LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Lion King replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Hmmm, DnD Series, huh? I will be interested in certain accessory or minifigure parts. -
Honestly, I think Art set would be lovely for Wicked. I mean Wicked poster… and a diorama set with all Oz characters at yellow brick road toward Emerald City. Of course, they are more for adults while these unknown sets are aiming for young audience. So we will see what future holds. Just my thoughts.

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Lion King replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I mean Im not surprised that GWPs like this one have stickers except for Forest Hideout set. It’s becuase the shields from the hideout set later showed p in Lino Knights’ Castle set in 2022. Blackthorn cruiser don’t have any printed parts that meant for Icons sets, I believe. In fact, I have black torn crusier and I will sell it soon. It’s not becuase of stickers. It’s….too nostalgia to me. It feels too faithful, I could not put my finger on it. The build is just “ehhh” but I love that minifigure. Just wanted to drop my thoughts. Anyways, back to GWP topic…you shold not expect too much that GWP is sticker-free. -
How do we know if it’s minifigure-focused theme, not minidolls?

Ninja Castle Subtheme return potential
Lion King replied to Fulcrumfan91's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I’m not going to lie but i feel that it’s such disheartens when you (MAB, Black Falcon and Kit) express your negative opinion toward Ninja (Castle subtheme). I competely understand that there is Ninjago. Ninjao is not exaclty what I’m looking for. It does have a “classic’ vibe at all. I prefer traditaionl Japanese castle with ninjas, samurai, shogun and citizens. I feel that Ninja subtheme (along with Vikings and other old themes) are oerwhelemd by Big Three (Castle, Pirates and Space). Let’s face Castle, Pirates and Space had several subthemes that ran short. Wolfgang and Dragon Knights subthemes lasted for a few years. Ninja is one of Castle subthemes. It’s really nice to see Vikings receiving revival treatment - 3-in-1 and IDEAS sets. Adventurers heroes showing up in Modular Buidling (Dr. Kirby), IDeas (Pippins) and City’s Jungle subtheme (Johnny Thunder). Sorry but it’s such heartless or disheartening-y of you. It’s just pointless now, so whatever. -

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Lion King replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I was thinking abut space babies lately then I have an odd ithought. What if we will see a baby dressed just like space baby does? like… Knight baby? Ninja baby? Pirate baby with hate+beard piece? Punky baby with tomahawk hair? Racer baby? Gonna be interesting to see them in CMF or random sets. -
You are late to the party - that white space baby will be in GWP - a micro classic space launcher set. I could undertand that there are many sci-fi threads but this white space baby has been discussed in Sci-Fi forum last week.

Jurassic Properties 2024 - Rumors & Discussion

Agreed that big molded creatures blend with small molded ones (lion, elephant, alligator, Thersal, etc) easily, so it will look right to me. In good ol days, I used to have molded Fluffy, Baslisik, and Hungarian Horntail from Harry Potter, a giant frog-worm alien (i forgot what it is called, lol) from Star Wars. In my personal opinion, they looked amazing. There was a cave troll and giant eagles from 2012’s Lord of thee Rings and I wanted to have them but missed out. Today, both buildable Fluffy and Baslisk are….meh I had a brick buildable Hungarian Horntail from 2018 and I don’t like it immediately but I loved its molded head and wings. Ninjago dragons look okay but just bulky and kinda blocky in my honest opinion. Plus, small pieces cold pop off buildable creatures as they age or being used a few times. I could undertand that they have strict budget for Star Wars, Harry Potter, Avatar and Ninjago when it comes to big molded ones and they have to stick to building them out of basic pieces. Sure, buildable creatures can be posable. Sure, molded creatures are not that much. Sure ones are not printed right like Dilo has teeth and claws printed but not Pyro. But buildable creatures have their own flaws too. Since there are no molded dragon (except for baby Riyu from Ningo and baby Nobert from Harry Potter), Quezta does seem to be dragonic so I placed it in medieval era. I’m just trying to say - I simply appreicate molded creatures for good old days’ sake. Buildable creatures never appeal to me. -
Ninja Castle Subtheme return potential
Lion King replied to Fulcrumfan91's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Exactly, one-off set based on tv show, movie or video game would be perfect. Revisiting a classic subtheme would be nice but we have Ninjago sets on shelves. Still, it’s not impossible. I would love to collect traditiaon Japanese characters with highly detailed prints, such as printed samurai’s armors, ninja’s uniform etc. -
Jurassic Properties 2024 - Rumors & Discussion

I would say that dinosaurs from the older theme are considered as build-built because they have many parts than the modern molded ones. However, I agree with Jim - they are not made out of basic pieces. -

I thought “Buffalo” theme is suppsoed to be focused on “for girls” tv shows, like Wednesday. Not Narnia, Avatar the Last Airbender, Stranger Things or live-action. One Piece. Anyways, we are drifting into off topic while it’s a Disney forum here. So…I could not remember when Snow White Cottage will be released, April? May? -

I do think T-rex Rampage and T-Rex Breakout sets are hideous thanks to the buildable T-rexes. But other than that, I’m okay with the iconic gates and muddy trail dioramas. Minifigures are not always accurate so i don’t buy any singles but I only care for dinosaurus myself, period. -

And Strranger Thing is not revolved around girls as Buffalo theme is suppsoed to be girl-oriented, along with Wicked. -
Do we know if the rumored black spaceship is still going to be released this August?

LEGO Ninjago 2024 Rumours and Discussion
Lion King replied to THELEGOBATMAN's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thank you @mantax! Agreed, the way the descrption sounds real to me. But no Arin or Cinder. Ther are a few “unknown” minifigures so maybe Arin or Cinder could be ones of them but who knows. So i will like to hear other reliable folks to back up that rumor. -
As Zelena (from. Once Upon a time) says “Wicked always win,” I’m quite surprised that we will have theme based off Broadway show but I’m quite excited!

Oh I know, right?! I have been waiting for Glinda and Wicked Witch to go with 4 minifiugres from Lego Movie 2 CMF Series Wicked Witch from Lego Dimension doesn’t look right to me, honestly. But…Wicked set will not get us what we are hoping for. -
Action and Adventure Themes Discussion

But Space subtheme in City is not in our time - it’s set in the distant future, in a distant galaxy. So there is no way we know about “modern” jungle subtheme yet. I will keep my hope low tho. I’m just happy that we will see Johnny Thunder minifigure himself.- 233 replies

Ninja Castle Subtheme return potential
Lion King replied to Fulcrumfan91's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I see some “classic” lego sets making their comeback, such as Eldorado, the rumored black spaceship, Medieval Town Square, sI do think that Ninja (Castle subtheme) could have its own Icons standalone set with some improvement from Ninjago and most recent Japanese sets (such as Tranquill Gaden, Himeji Castle).
