Because most of us here are to discuss LEGO star wars 2021 sets not LEGO youtubers. And imo it's quite different if we talk about X famous person for example actor pedro pascal that will never know about it and if we straight up insult Y famous person that is a member of the forum and that reads messages here. At that point it's the same as all of us insulting each other. @Mandalorianknight The only problem i have with you is that you are unable to accept someone thinks differently than you. You have to tag them, argue with them and then ridicule them. My favorite sw movie is the phantom menace and i buy ucs sets mostly cause of minifigures such as ucs batwing where figures would have cost me 150$ plus shipping or i can just buy the entire thing for 200$. Now instead of accepting my opinion and stating yours you have to argue me and say how bad phantom menace is bad and how the main point of ucs set aren't minifigures etc. Recently i said how i hate stormtrooper helmets and other joined in on discussing said their opinion and we moved on, i didn't harass people over it or try to change their minds or ridiculed them for it. Feel free to argue me on my assumptions and speculations cause sometimes i say stupid stuff like assuming gunship got 90% of the vote cause i am surrounded daily by 50-200 prequel fans and i had no idea so many people wanted nebulon, but if you have to argue everything i say, like and do you can just block me here and save others from constant arguing. I know it's not a good way to measure sales, but on Brickset Gunship is beating imperial light cruiser and Vader's meditation chambers in the numbers of set owned so i think that's pretty good.

Let's be serious, if Nebulon won i wouldn't say a word here, fair game our votes lost, have fun with your set. I woulnd't waste my time arguing and checking up on the set to argue how gunship would do better. Some of the people here personally attack others constantly since the set got voted in including youtubers that are members of the forum and their fans. Day and night half of this threads are either insulting a certain youtuber or gaslighting and ridiculing people that voted for gunship. I think salty is a fair assessment considering things the certain individual said such as why they voted if they didn't buy it right away, they were never planning to buy it and just use minifigures as excuse, how illogical and self-defeating it is to vote for a $350 UCS set and then not get it, only people that voted are teenagers that like prequels, why would they vote for the gunship to support prequels and then not buy it etc. Where were you then to call people on being immature? And if i said the same things in reverse about people that voted for nebulon i would get banned from the forum. How is it not immature to ridicule people that talk about minifigures in gunship and then open up a discussion about AT-AT UCS minifigures or ridiculing people that change their mind on a set while searching how to cancel preorder on the bad batch shuttle in a different thread and then changing their mind again and ordering it anyway.

Yeah, but to bricklink it someone else would need to buy the set which would boost the sales and demand would be huge so people would buy more and more, and some people would be happy to get 50$ off the set if they don't care about Cody or earn even more money by parting it out. LEGO is also an investment, if i buy the set for Cody minifigure and then never build it i will support prequel ucs sets and then pretty much get my money back plus more by selling it on bricklink in 3 years with box untouched and pieces still sealed in the bags minus Cody. It's not like you are throwing 350$ in the trashcan if you buy it for Cody. I also think it's crazy to judge sales of a set that came out on a sunday after 24 hours, maybe people want accurate box or are waiting for christmas or they just spent 430$ plus taxes on the wave first. Dooming and glooming and assuming things just to have drama in chat cause they are salty that nebulon didn't win.

It would have, at least for me and i don't even care about Cody. 350$ may be big to you, but it's nothing to prequel fans that had literally 0 sets to buy since the july wave of 2020. Even if your LEGO budget is a measly 100$ a month out of your paycheck you would have 1300$ till now. You can keep being close minded and judge and ridicule people that voted for the set all you want. I voted for gunship cause we didn't have 1 for 9 years since i was a child in high school with no money to afford one and i wanted to buy 2 and display my clones inside. I didn't care about gonk droids, commander cody etc. I voted for Rune Haako and Rex expecting nothing. I often get jelaous of UCS sets OT fans get cause they look so good and they are perfect scale like Slave 1 and Shuttle and you get that cool exclusive figure like Boba so i had high hopes for my first UCS set. Set gets revealed and it's not minifigure scale, its still somehow 350$ and on top of that minifigures suck. So yeah a figure would make a huge impact cause it would be the only draw for me to buy it and spend 350$.

