Probably a calibration when the brick is turned on. Like the 4x4 steering, pushing left to right and then determine the center.

The moc is not functionnal at all. Its a studless model, but certainly not a technic thing.

Yeah and the issue with the modern Corvette is that its not an iconic car. You cannot recognize it instantly like you would for a Porsche, a F40 or some old classic cars.
