  1. I always want to see Norse, Japanese, Roman-Greco, Celtic deities in CMF series.
  2. I ws it’ll wait for more minifigures in colonial-style clothes. Like a town crier, a horseman, a colonial lady (bonnet+hair), etc. We have Rocco Aristoratist in 2023.
  3. So there is no rumor for Fairground set this year?
  4. Maybe….maybe not…. I mean I think zombie animals would be cool for spooky series. But i still think roadkill animals are brutal. - i’m kinda conflicted.
  5. I don’t know…. I mean, sure Shire is about 2,000 pieces but…. What is the best reason why they increased the price for that set? I feel new molds, printed parts and licensing should be added to that Shire set’s price. I looked at Boutique Hotel, Jazz Club, and Tudor Corner and they are only $230 with roughly 3,000 pieces. I feel that half-baseplate Modular building would be like $130 - $150. Again, pricing is not my best lanauge. Sorry dude. I still think half-baseplate modular buildings would be cool with their own styles.
  6. Yes! :) even tho @RichardGoring and @Wolfman_Bricks were talking about roadkill animals, which i consider “brutal and barbaric”,, I might sound hypocritical but…. Jsut print some bones on its rib cages! Also - @hikouki suggested splat piece in different colors (dark red, magenta, pink red, etc). So I guess include those in spookyseires.
  7. Eh, you might make a good point. Pricing is not my best lanauge bu is the Lord of the Rings series more expsnive because of licensing? Nd its printed parts? i don’t thin half-baseplate Modular buidling would hav ea lot of printed parts (except for minifigures)?
  8. Not sure why you would think Modular Buildings with an oen side? Take a look at Book Shop (it was released in 2020) and it comes with two 0.5 baseplates. It has 2,504 pieces. I beleive Bookshop has roughly 1,200 - 1,400 pieces while townhouse has other amount of peices. Same way goes wiht pet Shop. If you looked at Chinese New year restaurant set, it’s not an offial Modular Building set. I find 0.5-baseplate modular buildings mote fun to arrange as much as you want with your own city. A half-baseplate modular building in summer while a large baseplate in winter. Honeslty,
  9. Yes! Comes with zombie aniamls :) I’monly talking about Chinew New Year CMF series here but i guess I agree with you that they should not do 4 sets per a year. I jsut feel that they run low on ideas.
  10. I kee wishing for 0.5-baseplate modular building sets…. So that would be more affordable and fun to get every year while waiting for a full-baseplate modular building in winter. Lego, lease take note! Like… daycare, clinic, ramen/sushi restaurant, apartment, movie video store, seafood restaurant, seance, run-down & haunted townhouse, travel agency’s office, post office, tea shop, ghost hunter’s HQ (hehe), Johnny Thunder’s HQ, etc.
  11. I kinda wish they’re would do another spooky series like they did wiht one in 2015. There are so many spooky minifigures we would want, such as two-headed mutant, zombie hockey player, ghost with candebra, female garagyole, grim reaper, female werewolf, zombie king, remake swamp monster, invisible man, alien costume boy and angel costuem girl Agreed. I am little sick of waiting for minifigure every year… Plus, it looks like Lego is running out of ideas for Chinese New Year sets.
  12. Now that I want one! Yeah in reality, it does. But in Lego world, it own’t happen.
  13. Thankfully, we got a proper bunny mask from Chinese New Year set! The Bunny Costuem Guy has no “face” bunny mask.
  14. Thank you for your best answer! I think it makes more sense that Lego is doing ok with those licensing fees while there are so many licensed sets on shelves. I do understand that Desperable Me and Rise of Guru themes were disappointed and overwhelmed but I don’t know how expsnive that licensing fee was tho. Disney, Marvel, DC, and Star Wars theems are sold well so I think Lego is fine with paying fees.
  15. What if those licensed sets /themes are not sold well ?
  16. Personally , I want to see saber-toothed iger or mammoth costumes! If you want United Nation seires, they have to be fleshie., not yellowie, just to respect people. Like - a yellow man dressing up in colorful Indian clothes for Holiday? Or gingerbread kid?
  17. That’s brutal and barbaric!
  18. My quesiton: is lego able to keep up with licensing fees when there are so many licensed themes? Some of licensing fees might be too expsnive for Lego to pay.
  19. I was just sarcastic. Of course Ninjago is a forever theme. It would e big shock if Ninjago meets its end. I thought Monkie Kid would last for a few more years, like by 2028. Now Monkie Kid and DreamZzz potentially meet thier ends in 2026.i wonder what will happen after thier ends in 2026 - I would love to see more new in-house themes.
  20. BrickHeadz used to be mixed theme but now it’s purely licensed. and I’m pretty sure you know who htis is…. It could be Turtle.
  21. Oh i was just sarcastic. He said ‘no surprise’ to see Monkie Kid meeting its end.
  22. Exaclty, kids in 21st century seem to get into pop cultures like Star Wars, Harry Potter, Fornite, Horizon. Same the way with Pez candy disposers. That’s how pop cultures keep companies alive. I’m in favor for co-existence.
  23. I don’t think botanicals are licensed? Like who has rights to plants? And arent’ BrickHeadz, Ideas and Icons the mixed-up themes? And CMF? Anyways, i feel there is an issue with older AFOLs - it’s nostalgia. I do love in-house themes but i hardly buy any sets from licensed theems. Ionly buy certain dinosaurs from Jurasic World, alien from Star Wars, and fantasty creatuers from Harry Potter. I really dont’ care about other themes like Fortnite, Horizon, Marvel/DC, etc., UNLess they have cool accessories and hairpieces. For example, axe from Dungeon & Dragon CMF series go to classic Castle MOCs. I just think there should be 50:50 ratio, a good balance for both in-house and licensed themes. No thanks to replacing Star Wars with one in-house theme or say bye to Lego….forever.
  24. I think it’s enough with sausages, don’t we?
  25. Ok, go ahead and count the licensed and unlicensed sets this year. I’m not Corning Books, BDP, and other things like Gears.
