  1. Thanks, I can never quite remember how to deeplink pictures. Shows how much I actually share pictures on EB!
  2. Got the Astronomy Tower on Tuesday, and wasted no time integrating it with the rest of my Hogwarts layout! Really happy with it so far! The AT itself surpassed my expectations, it really was a joy to build. Just need to wait for The Burrow to arrive from S@H!
  3. Just ordered The Burrow with the free hot rod, have the AT coming from Amazon on Tuesday too so I'm a happy camper!
  4. £85. I'm a bit worried The Burrow will go on backorder in the next 45 minutes though
  5. Set's are up on UK S@H. Do I need to wait until midnight for the free hot rod or will that be thrown in automatically?
  6. Barracuda Bay took about 10 days to arrive if I recall correctly, so I would expect that kind of timescale. At least there's the free hot rod!
  7. Yep, I initially cancelled my Amazon order for Waterstones but the similar pricing and guaranteed delivery for Tuesday pushed me to move it back to Amazon. Was a bit concerned it would arrive at the same time as The Burrow, since I wanted to space them out.
  8. I think that looks pretty great actually! I'm pretty sure I saw a MOC on Instagram that used the 2014 set's upper part along with the larger pieces, but The smaller ones would do the trick nicely. I just hope they don't use those rounder ones again, they didn't look right on the 2014 version despite being really nice pieces. As for the figure selection, I would say maybe swap out Wat Tambor with a Super Battle Droid and that's likely what we're getting figure-wise as a conservative guess
  9. I think the AAT could end up using those larger curved slope pieces that the 2009 version used, but otherwise remain similar to the design of the 2014 version. I think that would justify the price hike since they are larger moulds. I also think we'll see at least a Clone Trooper or a Jedi thrown in for 'conflict', hopefully both.
  10. I think I'll probably do this, as well as buy random packs from S@H (and give any spares to my partner ).
  11. Oh I see. I always thought it looked very off-model myself, and on top of that the height increase it gave to minifigures made it more difficult to fit them in the cockpits of ships.
  12. Sorry if this has already been answered, but was there ever an 'official' explanation as to why the Rebel pilot helmet mould from the 2018 X-Wing has seemingly been retired? With the 4+ X-Wing and 20th Anniversary Snowspeeder I just assumed it was a combination of making the figures taller and the mould being pricey, but it doesn't appear in the AT-AT either. I'm happy for the return of the original mould, I just find it a bit strange that they would go through the trouble of making this intricate new piece only to do away with it immediately. It also has me wondering if the new Stormtrooper helmets will be retired in order to bring the original mold back (which I wouldn't mind, while I don't dislike the new one the original looked much better in my opinion).
  13. I'm very much dreading the process of collecting the entirety of Series 2 come August. Not being able to feel packets is going to make the process much harder and more expensive
  14. I pre-ordered the AT through Amazon UK and they're saying they don't have a delivering date, and it looks like this is the case for all of the new Potter sets. Is this normal when pre-ordering Lego through them or is it pandemic-related (since they're focusing on essentials first and foremost)?
  15. What are the chances that the $100 retailer exclusive is an AT-TE? I seem to recall hearing somewhere that it's supposed to have over 700 peices (which would be in-line with the 2013 one), though I could just be misremembering things.
  16. Says pre-order for me, but the 10% off is nice!
  17. Just checked, The Burrow still isn't available for pre-order.
  18. Okay, so it'll be S@H I'm guessing? Raring to pre-order The Burrow
  19. I've seen a couple of people say this wave was supposed to go up for pre-order today/tomorrow, is this true?
  20. The Burrow and Privet Drive look beautiful and I'll be getting them Day One. The Burrow also doesn't look that difficult to modify into being fully enclosed, which should be a fun project!
  21. Just finished building today, such a wonderful set. There are a staggering amount of small details, and the ship conversion is absolutely gorgeous! (That said it's definitely a process converting it between the wreck and the ship) Not really a Pirates fan but this is a fantastic set in it's own right and it was a joy to build.
  22. Good to know it's not just an issue with my order in particular. I don't normally order from S@H as I have a local LEGO store, so I'm not familiar with how quick reliable they are. I would imagine the circumstances would make things worse than usual too. Here's hoping our orders are sent soon!
  23. Just checked on my order, still in the warehouse. Any other UK-based people having this issue?
  24. The free Easter egg didn't appear in the basket but it was in the invoice (UK here). Mine's still in the warehouse however, due to be dispatched today or tomorrow apparently.
  25. That's odd, mine is still in the warehouse. Perhaps shipping to the UK is logistically more complicated for them? I haven't ordered from S@H in years but whenever I did they were very slow with shipping. But back on topic, I'm so glad I managed to get the set, it completely blindsided me and usually it would have been impossible to make such an expensive impulse purchase. Hopefully I can find somewhere to display it given how big it's supposed to be And I *believe* this is the first day-one purchase I have made for a D2C set at the very least.
