NoEXIST replied to NoEXIST's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I will try to assemble another chassis with PF system, so it shouldn't be a problem -

I also had an idea using these parts in the grille, but I do not have enough of them... (Shipping of my last order of parts took more than a month. I'm not sure they would have arrived during the competition) In my real assembled model, I will be forced to make the grille in dbg or leave it as you see in the render Unfortunately you are right these front side panels will be too big -

Some progress today I tried to make a cab with a minimum of system parts. For me it was a challenge since my creations use it a lot. -

Thank you! Photos replaced :) I thought about doing it mechanical truck, but the motorized version seemed to me simpler. This creation will have a mechanical function - body unloading. This decision was made due to the lack of another motor -
Hello! I decided to build a model for the transport of building materials for this competition. In the discussion topic was this sentence "model that you can see at the construction site", I regularly see similar models there :) I will wait for confirmation that the model is eligible for the competition. The currently plan is: - propulsion - 1XL motor (Control+) - steering - 1L motor (Control+) - powered by Technic Hub - body unloading - suspension Dimensions: Its 36.5x15x18 studs, Dimensions is 9855 cubic studs. There you can see the progress:

Today I have some ways of tilting axles, I need to modify one of them and install in the chassis About instruction: I decided that publishing a 3d model would be enough for the old version of the chassis. So file will be published within a few days on Rebrickable, I will also inform about it here. -
This is a modification of the Lego 42123 set. The model was built with the aim of introducing motors without damaging the appearance.Features: - 2L motors for drive (gear ratito 28:12)- Servo for steering- Powered by Buwizz INSTRUCTIONS:Instruction made in Bricklink Stud.io - https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-85862/NoExist/mclaren-senna-motorization-buwizz/#details PHOTOS:

I'm sorry for the lengthy reply. At the moment there is no progress, I am thinking about how to make a steering system with a tilting suspension -

I don't need to get less grip on the rear axle, I need to have grip for good acceleration and steering precision. For example, if there were plastic wheels on rear axle, they wouldn't be able to spin the chassis due to lack of grip. And most importantly, because of what you need to have all the weight in the back, this is the hammer effect - the heavy part of the chassis will rotate around the front I think there will be instructions, but a little later (for the current version with 2L and without tilting suspension) -

At the moment, the best option was with a buwizz installed behind the rear axle. In the video demonstrating the steering system, the earlier version of the chassis, where I thought about the interior, in the end I think it will not -

In fact, during drift, the wheels change their position not only to the extreme, but also to slightly turned. Just as easily they can be returned to the center position.
