It's been a long while since I made a custom minifig, but when watching Predator last week (again). I decided that the Predator needed a descent minfig version and an update from the lame one I did some time ago. What was I thinking... So I made a new one... Made a new and hopefully better head Anyway, I'm mush happier with the result this time. It's been a while that I made a custom I really want to keep myself, and not give away or sell. Here are some more pictures: And a reference picture. But, as can be seen in Predator 2 and the AVP Movies, at the end, a Predator never seems to be alone... But his companions still need some finishing up. From left to right Scar Predator from AVP. Predtor 2, Predator 1, Elder Predator from Predator 2 & a first tryout And eventualy, the Predator also needs to fight some aliens from time to time... And a box.

Has anybody done the presidents as MiniFigures?
Bobskink replied to B-Lister's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Haha, that George Dubja Bush is so funny and realistic at the same time. I saw that Obama before, it was a very good idea at the time (still is, but it's over a year now). Strange that there arent' more US presidents minifigurized, some of them seem lvery easy to make, like Lincoln and Washington. -
They look really cool, they also make me wonder why Lego never made those big mexican hats, they would go great with the western theme.

I would buy this, great set idea.

Nice revieuw. It seems like your green Ninja's have a printing error: VS click to bricklink Seems the gold is missing -
just checking I don't have one, but I don't really want one, is that possible, I'm probably to negative about SW Lego these days I just like to be a customizer.

I'm happy Bionicle is not over.

This looks great. Cool for the adult collector, but cool for kids aswell. I like how you stayed tru to the design of the playsets and the real thing, it's a good mix, which you rarely see. It just want me to start buying Harry Potter lego, great job.

I think the same thing, seems like easy money. They will probably wait untill there are a litle more CW episodes and characters, to have more divercity.

Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display
Bobskink replied to BillytheKid's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I wouldn't be able to do that -
I don't like these overly exclusive sets, I'm just happy that only the packaging is exclusive, not what's inside. But the set does look cool.

I agrea that the CW sets and figures don't always blend in that well with the other SW sets, but that is something I can understand, they are two different styles and I don't see any other solution for that problem, I think Lego did a descent job on that part. So far, my disapointments are the continuing changes in the "rules" of there minifig design. Yellow - flesh - white puipils. The redisigns of a figure itself I can live with and understand, exept for the Hoth Rebel Trooper; it's the 5th version we have now and it's still not good. I also never liked the new guns, but tht is something which is easly changed.

Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display
Bobskink replied to BillytheKid's topic in LEGO Star Wars
A part of my army, I know it's quite big, but I was lucky to start collecting from the beginning, so I never had to pay insane prices. First I wanted to have 10 figures of each trooper, now I patiently build up to 20 for the main Empire troopers. I always feel that the bad guys should be with more troopers thatn the good guys. So far I have every OT figure (exept for the 2010 stuff). BTW, this is nog the way I display it ussualy, we just moved, I still haven't found a descent way to display my Lego, I just swich them from timeto time and put them in different places, my girlfriend just loves it -
It's just so mysterious, the way Lego ends and starts new lines. There's a new Indiana Jones game, but no new sets. I doubt there will ever be new Batman sets and Harry Potter, but with these guys you just can't ever predict, only speculate and hope.

I agrea, but, but it wasn't as bad as everybody wants you to belive, people tend to follow what the critic says. I'm looking forward to some more Indy action, doesn't mather how exagerated the action and plot is. Just the opisite, they can make the sets now and in 5 years make new versions of them and sell those again, just like the Star Wars sets. Lego payed for the rights, if they still have them, they will probably use them.

I remember getting this set as a kid and it kicked megablocks. The drawbridge was very inginious at the time, and it was also the first time I saw the castle walls. I remember having diffuculties ussing them the correct way at the time. But I must agrea, now the castle looks a litle borring, still, the amount of knights makes it a cool set. edit haha, you can't say megablocks over here.

rockinkurt13, I don't know if what you say is tru or not, and I don't care that mush, since the new sets from the first half of the year are great so far, I for one don't wonder what is comming out 6 months later. But what I do like to know, is why the pregnant Padme is a problem? I'm currious behind the reason of it. Can you give more information?

army23, your signature is quite cool, but it's euh, very big, for a minute I thought a new discussion about that figures started taking place.

Thanks, To bad it's that far away, I doubt my girlfriend will like waisting two hours on Lego (and them me only looking, not buying ) I just checked on Google Maps, Bluewaterisn't really London anymore.

Thanks, but I was hoping thatthere would be a store were I can find things that can't be found in regular toystores in Belgium. It's so strange that London doesn't have a Lego store. I hope to maybe find some cool things at Forbidden Planet. Are you from London Crazy one?

Hello, Next weekend I'll be going to London, I was very dissapointed to find out that Legoland Windsor is closed at the time, so I hope thet there are some cool Lego and other Toys shops worth paying a visit. If anybody knows a good address, please let me know. Thanks,

I never really liked these maquettes. The idea behind it is great, but the quality of the mold doesn't look that good. The proportions are wrong (for example the arms are to long) and the plaque looks like somekind of knockoff. I think these could have been mush better if Lego produced them thereself, like one of these big store display minifigs. But from the whole gang, the Boba Fett maquette looks the best.

Anakins looks like a Simpson with his mouth covered. This sets looks very cheap...
