Am I the only one who is disapointed. The Magna Guards are ugly, the Videogame ones were much cooler, and the rest of the minifigs, although they look nice seen to be to distant from the other SW minifigs. I doubt I will buy any of them. Exept if the Clone Wars series turn out to be good, which I kinda doubt. I somehow have the feeling that these Lego's come at the cost of other OT and NT sets.

I don't know about that character, but she looks very cool, although I would have prefered to see a regular Shaak Ti

very cute, got a picture with it's mommy?

It's nice how you ordered them... I don't get it, which makes it fun to look at, although I see a missing cape on Lando -

yeah well, you set high standards, so you'll have to be patient. But you can show your updates of them, I'm very curious. -

Maybe use some varnish (hope that's the right english word). But since I only use them for displaying it's not sush a big problem. I hope to do a Skeletor some day, but the problem is that a good custom is very time consuming. But the Heman is for a friend actualy, so if I make a Skeletor, i will have to make a new Heman. BTW, there's a Hellboy coming up, also for a friend. I got about 15 custom heads or headpeaces lying here, still need to paint most of theme -

I use Games Workshop paint. It's acrylick based, which means you can easely mix collors until you have the kind of color you want. It's not water resistant, but it does stay on. It's just really really easy tow work with. You have lots of colors ( http://uk.games-workshop.com/storefront/store.uk ) That's true, all inspired on the one from the video game, but those are very nice and look the most official I gues -

Thanks, but those aren't decals, I painted them. The headpeaces are made from Supersculpey for those who wonder. Thanks for the comments dudes. -

WIP KOTOR, Legacy, Predator Figs

The Predator is so cool, I'm sorry, but I'm gone copy that. Schreder and Rocksteady (or is it Bebop) are also very nice. -
I got the red one with green hair from the first series and the dark blue one with blue hair from the second series. They are good for displaying but bad for playing, since there legs are glued. It's not visible and they still look mint however. Let me know if you are interested.

I decided to make some more customs and to finish some old ones which still need to be finished. Starting with Ackbar over here: Here are some older ones. I didn't post the ones I'm not that proud of. Commander Cody I know his visor shouldn't go up and down, but I did it anyway, much coller that way. Shaak Ti Queen Amidala another Queen Amidala Leia as Boushh ...and here is Heman Coming up Max Rebo and the gang Snake Eyes & Scarlet and a Crimson Guard and some more Starwars characters...

it's very nice, I can just see how much fun you had making it.

Help choose a Lego Star Wars 10th annaversiry set (2009)
Bobskink replied to Legoman's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It should be Tantive 4, it' was the first vehicle you saw 30 years ago. It just makes sence, that vehicle doesn't exist on minifig scale and the price area seems alright. -
haha, you didn't know, it's almost the double here if you convert the currency. We have VAT on or toys. But to give you some answers, when I was joung I couldn't afford most big sets, I saved my small money for a whole year to but sets like the Falcon or Cloud City, cause I know I would regret later. Now that I earn money enough to buy every set, I still don't. Not every set is worth it my friend. I know it sucks, but neather one of us can't complain, we're not born in Africa for example. I for example have all the minifigs from the original trilogy, but not the ones who come with the UCS Falcon, they are just to expensive, at first it bugged me like hell, but now I don't really care that much, it's not that important and maybe they will be for sale in a les expensive set someday. The fact is, you'll never get enough of Lego's. Keep in mind that Lego's are still easy to get, I collect GIJoe's, those are 25 years old, european, american, brazilian ... variants, the list goes on and on, not one of the collectors has all of them, exept from Leonardo Dicaprio, but when he got all of them, he sold them, fun was over.

finnish shopkeepers... you gotta date him or her now if you want to get more clones.
-
I don't like it that much. The best one's I've seen were the Tie Fighter and the Y-wing (which has a cool R2 garbage can unit. But the idea of the contest is great (great for tose who have to much money and time).

looks good, but compared to the reference picture, shouldn't his arms be blue, and, the bleu veritkal marking on his helmet shouldn't be separated from the horizontal one above the eyes. Hard to explain this is when not speaking englisch every day I do.

What will happen when star wars lego is gone forever?
Bobskink replied to General Zen's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I forgot, there are still the upcoming series of clone Wars were they can base new sets on, so I think they will continue. No way Starwars will ever go to Mega Blocks, I think George will not add his brand to something like taht. -
It looks okay, but it could have been better, especially for 120
