  1. Did you forget you have to be 18 to be a member here?
  2. Anybody would be scared seeing that coming their way! I love the teeth on the cart, the crosses are a cool touch and then there's still loads of detail to look at in such a small diorama. Well done! Nightmare before Christmas on! :skull:
  3. It is definitely in my agenda with a big question mark now, I'd really love to come.
  4. Good to hear we inspired you! Welcome to Eurobricks!
  5. 28 in 4 weeks.
  6. That's the funniest thing I've seen all day, well done!
  7. I almost bursted out in laughter when you were going to say that the 1x1 round plate was your favourite part, but you went for the angular brick, good choice! This was a brilliant listen again, and I really wish we had garage sales here.... The sound quality was brilliant, and i love the Ozzie accents!
  8. Again thanks for all the wonderful comments! Don't be so hard on yourself man, my first ships didn't look like this either. Just keep on building, it is the only way to learn! Yeah i know what you mean, i like to build other things sometimes as well. Building other things also gives a new challenges and you might learn stuff you can later on use in other projects as well.
  9. Looks great Maydayartist! I think this is a major improvement over your last one. I really like the stern and the fact that you used those log bricks for the whole side. The rigging just gives it that bit extra, well done!
  10. Looks great Commodore! I would still try to lengthen the bow a bit, to make the ship look longer. You can easily win 4 - 6 studs there still.
  11. Captain Blackmoor - 3 points, for a funny idea and a brickbuild ship. Mayday artist - 2, points for a very original idea. ISC - 1 point, for an overall well build and detailed entry. Infomaniac - 1 point, because the layout of the port is just great as are the rounded walls. Good luck everybody!
  12. Matija's has a smoke generator in the pipe that uses the fluid.
  13. Awww, and you haven't started on the rigging yet.
  14. Yeah these torso's make great bandits, i always like to add a scarve around their necks to hide the weird robo thingie under the chin.
  15. Looking good there Commodore! Indeed your main mast is too far to the back, it should be roughly in the middle of the ship. The Fore mast should be placed just where the bow runs up, the aft is placed in the middle of the poop. On the bow you might want to extend it a bit, similar to as i have done on La Mort Royal, just to make it less stump. How is La Mort Royale by the way?
  16. I've known the Redcoats were Mexicans all along! It looks great all together Brickster, you've just come up with a new theme and you did it in no time!
  17. Woa that is ambitious Commodore! Looks good from what i can see, the only thing bugging me are the grey top parts on the small hulls. You might want to consider taking them off and switching them for black ones. Best of luck with it!
  18. Is that a new one?
  19. Your ship is indeed too high. In order to make it lower you could make the space in between gundecks a bit less, or lose 1 deck. At the bow you have stopped the hull too early, the headrails just stick out the front and connect the bow with the prowl. At the back i would loose the stained glass window and bring the windows you are using at the top down a bit. Other then that I would advise you to study ships a bit more, to learn about the proportions, details etc. You can find many recourses in the library that is pinned in the pirate forum. That's my 2 cents, if you have further specific questions, feel free to ask. I do like your figurehead though, very creative!
  20. Never thought of it that way, good one! That's a nice army you have there Claas, i like the use of the castle flag as regimental flag!
  21. You've asked my opinion, but i can not make up what exactly you are after? Is it supposed to be a realistic ship, or a fantasy playful one? The latter isn't really my thing, so my opinion would be rather worthless I'm afraid.
  22. Wonderful idea, now you have almost convinced me to have a tree myself. Now where are the lights?
  23. Great building! I love the guy spraying graffiti on the side, the cop standing next to it makes me think a bit of the intro movie from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
  24. That's really cool for such a small scale, and very recognizable too! Good luck in the contest!
