  1. The idea sounds cool, I'm a fan of both, but there would be creative issieus. Lego figures are a certain way of presenting people. The Simpsons stille is also a certain way of presenting people. I don't know if it would turn out right if it somehow happend twice. I saw some Kubrick Simpsons once and they were nice, but not really great.
  2. thats not how you post pictures, you have to get them on line, and than link to them, you can't link to your own computer and expect other people to see them :-$
  3. That's the anoying part, but if you want good comics, you got to put hard work in. You'll see, the more you do it, the better and faster you will get at it (I mean Photoshop).
  4. looks very good once again, one comment, don't overdo the effects. the smoke is nice, but the shriieeek! is bad, the letters are to clear , they stand to much out of the whole picture, don't do them in 3D. You could also maybe blur the background a litle bid, it would espiacialy help in the first picture. O, one more thing, when you stretch the text bubles, you get faded borders at the sides, just make new ones, you lazy padawan ;) But I can't wait to see more, you have a good main character and cool sidekicks, and you put a lot ow work in your backgrounds. Maybe you should try to go a step further and play with the size of the pictures, closeup's etc... a litle like this : http://www.gijoe.nl/albums/details.php?image_id=1764 as a kid I really liked these
  5. the more pictures I see, the more I think that this new stylle is less and less compatible with the Lego's I already have.
  6. I don't think so (but I hope so). We have Btaman now, that is DC, and I think they won't be happy with Marvel Lego's
  7. That's one of the mayor errors why I shouldn't get a vote. The Jedi Luke was the first fleshy one, so a lot op people were probably very happy with it.
  8. I know what you mean, when I first discovered it I was, yeah so, I don't need this. But a few hours later I got addicted, and now I can't do my job without. Some comments on your Strider (I thought I was gonna see an Aragorn) I like it, but maybe you should simplify the whole thing to make it look more Lego. The rest has already been said.
  9. Tough choise. They are both great sets, lots of cool minifigs, The destroyer looks very nice, but the Sail Barge has more playability I think. When does the poll ends?
  10. I like it it looks really nice, but maybe you should ad a few collored (grey) elements, it's to tan. The pilot is cool aswell.
  11. Same as above, I've send you a PM, so this tread can maybe get back on topic, but it's very hard to keep my voice down now. Check my sencond reply for some more funded critisims if you want.
  12. Sorry, but that's just my opinion, just like someone else says Amazing! I think it's just strange when obviously you can aford that much Lego, why not make some descent backgrounds etc and spend your money on that instead of buying every set twice.
  13. Seems he has everything, exept a life. Sorry for the hard words, but this doesn't look like collecting to me, just buying.
  14. it's nice, good main charachter and nice backgrounds.
  15. It looks really great, well done. But in my opinion it has to much accesories, which makes it look les Lego. But still very cool
  16. Still, Henry Jones looks a lot like Sean Connery, which is good. Indy doesn't lresemble Harison Ford that much.
  17. I saw the toyfare lego's also, it's stupid, but on the other hand, Lego collectors can't really complain (yet). Other toy brands have lots of ultra rare collictible figures, endles variations... , the ones from lego are just in a different bag or so. There's only the golden C3po, but it's still possible to get it. Let's just hope they don't do something like that every year, then I will start complaining.
  18. it looks like a giant vibrator
  19. This custom is really good. I looks cool and it looks Lego.
  20. I carved some small holes is the helmet and then modded the visor with a very sharp kniffe so it could swivel up and down. You just need to be patient adn use a very very shark kniffe. If it's no sharp enough it's very dangerous, you're all warned kids!!! I will make a new one, because I sold this one on eBay, I'll post pictures of how I made the visor when I start making a new Cody
  21. the idea is quite clever, but it would be nicer if the whip was reallt straight, like this - and not like this ~ . It will bend much nicer when strangling other minifigs.
  22. puberty was starting to get over
  23. Those are the words I was looking for. Seems that there are a lot more people who don't like them. I think it's sommething that will appeal more for the kids. And since Lego is for the kids (and there fathers who buy it in the hope they can also play with it) ... Question, are these the only sets for the second part of 2008? Only spinoff sets?
  24. Oh my, the high resolution pictures made my disapointment even greater. The Clone helmets are underdetailed (yeah I know) Obi Wan looks like a kid with a beard. Plo Kloon looks nothing like him. I predeict that lots of people who say Waaw now will eventualy get used to them and then when it's time to buy them, get borred with them and will pas. Clone Wars has to be very very good now ;-)
