Hmm, you must be one of the few who hates the movie (Avatar). I wasn't overwhelmed either. The action is great, but not really new, the story was very predictable and the special effects, well, if the rest is not good, the special effects don't mather. But still, I found the movie enjoyable, but I think that that is mostly because James Cameron directed the movie. He's just good at what he does. Same goes for Titanic, it's a chickflick, but somehow, for I guy you can sit trough the whole movie. Anyway, when I studied film, I learned one important thing, which is: You can learn a lot by whatching bad movies.

Those are really good pictures. Somehow they capture the same feeling as the movie. Especially the first picture.

Does Space Police III promote racism and xenophobia?
Bobskink replied to Sonic Screwdriver's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I finaly found the topic, started exactly a year ago Offensive stereotypes I thought I was the only one back then, I'm happy that other people think the same way. Like Mister Blisterfists tells, some alien cops would fix the whole deal. -
Does Space Police III promote racism and xenophobia?
Bobskink replied to Sonic Screwdriver's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I started a similar topic about this about a year ago. Yes , they promote racism, but I think not on purpose. -
Haha, very funny. If I remeber corectly The Phantom was directed by Joel Schumacher the same guy who did Batman and Robin and Batman Forever...

LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars
Bobskink replied to BrickBob Studpants's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Yup, that's tru. But, like e for insrtance, I also made a topic, and I wasn't russhing, my timezone isn't good for that, still I didn't find the topic somehow. Anyway, I think that a game section might be a good opportunity, to see how popular the (board) games are and to be the place were you have to be when talking about Lego games. It would also be good for some members if the games could have separate topic instead of one of 100+ pages, like cheats, walktroughs, uploaded level (presuming you can do that with Indiana Jones 2)... @ def, Yoda looks indeed very like a regular man, not like Yoda. Very strange, lets hope it's not like that in the game. It would be very weird, especialy since the whole series are in 3D computer animation. -
1- Asian films can be very weird. 2- Try Ichi The Killer ;)

haha, funny remark. However, Avril Lavigne is very commercial and cleary popmusic for the girls. And when you get older you really start hating that kind of music more and more. Still, somehow it's the only music like that that doesn't bother me.

LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars
Bobskink replied to BrickBob Studpants's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I know it's offtopic, but clearly, this section off the board doesn't get found easely. I thought Culture & Multimedia, covered non Lego mather. Maybe a section about Lego games would be good, videogames and boardgames, since there are a lot of them. -
Very nice. Any plans to make others? I would love to see an old Lotus.

haha, funny remark, you know to how mush trouble they went just to find an actor who speaks, German, French, English and Intalian. The best joke in the whole movie was bassed on a certain character not being able to speak a certain language. Anyway, Inglourious Bastards was a good movie, but not a mastertpeace. I think Pulp Fiction will stay at the nr 1 spot for tarantino. Movies I regretfully can't unsee: Dungeons and Dragons. GIJoe Rise of cobra and Transformers 1 & 2 were also very bad. Most underrated movie: Last Action Hero, every critic slamed it to the ground and failed to see the subtile layers in it, it's like watching a Simpson episode.

Cool you liked A New Hope. The sequals are actually better I think, so you won't be dissapointed . The dissapointment will come when you watch the prequels

LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars
Bobskink replied to BrickBob Studpants's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Actually I think that the Batman game was one of the best. The different suits may be a litle strange, but the story and level design was great. Star wars 2 was actually the game which disapointed me the most, althought I am mostly an Original trilogy fan. The level were just not so original and I'm affraid the same could happen with the Clone Wars. But lets hope I'm just wrong. -
LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars
Bobskink replied to BrickBob Studpants's topic in Culture & Multimedia
haha, I went looking in the wrong places. Excuse me. So, on topic. I think this game might come a little to soon and try to make a second one for season 3 and 4 (unles the Clone wars ends after season 2) I really liked SW 1 and 2, Batman and Indiana Jones lego, but the titles are coming out to soon and when they aren't realy that inovating, the pause between the games should be bigger. -

I couldn't find a topic about it, so here goes... http://www.lucasarts.com/games/legostarwarsiii/ -
I find it strange that Bossk his head will be sand green. In the movie is't clearly more tan colored.

Thanks for the comments. I was amazed myself how well the alien turned out, since I made it real quick, but I wanted to keep the focus on the Predator, since that is my favorite character. Here's a pic of the alien body construction. I'm makng several more at this time, you always need more badies, to make the goodies look better. @ LuxorV, I did a Predator, resembling the one from AVP 2 (no pic, sorry) but will eventually do a new one. Now I would like to improve my Predator 2 first and make a Dutsh Shaefer (Arnie in Predator 1)
