Just wondering... is shipping at flat rate is in US no matter which state ? if so this means the post service is way cheaper than in Europe... ordering from some neighbor countries is sometimes amazingly expensive due to shipping cost while it is litterally next door if we compare the distance between France and Germany for example and a bricklink store based in NY and its customer in LA

Just disassembled the wings this morning and rebuilt them back by replacing the rubber bands, they are no longer falling down, but it means that I will no longer open/close the wings, otherwise it will become loose again if I want a X-Wing with wings open i will do it on my 75218 because the built is different

well, as the B-project is late, I am really hoping that it will released first and the new project not to be prioritized over the B-project. He started the B-project before the K one but gave the priority to the K one... :(

Just checked on YouTube to avoid watching the movie again it appears when Han sees Leia and for some odd reasons at the very end.... no more red arm !

I am asking because as I just build the latest Millenium Falcon, I am trying to get consistent minifigs to display with it. Lego delivers a regular C-3PO with this set. So my assumption is that if I want to have movie-accurate minifigs with this ship and episode, I should replace his arm by a red one, am i correct ? Moreover, this means Rey is missing in that set. So do Old Han and Old Leia, as they deliver Old Lando with it. I was also thinking about having a display plate with the old characters from the UCS set (original trilogy) on the other side next to the new characters. So on one side: - Young Luke, young Han, young Leia (ideally in her dress after she is taken from the corvette ship and rescued), Chewie, R2-D2, C-3PO all gold, young Lando (who is not in the UCS set but the original trilogy so the MF) on the other side: - Old Han, old Leia (even if she does nevet set foot on the ship), Chewie (he doesn't seem to age, or at least we don't see the difference), R2-D2, C-3PO with red left arm, old Lando, Rey, Finn, D-O and... Boolio ? (I don't recall seeing Boolio aboard the ship - and I haven't seen Solo a SW story movie) and BB-8

just out of curiosity, does C-3PO with red arm appear in any set so far or just the 7th episode ? I was thinking about replacing his arm for a red one as I have a few minifigs in stock then I realized that I never saw any in any official set

I guess i will display the minifigs lined up next/in front of the ship and complete the set with figs from the 75192 set thanks to bricklink (they are not cheap btw) just turned 41 myself ;) i think 40 you make the purchase and at 41 you have second thoughts and resell it anyway there are a few nice mods of the 75257 to make it more detailed than the official set :)

I sold it for 650€ built with all its minifigs and its box in perfect condition. The buyer told me he saw many ads but the box was scratched or has dents or with damaged white boxes inside. i believe that this kind of purchase should be done on-site. This gives the possibility for the buyer to check everything by himself. Ads on leboncoin are mostly not to say all scams. A guy is even showing a picture of a brown box with a white sticker saying Lego 75192 we ended up spending quite some time chatting about lego SW and legos in general... he was happy about the fair price and condition and so was I because thanks to that sale I can keep my collection growing with smaller sets... i can’t wait to receive my 75257 and order extra pieces to improve it. i guess giving up on UCS sets is a compromise to make when budget is tight and when one wants to keep buying new sets.

Honestly, with my baby girl growing, she can now reaches everything that is about the height of a table or most furniture and all my shelves and other storage/display are already full. I recently got rid of my UCS X-Wing, Y-Wing and Snowspeeder and recovered a lot of space. The only one left was the MF, it was "stored" built on top of my bedroom furniture, I couldn't even look at it and it was getting dust. It is very heartbreaking for me because it was the very first ship of my Lego SW collection and it took almost a year for me to build, but I will mod the 75257 so that i will be detailed and compensate my loss of my UCS. Now with the extra money, I can save and wait for 2021 sets to make the collection grow again. I am also releaved i was able to sell it at a fair price and especially be able to simply sell it due to the legal limitations of the semi-lockdown in France. The guy droves 3 hours to come. Hopefully he was allowed thanks to his business status.

Sold my 75192 MF and ordered the 75257 MF, just saved a lot of space and some money for my collection

Is it easy to sell a second hand MF ? I'm thinking of getting rid of mine. No space to display it. I already sold my other UCS ships to get smaller ones and kind of hesitated to keep the MF but now I am seriously thinking about selling. The only issue is, will i get a decent price for it or will it lose a lot of value once built. thanks

I agree with you regarding prices and sizes. A good example is the star destroyer... a massive and expensive ship that feels very little detailed and empty... that’s why i decided to get rid of my UCS sets (except the MF 75192) in order to get smaller and more affordable sets that I could mod if necessary

The latest anakin's interceptor seems better than the previous one which is same generation as Obiwan's 75135 i was wondering if i should wait for Lego to update Obiwan's to have 2 consistent ships would you mind posting a picture of both next to each others ? Thanks :)

agreed :) there are plenty of TIE fighters for now But no bomber and no outlander I am currently modding a tie fighter into a tie interceptor and looking for a nice Defender to complete the set

SW Brickheadz: Mando and the child, Leia, Luke and Yoda, Young Solo & Chewie, Boba Fett, white stormtrooper i think next year I'll build the MOCs: Luke snowspeeder outfit, a tie pilot and Ahsoka to complete the shelf I didn't get Kylo Ren, kind of disappointing with his hood...

What i mean is that previous sets than those new ones seem less toys

Nice minifigs for the X-wing but the ship is not worth the previous one hopefully i followed @Mandalorianknight and bought it recently for a good price a bit disappointed with the tie fighter too, smaller wings would have been nice on the previous one but here it is too small those sets are meant to be played by kids rather than collected by adults imho

Thanks for the advice by the way what is the piece used as a large inverted wall ? he is using several of them instead of bricks for filling the space, it could be cheaper than just bricks but also a bit weaker

Instead of putting my minifgs and ships on a classic baseplate (several, actually), I was wondering if there are some methods to build up this kind of support and if there is a name for it ? I would like to avoid putting my hoth elements on just white baseplates, it feels empty and the white baseplates will get dirty and yellow over time... I am planning on putting the Rebel trench, a AT-ST, AT-AT and some snowtroopers.... would it be strong enough ? and finally, is it expensive to build or is there some trick to optimize the build ? thanks
