Sorry I didn't see this post sooner @base_1 if anyone needs part 6059 I have one available. No price gouging just a fellow AFOL willing to help someone out. I live in the US so cost of shipping might be a bit of a problem for those overseas. I want to be sure it gets to someone who is already building!

Pretty much everything from Ali Express is not Official LEGO. The quality of the parts are subpar. However purchasing the actual instructions is the right thing to do as many of the stores on Ali just offer a bootlegged version of the instructions. While LEGO is expensive sometimes you do get what you pay for. I will say this as well, as a creator, mentioning you purchased the instructions is much appreciated however, giving the site any publicity or telling where to puchase is frowned upon in my very humble opinion. You may not be aware but almost all those companies share a bootlegged version and the designer sees nothing.

Thanks for the information guys. PapaGlops windscreens were also a bit pricey but I was fortunate enough to get 2 of them before they went way up in price. As I finish my own project, I'm looking for another build.

I built Papaglops Razorcrest and while I really do love it, I really love angles and symmetry on the wings of Jeracs model compared to Papaglops. When Papa released his, I'm not sure how much source material was available in the first season compared to some of what we saw in the 2nd season of the Mandalorian - regardless both creations are really impressive and I'm seriously considering building Jeracs as I see more photos of it. Based on the part count can anyone give an average dollar per piece?

I started this MOC in December of 2019 and started to really make progress on it in early 2020 when the pandemic started. It's been built by myself, one of my co-workers and my amazing wife. Every time it was built I took notes about problem areas / stability and improved upon it each time. I wanted to make sure that everyone could get through the build without any confusion. While testing was incredibly cumbersome, I'm really happy with how it turned out. I'm pretty fortunate to live close to a used LEGO store where I was able to source my parts for testing while also building digitally.

Haha! Thank you for the compliment Maverick. It has been incredibly challenging and also very rewarding seeing it come together. I started the build over three times before I was happy with the scale.

SB00301 B-PROJECT (MOC Resistance Bomber UCS)

I just purchased set 75188 as two of the ones I was watching on ebay / bricklink were snatched up. I have a feeling in the next couple weeks / months / the price of that set is going to skyrocket as a result of people purchasing it for the @StarBricks SB00301. As excited as I am for this build, I am also anxiously awaiting his newest build. It looks amazing! I've been a huge fan ever since I discovered this subculture of AFOLs. -

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I am making really great progress on the instructions. I'm also in the process of setting up BrickWars.net. It's been a lot of fun working on them.

Thank you Sir! It's been a lot of fun. I've been sourcing pieces all while doing the build. I'm currently sitting around 70% of the pieces. My plan is to finish the instructions. Build it. Make any modifications and then have a few test builds with some friends who are very interested in the build.

Update: The RTT-Initiative has undergone a few edits to streamline parts. I started working on instructions earlier this week and noticed some things were not quite right. I started creating the logical progression of the build and It just made sense to make some changes to eliminated confusion.I have about 70% of the parts sourced locally and the rest from my own inventory. By the time insource all the parts, the Alpha version of the instructions should be ready. It's all coming together nicely.

Thank you. I thought it would be a great way to capture the spirit of the Resistance because they are constantly utilizing other ships and reverse engineering technology to stay in the fight.

Thank you Veynom! I tried a few different color combos using dark red, but ultimately I really liked how the blue looked.

SB00301 B-PROJECT (MOC Resistance Bomber UCS)

I agree with Mirko. I love putting custom MOCS together. I haven't found one person that goes through the effort that he does when it comes to producing something beyond PDF instructions. What I find disappointing are people's reactions to something they have little to no idea the time it takes to create. I recently started putting a MOC together myself and after starting over 4 or 5 times 3/4 of the way into the build I can tell you first hand it takes a lot of time. The more pieces the more complex it becomes. And for every piece that's a part of the instructions that need to be created. Mirko is a great designer and finding pieces that are accessible is also something he does. There is a great deal of quality assurance that goes into creating a MOC especially after the initial build. There's test building, stability checks, and then their are revisions to the instructions themselves. Many of you just want it released without the LyGod kit just so you can get it now. The problem with that thinking is some people do want the lighting kit. It's also completely up to Mirko. Maybe it's his vision to incorporate it and therefore he's going to incorporate instructions for it giving everyone the option of how to proceed. These are print instructions and cannot just be changed on the fly. Putting these in PDF opens the door for piracy. Getting a part list ahead of time opens the door for inaccuracies as the parts list could change if it's not finalized. Getting the parts list ahead of time also allows for piracy. Knowing what I know about the build process and creating instructions myself; quality work can't be rushed. Mirko certainly doesn't need me to defend him. Those of you that know Mirko know his work speaks for itself. I'd ask you all who are frustrated to be patient. This is very much something he loves to do and doesn't have to share with us. -

Agreed. I had to wait quite a while for the LyGod kit but I was finally able to get it. The B project is a monster. But according to his Facebook page, he's actually been working on an additional project, something Imperial.
