[Merrymas] Organising a BotBS Advent Calendar
NOD replied to Darnok's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Good idea, that's funny and I like it. If I have an idea what I can build, I will report back. -
I like your presentation of the characters and the story. Good photos with the colored houses and the minifigures.
-
Thanks for the compliments and tips. In the meantime, I've built an interior view with a swivel gun. Thank you Replacing the green pieces with grey ones is also a good idea. Thank you Next time I'll try to build another roof. Thank you I thought blue was a nice change.

Great! Nice construction of the tower. The colored ornament add variety and make it more interesting. The whole scenario looks impressive. I liked the story too. I have never seen the stones on the floor inside the tower. Luckily you have a high resolution photo on Flickr and I could see how it was done.

[BTV1-TER] Steal from the bluecoats, give to the oppressed
NOD replied to Fraunces's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
That was worth it! A warehouse store full of food and drinks. Good and funny story. The structure of the warehouse looks interesting from outside and inside. The walls, roof, and chains fit well. The minifigures are positioned funny, especially the dutiful guards. -
Excellent! The Mesabi Clan! It was interesting and fun to learn about the different characters. You wrote very exciting. You could write a whole series of books about that. Hollywood could turn it into a film series. I would watch the series.
-
Interesting story. You seem to be very familiar with grapes and the making of wine. You either watched or even operated a wine press yourself. The warehouse with the red brickwork matches the wine press.
-
Nice scenario. Good idea how you built the roof on the tower. I also like the landscape with the round stones. Good story, veterans are soldiers with a lot of experience.

Plantation: Large DSC08282 by Philippe, auf Flickr The small oasis is surrounded by a tobacco plantation. DSC08289 by Philippe, auf Flickr This is where the noble and expensive tobacco is grown and harvested. The cigars that are made are packed in a noble wooden box.

The photos with the killer whale are great. Well built ship. I like the color combinations blue, black, white and yellow. You used the same colors as the Sea Rats flag. The sails with the Sea Rat symbol make your ship unique.
-
Good story and a lovely female Sea Rat captain. I am already looking forward to reading about their adventures. I like the scenario. Nice post office with a tower and a landing stage.

The Second Terraversan War - Submissions Thread
NOD replied to Ayrlego's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
defence build Kings Port: Operation Hedgehog -
Location: Kings Port, Terraversa So that Kings Port might have a chance and the course of the war is less one-sided, I choose the following defence strategy: Operation Hedgehog DSC08622 by Philippe, auf Flickr The highly visible trap is a distraction. You can't see the real trap. There is a wasp's nest on the palm. - recruited Capital City: 270 men per MRCA - If the Oleander ships are also involved in combat, then they will be attacked with Greek fire, Byzantine Ceramic Greek Fire Grenade and fire ships. - The enemy artillery is attacked and destroyed by guerrillas mercenaries from behind during the nights. - Guerrillas mercenaries attack and destroy supplies from behind during the nights. - All residents of all ages in Kings Port help with the construction. - All men and women over the age of 18 in Kings Port are called up to the resistance. The recruits are trained by mercenaries. - The city is defended by soldiers, mercenaries and the resistance. - The windows and doors of the houses are barricaded. - Tunnels are dug under the houses to quickly get from one house to the other. Barrels with gunpowder are deposited in the tunnels so that they can be blown up. - They produce bottle bombs and sling. The bottles are filled with gunpowder and iron splinters. - They produce Byzantine Ceramic Greek Fire Grenade. - Pitfalls are dug and sharp bamboo branches are stuck in the ground. - The snipers are positioned behind barricaded windows and other cover. Each sniper has several loaded muskets. In addition, he has helpers who load muskets, observe, throwing bottle bombs, throwing ceramic grenades and protect him from attack with pistols. - Bees and wasps' nests are blazoned in the trees. They are startled by a musket shot and attack the oleander soldiers when they are nearby. DSC08608 by Philippe, auf Flickr Snipers in position. DSC08651 by Philippe, auf Flickr The hatch on the floor leads into the tunnels. The Terraversa Song increases motivation and strengthens the will to fight against the invaders: ♪♪ Stand up, damned of the Earth ♪♪ ♪♪ Stand up, prisoners of starvation ♪♪ ♪♪ Reason thunders in its volcano ♪♪ ♪♪ This is the eruption of the end. ♪♪ ♪♪ Of the past let us make a clean slate ♪♪ ♪♪ Enslaved Terraversa, stand up, stand up. ♪♪ ♪♪ The world is about to change its foundation ♪♪ ♪♪ We are nothing, let us be all. ♪♪ DSC08599 by Philippe, auf Flickr The attackers are pelted with bottle bombs. As a defence strategy I wrote down everything that occurred to me.If something doesn't follow the rules, just leave it out. I estimate Oleon has at least a Division 810 soldiers in the area at Kings Port. Only Oleon knows the exact number. As a defender for NPC, I'm at a disadvantage because I don't have any information about the number of soldiers I own. That should be improved with the land combat rules when someone builds something for NPC. I hope that I have at least 1 regiment of 270 men available in Capital City.

NOD replied to Bregir's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I like the tartan vessel. Nice construction and the crew fit the ship. -
Interesting story. I hope Kings Port gets a lot of resistance. I like how the individual scenes were photographed. It gives the impression that it is a large building or several buildings. Good deception.

[BTV1-TER] Donations for the War Effort
NOD replied to Mesabi's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Thanks, I told my friend. The deadline November 1st fits. He'll do a defence build and a description of strategy for Kings Port. -
Well built scenario. The happening appear real because of the photos from different angles. I can see the fear on the faces of the fleeing people. The pieces of luggage lying around underline the drama. The lighting of the photos fits because it looks gloomy and it fits the happening.
-
I had overlooked this topic so far because it is from April 18th. I only noticed now that it's a sequel story. But now I was able to read a whole book with Google Translator. You are a gifted writer. Exciting and interesting story, plus lots of nice photos. I only took a closer look at the photos after reading them because I didn't want to be distracted. Really very nice builds that fit the story.