It's exclusive to Shop Disney and Walmart ( you can also buy it from the LEGO) so you will not find it in Target.

Just ordered the Mandalorian Starfighter and Duel on Mandalore so i am pretty excited. Only set that is sold out here from the new wave is the bad batch shuttle. Paz Vizsla's jetpack looks bad, i wonder if i could just add a normal jetpack on top of that new armor piece. (nvm you can't)

Forge looks amazing, lot of details and cool little things especially the mando hologram (or whatever it is) piece and finally a jetpack. Paz Vizsla figure is perfect, not a big fan of armorers helmet though and it's not only the gar saxon horns it's the print aswell. Definitely buying it and i am thankful to LEGO for making some of the figures that i honestly thought they will never make like Gar Saxon and Paz Vizsla aswell as putting highly desirable figures like Clone Wars Maul and Bo Katan in a relatively cheap sets aswell as placing all 5 bad batch members in a single set even though i hate how the set looks i am not forced to buy multiple sets or spend a small fortune on bricklink like knights of Ren fans had to. Biggest complaint i have for this year are the stormtrooper helmets, they are the only reason i haven't bought the new tie fighter and the main reason i won't pick up the marauder set. I really hope they don't keep up with them especially cause all the new media/shows and movies are most likely gonna feature stormtroopers and we will end up getting more of them in the future sets. They did an amazing job with the scout trooper/biker scout helmet and those solo movie patrol trooper helmets though.

I will be on the lookout from day 1 for 3 mandalorian fighters and duel on mandalore, from what i saw ton of people are going for mandalorian fighter day 1 and the bad batch shuttle and they will just take duel on mandalore with it cause it's only 20$ even though it would be much smarter to wait for the shuttle till we get leaks for january wave especially if you only want it for figures. Gunship will be taken by scalpers cause of the box. I really don't think any other set will sell out first day even though almost every single set has something cool about it like Boba figure, Mortar trooper figure etc.

That's how you see it and how you choose to live your life, not me. UCS sets are literally the same thing as playscale sets! They are designed by the same designers, they are made from the same company and they are made from the same plastic. People see it differently cause they add in a 5 cents sticker plack and they call it a fancy name like Ultimate, Supreme, Maximum, Spectacular, Incredible, Master Builder so you don't feel as bad for spending ridiculous amounts of money on it and it feels deluxe and special. Moff Giddeons cruiser is 160$, add 400 pieces inside to make it more accurate and give it a 5 cents sticker and it's now a UCS set? You can buy 160$ set for dark trooper, but you can't buy 200$ set for dark trooper cause it's branded as "fancy" and "ultimate"?

Well David forgot about and left make a wish kid alone in a room and went to watch movies with his friends during one of the brickfairs so unless Ryan kills someone he will always be a better youtuber and a person in my eyes, even though his AAT review sucked and idk what he was thinking with fake lego designer interview, but it's his opinion and his channel and there is a reason almost 400 k people love and watch him. Sorry, but who are you to tell someone what UCS sets should be about for them? Some people are enjoying figures the most or displaying sets with figures. The entire thing would be perfectly fine if LEGO didn't ask us to write what we want and gave us all hope and made us all speculate for year and a half about it just to crush our dreams and hopes and then threaten us to still buy it or no more PT sets, they made it about figures.

