The leaks are going slow these days, which is exelent, we will have the same feeling again from when we were kids when entering the toystore and didn't know what to expect.

This is so cool, I am just wondring if the thing would have hold togeather it it went the whole way down.

Logray (ewok shaman from return of the jedi)

Super Sculpey (check my older topic is this section for moer details) -
Good demo, I was a litle scared that it would match up with the SW Lego games, but it looks equally good. Funny animations, great details, good way to work out the storyline, in this chapter anyway. There were some bugs, I couldn't use the second character or change the controls, which was frustrating. I only found 9 out of 10 treasures

It looks like he is getting bald but trying to hide it.

Both sets would suck compared to the real thing, but I think that as a ship it would have better peaces, so my vote goes there.

A poll to decide a star wars set for february 2009
Bobskink replied to darkrebellion's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I voted for Ackbar and his friends, but Palpatine's arrest looks good aswell, I think that one will win evetualy, people like Jedi's. I just hope we don't get another Slave 1 I'm sick of al the Boba Fett hype. Anyway, cool that they do this, fans must really apreciate this (but on the other hand be really frustradetd about what could have been) -
Finaly some time to make new customs. This one is not finished yet, but I'm already very happy with it. The contrast of the tan scuplted parts and the tan of the lego itself isn't that huge as it appears on the picture. I still wonder if I should ad stripes, like the real one. It would look more realistic, no doubt, but it would maybe look les Lego, any opinions? The staf was also very chalenging, I wanted to use existing parts.

Star Wars Customs: Hoth Officers
Bobskink replied to Shadows's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
These look very good. I never noticed there design before with the red dots, very nice work. Got any pictures of them minifigurised for real? -
very simple, the ones we see in the videogames that aren't there yet.

I think that my collection + the other things I collect goes over 10.000 €'s . So I've also really been thinking about insuring the whole thing, it would just suck if it all burned down. I don't really care about the money it's worth, but we had a litle fire in the house a whille ago and if we wouldn't have been at home at the time, I would not have a collection anymore... But, I think most collections are less valuable these days because of the low dollar. Almost all the collecting stuff is counted in dollars (for now).

a Gungan and Jedi battle pack woulb be cool, Gungans are very cool in Lego (not so cool in the film) and the Jedi pack could even contain regular Jedis's to save costs, it would still be a great set. The only thing I really want for 2009 would be any set including Tauntaun's (again). I think the focus will really go to the Clone Wars these next years, I doubt there will be any good new OT and NT sets.

The second snow speeder, great vehicle, great design. I know that as a kid I would want that set. But as a collector there are to many choises. I think it would be Cloud City, since you have al the main characters, some you can't find anywere else.
-
I also think that Illustrator would be far better for torso designs. For the dimensions, just scan a torso and you will have them, be sure that when you print you don't scale.
