Well I kept you guys waiting long enough so here finally is the review. From the moment i saw the pictures of this set it looked to me like the best jedi starfighter yet! You no what? I was right! Ahsoka's fighter is just gorgeous with all the markings and sleek design. It is a bit strange that we get this set before we have seen it in action in the carton but i suppose that has been the way with most of the Clone Wars sets. The vulture droid is neally identical to the naboo fighter one apart from the colours of course. The buzz droids are also the same as we have had before. The new Astromech is a real beauty too and no i have not tried to put the old dark red droid head on him yet (I will see if i can dig one out). Right on to the pictures :D . Overall set Vulture droid, ashoka and buzz droids The beautifull R7-A7 The stunning Jedi Fighter Push the black part under the tail fin to fire the flick missles A great set? Hell yes! Ok the vulture droid is not really anything new but that stunning fighter neads something to blow up! This set for me is probably the best looking set of the jan 09 line up, and so it is a must own set for me. Hope it was worth the wait guys.

Here we have a review of the lesser anticipated BP set the Assassin Droid BP. I am going to start of by saying that this set is much better than i thought it was going to be. The speeder is a good design for such a small part count and the Assassin droids look quite menacing . Overall picture of the set. The black droids are listed on the box as elite Assassin droids, with the others just standard. The nice speeder (again with flick missles). Now these pointed dark gray-light gray parts a new to me. The light gray bit is rubber joined somehow to the ABS plastic dark gray bit. The speeder with the droids As the droids can not sit clipped in place like a regular minifig they use the non gun holding arm to hold on so they don't fall out when swooshing. A special mention must be made of the extra parts in this set. As you can see there is quite a few. So what did i think? Well as i said at the start, this set suprised me and for that i will probably buy a few more than i originaly intended. The driods look great and so does the speeder and no stickers is always a nice surprise these days. It's a good set that i would recommend!

Well it depends on just how many ofthes figs there are. The first chrome C-3po's went for around $200 on ebay and bricklink. so for a staring price, it is not to high. I wonder if it is anybody we know .

Quite a old pic now but here is my battle droid army before the droids with the new arms and blasters came out.

Now that is coming on really nicely Ras! The feet a legs are looking great and shape of the main hull looks spot-on too. Have you started on the head? I guess your going for the full 2 drivers and comander. Can't wait to see how this turns out!

Thanks for the comments everybody . @ ditto. Well in all the pictures i have seen the seats are mainly green so that is what i went for. Originally i had blue seats but Ras74 tempted me into going for the green ones .

I can't believe you replied to this old thread seconds after i posted a new one The clones are from BrickLink or battle packs.

I have finally updated my AT-OT now the printed radar dishes are in good supply in light blay. The legs and feet have also had a overhall to the new style of the AT-TE and now look much better. I have not changed anything on the main hull as i was always happy with how that came out. I have toyed with the idea of re-doing the cockpit with the new windscreen from the Agents turbocar helicopter. Upside down it might work but i will see how it looks when i get hold of the part. Well it is finally finished and what a awesome build and what a set :shock: ! This set is the green grocer of the star wars line, the little details are just everywhere! The minifigs are great but believe it or not you really need alot more to fill all the rooms! I think another 10 stormies and a few of the imperial officers would go a long way in helping here :D . I am sure most of the guys who buy this set will have them spare :) . Ok now the negatives. There are quite a few stickers :( but not as many as some other sets i can think of. Also the old problem of black and blay in the instuctions is a bit of a pain. On to the pics :D ! The new minifigs. The new figs are great but the best has to be the new Emperor minifig. Just stunning! Now for the room pics :) (i won't bother with big outside pics as you have all seen them.) The first 2 show the not much seen bottom level. Not alot there but room for lots of figs :) Next we have the great scene with luke and leia Obi and the shield generator (the second pic shows pulling the lever out turns the shield off) :) The garbage masher and Dianoga! One of the death star laser cannons The crane and loading area. The main hanger bay Vaders Tie. The small area top right is the room where c-3p0 and R2 hide out. Also the small black cog opens the hanger blast door! The main gun control room The throne room! The fantasic detention level (with garbage shoot!) "Into the garbage shoot flyboy" The meeting room. The gun turrets The interrogation room. The room where leia meets tarkin. Notice the changing screen from alderaan to yavin. Finally we have some pictures to show just how big this thing is! pictured here with the new AT-AT. Well that it, Is this set worth the big price? Hell yes!! It's huge, its stunning, the figs are great and so dam detailed. I know i got this set at the cheaper UK price but i would have gladly paid the full price. 9 1/2 out of 10 (bloody stickers :D )

After waiting for what seemed like forever a BL order arrived and my EP3 clone army is now complete.

That is it exactly! The cog on the top hull is connected to the wheel underneath. A quick twist like the graphic shows and the bombs all drop.

Thanks for the feedback guys! There is still loads to do on this MOC. The finished MOC will have trenches and a less level landscape. The hanger will be on 4 extra large base plates not the 2 pictured and will have lots of snowspeeders the falcon, a control room, hopfully a bacta tank too. Lots more BL orders to go, before i finish this one.

True, but this has the same kind of part count as the UCS AT-ST and that started at £70 but went down to the much better £60 which was what i paid .

Thanks for the news sam. Well the republic cruiser is $89.99 so we could be looking at a Uk price of £70 . I was hoping it might be cheaper.

I am a little late in this topic but i think this is the most likely of all explanations. If the prophecy was around before Palpatine's murder of his master then surely he would have seen the creation of a force conceived child a real danger to his plans. Now i don't know if he was ever aware of the fact that anakin was concieved by the force as he may have wanted to destroy the child if he had.