1. Screw your fans and release a terrible PT UCS set without minifigures in 2010. 2. Because that didn't sell, don't make PT UCS sets after that for next 11 years. 3. Make a fan vote between 2 Ot sets and Gunship and ask people which figures they would like with that. 4. Pt set wins, but designers ignore fan figure votes. 5. For the first time release a non minifigure scale UCS set for more than 200$ (not counting star destroyer) 6. Don't even include a necessary pilot even though fans would be happy with old microfighter one. 7. Proceed to insult star wars fans by saying they only remember yellow marked clone from the movie. 8. Proceed to threaten fans by saying they will not get another PT UCS set unless this ones sell. 9. Virtue signal about not wanting to include sought after figures in expensive sets while having 7 exclusive minifigures in the set for the same amount of money on the shelfs right now. 10. After MandRproductions lets everyone know vote is even happening and after he makes a public discussion video with fans of other 2 ucs set choices flip him off and let Solid Brix Studios reveal the set instead. 11. Don't reveal the set during LEGO Con, but send it to LAN members 2 months early. 12. Sprinkle in some packaging errors.

What are you talking about? A non LEGO fan will randomly appear in the LEGO isle or in the LEGO store and see this set and buy it for 400$ out of the blue? And there will be so many cases of this happening that they will become main consumers and buy more than LEGO fans?? Or a non SW fan? You are telling me a random person will pass next to mos eisley with 21 figures,vehicles and a dinosaur looking creature, 1989 batmobile and batwing, ninjago gardens,benatar and pick a random ship from a movie he is not a fan of that's missing the middle section and just buy it for 400$ and drive it home? And there will be tens of thousand of such cases? This sounds absurd to me

Only the cargo back area closes, you can't close the middle section where clones and jedi are supposed to be standing. I like to think that there is a big difference in not buying a lego set unless LEGO puts captain rex, 2 pilots, 2 gunners, commander cody and 20 regular clones in there versus not spending minimum wage of my country on a licenced set that would come with a non licensed meme minifigure lego made back when george bush was president and none of the kids meme-ing about it were even born yet.

i was only 32% off lmao 100% i remember reading yesterday how people attacked him for saying there is an empire logo on the box and now that it's confirmed no apologies or anything. Yeah, i think it would make more people happy if 1 set became ucs preferably nebulon and other 2 playsets. I am still getting the set, but i would rather have multiple playsets and it could have been advertised with mandalorian starfighter just throw in couple of ahsoka troopers, rex and 2 pilots, i would definitely buy 3-4 of those. Jedi bob is a meme and is used by 12 year olds as an excuse to not get the set they knew they would never have money for after they voted for it. I would definitely not get anything with jedi bob.

