The Gaurdian is really great, he got my vote, the rest is great aswell, but I don't like the manga eyes on the Sorceres, they don't blend in with the rest of the group. Somehow they do suit the Guardian. Anyway, a very good first attempt, they all look genuine, you didn't overdue the non Lego parts.

But with only 150 of them you could see this comming from a mile away. If i could get that mush money for it, I would probably sell it myself, even if I like the figure that mush and am a Star Wars Lego collector myself.

Great pic, when looking at it I imediatly heard the Sand people there cry in my head.

pff, I sold a lot of custom minifigs to be able to afford a Golden C3PO a few years back, but this is not worth it. I hate ultra rare thing that I want It's so rare and expensive you have to be a fool to open it, yet you want to open the plastic and display it nicely.
-
It's a shame there aren't any studs on it.
-
Actualy not, I uploaded the pictures somwere else since my computer was broken at the time and I sold the figure so I can't take new pictures. I'm really sad about this, because I was very pleased with the custom myself. There is a chanse the pictures are still on the bacup PC I used at the time, but I don't have easy acces to it. I hope somebody maybe saved the pictures (I know I save a lot of Lego pics) and can maybe help me out. Meanwhille I keep the thumbnail as a souvenir

That's the same thing that bugs be, not even Lego gets ritch on this. To bad that there are only 150 of it made and the fact that it's Boba fett, will probably make it overly expesive.

Yes it does, but she looks better with the mask. That sounds even weirder It's just her hair you see, nothing really special. Yeah, my first attempt I was lazy and just painted the eyes whit, bit it's wasn't accurate to the videogame and didn't look that good, so...

They really look great and realistic, but I don't like the female forms in the torso's. It's an interesting idea, but I prefer the original torso's.

This minifig has been lying around here for some time, finaly took some time to take pictures. I'm so disapinted they never made her for real, it's sush a sexy character. When I unlocked her in the videogame I almost never played with Batman again (that probably sounded weird).

Cool, but his hands are still green, thats weird. I don't know which color I prefer, the sand green looks good, although it's not correct, tan looks good aswell, maybe dark tan should suit the figure better like mr Ras 74 sugests.

Good point, but I tried to look realistic at this and I still stand by what I say, for instance, I didn't use a vintage Luke bespin as an example. Most fans now are over the flesh minifigs and admit that they look better now, so they aren't that stuck in the past I think. I don't know if it's correct, but don't most people think that the regular Stormtrooper looks better than the Stormtrooper with printed legs, which is more realistic. I for once prefer the one without printed legs. about Zev Senesca (had to google it) he looks terrible and illustrates my point. He's nicely detailed, but the printing is awfull, the white of his vest is pink because it's to transparent. Like I said, when you ad that mush detail the errors get more visable, same case with the Hoth Rebels there helmet.

The more Lego will try te be realistic, the more you will notice it's impossible with a minifig, and the more cheap the minifigs will look. Thats how Mega blocks look anyway. It seems like people forget these are toys. The cool thing about toys is that they are not correct, but try to be in a certain way, but also try to be playable. The Hasbro figures are so damn accurate and realistic these days that they have lost all there charm, they are just dull ministatues and I don't want that to happen to Lego, the next step is extra joints in the arms and legs. Alos, the more you try to be realistic, the more the flaws get highlighted. Honnestly, which one do you prefer, the toy version or the desperatly realsitic version?

Yes it is

Nice list. Maybe it's better to design the main characters first. If you want to get people involved en give the whole idea something "official", than maybe you should brainstorm, allong with the rest to make purist versions of some characters. Post pictures, compare etc... and finaly choose which oes is the definite Bildo... Pictures will always work better than text... I'm trying to make a purist fellowship myself, but it's going very slow, I don't want to spend to mush money on it.

I was looking to the TV guide (for Belgium), this week will be on TV: Batman & Robin, Battlefield Earth and Striptease. I can't belive we left Striptease out so far, what a bad movie. I once red a revieuw about it: A film every filmaker and Stripper should watch, and see how your not suposed to do it.

I think these superhero themes goe well with the body construction of the curent Mega Block minifigures. I'm a big Spiderman fan and I must say that the Mega Block Spiderman is way better than the Lego version. But in general I still prefer a Lego minifig, and this Spiderman set was and will be the only Mega Block set I buy. If you're a fan of Iron Man and you want something blocky, buy the Minimate version.

1 - Strom Tropper with Black pauldron 2 - Bespin Han (looks good on the drawing) 3 - Aayla Secura Biggest dissapointment - Hoth Rebbel
-
Really, i didn't notice the red text, bummer, it's to soon for another AT AT, thinking about the size of an AT AT, I doubt there will be something extra (scenery) in it which would give a reason for Han to be in it.
-
The minifig combination of 8129 doesn't really look like that of an AT AT. It actualy doesn't make any sence. It looks like half the part of an escape from Hoth. Maybe it's a modular sets and the other part will have Leia, Chewy, R2 D2, Drathvader and some more... I love modular sets and I like daydreaming. Still, the minifig combination doesn't make any sence.
-
I thought the same thing. Looks great.
-
good one for a freshman. But more importantly, cool magnets, glad i didn't spen money on those sets.
-
But then the difference between Lego and for example Kubrick gets thinner and thinner. The problem with it is that the detail with the minifigs contrasts to mush with the sets. I'm really getting scared that one day they will change Vaders helmet. But to say something good for once, Aayla Secura turned out really great, just the way the figure should be. I hope that one day she will get a non clonewars cartoonstyle face print. R7-F5 is cool aswell, the more astromech droids the better.
-
I thought the same thing, he's a litle Mega Blockish (just like Han in carbonite). I hope Grievous can be put in better position. edit seems were not alone, I'm tempted to to just skip the whole clone wars stuff and keep my focus the OT.
-
All these new molds. They look good, but somehow I still preffer that Lego uses existing pieces. A new, Boba Fett, Grievous, Han in Carbonite, no clever solution for the Medical Droid. The other new molds I can understand. But, especially not for Boba Fett, don't get me wrong, the helmet looks great, but it feels less Lego than the other helmet. The printing on the torso is even worse, it completely neglects the shape of a Lego torso. But I presume it's somekind of marketing strategie, especially for the collectors. BTW, not any descent picture of Grievous? His arms look weird.
