excelent once again, but could it be that this one is not really in the right scale? Anyway, it looks very good.
-
It looks very good, it captures the essence and is in a much correcter scale than the ones we have now.
-
Very cool. hihi, he has a weener
-
It looks really good. I'm also looking forward to your shop, sounds interesting. One comment, when taking a picture, don't do it towards the light ;)

the link is stil there

if these new sets are the real deal, it will be the first time in several years that I want to buy a set more than once. Although the Tauntaun looks a little big, a little disapointed there, it doesn't look that lego.

I use paint from games workshop. It works good, they have a big range of colors and you can still mix colors if you want. It's great for making customs that wil be handled, but not played.

susch a retro building. after some thinking I think my first set was this one: I did have some space and basic, but those were from my older half brother, at the time I wasn't alowed to play with them. (picture from bricklink)

This is to hard to remeber, I think I got Duplo first, or doesn't that count?
-
The Venator looks great, but seeing it's size and estimating the probable price range it comes with not enough minifigs. Even if they are new. I can't imagine this set doing well in Europe. (seems I red every post exept the one above, excuse me) Good point on the probable holgram, but I doubt it, that would realy be a bummer.

I think we can go on and on about this, I must admit that I to have a huge collection after 10 years of collection, but after thinking about it I found a differnce which probly most of us share. The collection of the kid wasn't made with collectors patience and love, just spoiled money.

Not to start an argument, I know having two accounts is against the rules, but if you start a new one and end the other one there is no real problem? Or is it impossible to end you account? Now I'm currious.
-
I didn't know there was one with pictures, this is great. Thanks for the link.

You're right, it's just a kid. Bad parents!

Showing off your creations is one thing, you are proud of what you made if you do, but the showing off we are talking about is look at how much money I spend, and probably look at how impatient I am. But like pedro says, lots of collectors show off, but I never saw a show off collection with audio.
-
My thoughts exactly. I don't like it when people brag that much with what they have, but the voice seems to be the one of a kid. I never thought kids could be such collectors, when I was a kid I really didn't care how big my army was, I just wanted lots of diferent sets.

Just start e new account, with the correct name and end the one you have now. Edit by Hinckley: No. Never start another account. Don't give answers if you aren't 100% sure it's the way to handle it. Thank you.

Star Wars Lego Set Want List. HUGE
Bobskink replied to CloneMe's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
that's indeed a long list, a long list of numbers... I think that if you really want these it would be better to put the name of the set next to the numbers. -
7751 Ahsoka's Starfighter & Vulture Droid review
Bobskink replied to mutley777's topic in LEGO Star Wars
This is the only CW set that looks really interesting, cool parts, cool droid. Exept it's a litle pricy. Good revieuw, makes me almost forget it's price... Is it possible to make a pictrure of the droid with the head from the V-wing droid I'm really curroius what it looks like. -
This is the first time I really care that the pictures were deleted, since I missed them and since it seems we are finaly getting Tauntauns. After 10 years, makes you wonder. Can I ask for someone who saved the pictures to mail them to me, or is that against the rules?
-
Some of the prices are again really high. I still haven't bought my first Clone Wars set jet, i wonder if i will do it in 2009. Count Dooku is also rather diasapointing, his hairpiece doesn't look like his hair from the movies or cartoons. Or am I mistaking?

A cheapo's Luminara and Ki-Adi!
Bobskink replied to Darth Legolas's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
they look alright as LBC's -
interesting topic, but I don't really know which year has which sets, is there a link were I can see the sets by year. Anyway, I think 1999 was the coolest Star Wars Lego year, it was just so mindblowing new. I didn't realy mind there was a Stormtrooper cause the rest was already so cool. But before I vote, I will think it over.

Good guide, but one comment. I sell a lot of customs on eBay, it helps me buying other toys I collect, actually, that's the only reason I sell them, collecting Lego is an expensive hobby. And some may find that some customs are overpriced, but when you calculate the time, material, eBay costs and paypal costs you put in it they are not that expensive at all. There are some exelent customisers out there and they deserve every €, $ or £ they get for it.
-
My thoughts exactly, they look great. But watch out with getting it of the head, I've screwed up a lot of customs that way.