1. 501st set is innacurate cause of builds, figures are perfect. I am not saying there should be minifigure scale, but 30$ sets should have some sorts of accuracy and not 6 times the size at-rt that is taller than my 2007 MTT, not even gonna talk about double the size barc speeder. No one would care if it's a 15$ battlepack, but LEGO did us dirty and made it double the price (same number of figures, innacurate builds). Even the most respected person in the community Jang talked about innacuracies. Recently the best YT moc builder Solid Brix built a part of his Geonosis moc and what do we see there AAT straight from the box, but to have accurate AT-RT he had to buy parts and design 1 himself cause of LEGO's innacuracies (only best is good enough though). 2. i will make multiple sections for this based on you admiting 501st set sold well Youtube - I checked most of the youtubers you guys here watch and i found AAT review beat 501st review on these channel: Jangbricks, Solid Brix Studio, Potter Minifig Pals, Austrian LEGO Fan. Bigger online interest. Brickset - 2020 AAT is owned by around 9 thousand people according to brickset which means AAT beats aka is owned more than: any of the Harry Potter sets from 2020 and 2021, any of the Tehnic sets from 2017-2021, Marvel superheroes 2019-2021 (only iron man hall of armor coming close) , any of the city sets 2019-2021... AAT is ranked number 2 in most owned star wars 40$ sets since 2017 and is only beaten by 20th anniversary snowspeeder which is out for 2 and a half years and it is a must have set to collect all 20th anniversary figures. Other than battle packs only recent sets with similar owned by numbers are razor crest, trouble on tatooine, boba fetts helmet and Obi Wans Hutt and you have to admit those sets are very popular and selling extremely well, but unlike AAT you only need 1 of those sets while most people i talked to got way more than 1 AAT. Bricklink - People on bricklink bought around 4000 Ahsokas clones in last 6 months and there are 2200 for sale rn. These are huge numbers man considering they only came in AAT and you only got 1. Only figures that comes close to those numbers are arm printing mando and absolutely insane numbers on 501st troopers (20 thousand sold in past 6 months, but when we divide that by 3 you get similar number to arm printing mando and Ahsokas clone in terms of sets bought to make those sales). Amazon - AAT was top 4 building toys between august and christmas 2020 on amazon and even held an amazing spot of toys in general. AAT currently has 4 thousand ratings on Amazon and it needs 80 ratings to beat 501st set which you admited sold greatly. Ahsoka and army building - Ahsoka is one of the most popular star wars characters after being in rebels, cw, cw movie and the mandalorian, her only non animated face figure was between 120-200$ on bricklink and ton of people bought the set just for her and ton of people mass bought it for army building and for the clone which makes amazon ratings and bricket owned by numbers even more insane. 3. yes there are ton of trolls in community, but he was indicating that trolls got gunship to win the vote which is not true and imo he is just being salty nebulon didn't win 4. well you don't have a proof i am wrong, my logic is coming from the power of MandR and other youtubers pushing for gunship vote and ton of younger prequel only fans jumping on the hype train of their first prequel ucs set. I am just guessing the number but if only 1/4th of the people that watched MandR's video voted it's pretty much around 90% like i said and us getting jar-jar brickhead pick just enforces this argument. 5. Yeah, we will probably have to fill it with innacurate and overpriced 501st sets. Seems much cheaper than buying older shinies on bricklink. I also think it would not be overlap for ucs set, but a result of great sales of AAT and 501st sets last year + they made those special new prints for mando helmets for Saxon and Armorer wouldn't be too crazy to give us dark trooper bp and then half clone half Maul's super commandos bp. What are you talking about? What kind of trolls? Gunship most likely destroyed everyone in that vote with 90% of votes and it was so horrible they won't even post it. Community is overwhelmingly prequel fans, the only problem in last 15 years is that 30 year olds + would destroy middle schoolers, high schoolers and students that grew up with prequels in sales cause they have a steady job and can drop 800$ for UCS falcon and UCS star destroyer for 700$. Times are slowly changing, those of us that grew up with prequels have jobs now and can match OT sales. This can only be a huge win for us and if it works we will get more and more UCS sets maybe even to the point of only prequel sets till sequel fans (if they even exist) grow up. I am extremely confident that we will destroy a-wing and star destroyer sales in first few months with ease.

When i heard orange gunship i remembered how HASBRO released a republic gunship toy when i was a kid for revenge of the sith and instead of red details it had yellow so i pressume it would look like 212th battalion gunship mocs which would look amazing next to Ahsokas clones from AAT. I know wishing is against the rules, but if LEGO released those clones in a battle pack or mixed 2 of them with 2 mauls mandalorians, it would definitely increase the sales of the gunship no matter which figures come with it.

Pleasantly surprised with the forge build. If i am being honest i would have bought it no matter what for Paz figure, but i am glad it actually looks good. Not the biggest fan of armorers helmet though. Lego should have showed this set during LEGO con a week ago...

LEGO con was a disaster, it's mind-boggling that they didn't even show the mandalorian forge set even though we saw the figures. Just show it on your own terms when you know it will leak in few weeks anyway. And why did they use Ahsoka in advertisment for mandalorian sets and then didn't include her in any of the sets? Marauder looks pretty good, probably not gonna get it cause i hate the new stormtrooper helmets, but i am still deciding. If i put my bias towards AAT this is much better value for 40$, AAT had 286 pieces and Marauder has 478 + you get actual 4 figures and not 2 figures and 2 droids. Maybe even a multiple set buy for imperial army builders.

