multiples of sets around 2006. -

I would love to get all my lego out and built, but i think i would need to hire out a village hall to put everthing on display! With my 425 star wars sets, my big MOC's and armies, i am afraid my present house is not up to the scale needed. Ironically if i spent less money on lego i probably could afford a bigger house!(kidding ) But i think we all know that will never happen. -

My Republic Fleet. Thanks to the Tesco 3 for 2 deal! -
I don't know if this has already been pointed out. Sorry if it has. I was just looking at a zoomed in picture of the tri droid and i noticed that one of the battle droids has yellow markings on his head and chest! This must be the Rocket droid commander. Not really sure how i missed that!

I am not really too bothered about another falcon. I have got the midi one not long ago and i already have the 3 minifig ones! You could say i am Falconed out!
-
That is a different part. With the new space police part, the minifig can stand up inside the cylinder on it's own.

Hey Ras . The Kashyyyk troopers are all BL bought except for the 3 i got from my turbo tanks. As for other armies, god know how many imperial troops i have and brickset says a have over 120 Clone Wars clones so far. -
So very true! This picture was from a lego magazine around 2001 and way before the actual 2006 UCS Vader's TIE actually came out.

Unfortunatly Penguin, most of my sets are in bits or unopened. I could list the vehicles my clones have at there disposal but that is not really in the spirit of this thread! Rest assured though, there is plenty of vehicles to get this lot about! -

Well after a few very good priced Ebay auctions i kind of started buying various EP3 clones again (actually very reasonable on BL). So here is my modest EP3 clone army . -
My book arrived today and it is fantastic! The pictures are great! and so much detail has been put in. You can tell it has been a real labour of love from some fans! Jeremy you should be very proud of what you have helped accomplish!

Looking at these new pictures, i think the minifig AT-AT really is a dead certainty! The Hoth BP includes all the figs you need for a AT-AT without the set itself! The driver and commander and 2 snowies will be the perfect accompaniment to any AT-AT set that will not come with enough figs. We have also got the Echo base set that has just come out and that will be still around when next years summer sets come out!
-
Ok now i was chating to Xwingyoda on MSN the night he had seen the lego rep. He told me both of these sets were minifig sets. Not UCS but here is hoping and in no way midi-scale!!
-
Don't get me wrong pedro the second AT-AT is not a bad set (i do own it ) but it was not in the same league as 4483 original. Oh and walk it does not! It drags itself across the floor like a dying animal
-
It has not yet been confirmed that the AT-AT is going to be true minifig scale yet. As Oky said minifigure scale could mean either. I do hope for a larger set, as the set list we have seen so far does not have to many big sets! As for the motorised one good riddance i say, the proportions were all wrong anyway!