Watched the mandalorian starfighter review and i like it a lot, i have no issues with price, size or figures, the only flaw the set has imo is the gap where the cockpit is. I know this will bother me a lot, so i am hoping i can somehow mod it. Slave 1 also looks really good and is decently priced,i would like it more if the carbonite piece was printed and not a sticker, but doesn't bother me as much. Mandalorian throne does seem too expensive even though it's only 20$ considering that the set has multiple stickers and doesn't feel like it offers that much except for the Maul figure, which looks amazing. If i put my bias towards Mandalore aside other duel sets feel 5 times better. The only set i think is overpriced is bad batch shuttle, it looks too small from reviews, interior feels even smaller than i expected and we get a horrible, oversized and innacurate 501st speeder in darker color. I think pieces from the speeders should have been used on the shuttle itself. Shuttle is the only set that i am not sure if i want to get or not cause i mainly want figures. I feel like i waste money if i buy figures separately, i waste money if i buy the set i don't like, but there is also this doubt in my mind because i don't know if we will get more sets from the show.

I understand where you are coming from,but i also understand he is young and you and me and ton of people in that age range did and said some stupid stuff and probably no one cared while he has 300k people constantly watching and judging him. I hated his AAT review,but i can just stop watching his reviews,life is too short to hate i don't wanna find myself in 50 years waving my stick at the sky and yelling damn you MandR for that 2020 AAT review and this thread can't turn into 6 page rants about him every time he is mentioned especially since he is a member of this forum. On topic of lego selling individual figures,they said that the build inside has to offer play experience and i really don't know how a 20th anniversary stand offers any kind of play experience while buying 20th anniversary obi and if it is a promo and they are aware of a demand why are they not making more figure promos and instead they make terrible builds as may the 4th promo for example. Just sell all the other figures with stands then,there is always star wars anniversary of something at this point. Some people say they have different contracts,how does a multi million company like LEGO have such a bad contract deal and random companies from all over the world that sell action figures like hasbro have mastermind negotiators?

100% agree,they are using the same build/mold for battle droids since 1999,they age terribly and super battle droids legs are literally breaking after time,i am afraid to even touch my commando droids

I don't understand hate towards MandR,he said LEGO stopped making battlepacks for now which they did,he never said they won't make them ever again. He is right about LEGO selling minifigures too,it's really weird how other companies can make figures,but lego can't. Just look up Kubricks Star Wars figures,hot toys,star wars miniatures etc,also how can LEGO individually sell 20th anniversary Obi ? Or make figures in magazines without builds? Your opinion of him on the side,something is really off here,LEGO designers say 1 thing and proof + logic says the other.. I am super happy they will make battlepacks again,those sets are my favorites cause i love army building and ton of kids can get into LEGO cause of it's price like i did when i was a kid.

So because you are not a prequel fan we shouldn't get the figures some of us are waiting for since 1999? Look at your profile picture of DC cmf,are those guys candidates for cmf series? Do you really think any child can name more than 4 characters? This is obvisouly aimed for a hardcore dc fans,same way star wars cmf should be aimed for. Thousands of people search and want Wat Tambor figure,just search google trends worldwide from 2004-now,phrase Lego Wat Tambor is beating lego dodonna,lego wedge antilles,and half of your dc cmf figures from mr. miracle to metamorpho.

So instead of a cool jedi figures that are ready to be remade like Plo Koon or some jedi we never got like tens of named characters from geonosis arena or elsewhere with a splash of jedi temple guards you think people would rather want LEGO to make a set with jedi Rob,Bob,George and Michael that were never in any form of media? And you think that would sell well when someone sees the set in store for the first time or that someone would buy a 350$ set with a generic jedis inside? This would be equivalent of LEGO making up their own generic super heroes and throwing them into marvel sets. Please... You can easily mix and match with Ki-Adi-Mundi minifigure that came with generic robes and printed legs in extremely cheap set instead of ruining a set for everyone.
