  1. Hello all. I guess i am following in DLuders footsteps by posting another person's MOC, but i couldn't resist. This beast is completely remote control. My favorite part is the extending stabilizer legs. More photos can be found here And the video: His model is certainly putting to shame .tim

  6. 8043 is the best IMO. both the 8110 and the 8258 can be motorized and there are several threads about them. tim

  10. As someone else said, i love that the car can burnout! Very nice build. tim
  11. I remember when i first built the set i was amazed! First the main frame was built, which was followed by each wheel's segment. The way that the segments slid onto the main frame was genius! tim
  12. Once again, marvelous creation! tim
  13. I am actually kind of disappointed with the helicopter. I like sets of construction machines more than other types. tim
  14. Why are we not allowed to post prelim pics? Doesn't it help TLG, not hurt? tim
  15. I am like you too. i used to build MOCs straight off of memory, based on trucks i had seen driving around over the years. i just realized the huge number of parts you are using, and i have to admit my eyes are . Good luck building. tim
  16. I liked the set, but there were defiantly a few weak spots. the first failure for me was the steering. After some time of playing with the model, the gears in the steering system started failing. Since i was younger when i built the set, i didn't really know how to go back and trouble shoot. Another weak spot for me was the lifting power. When i was younger, i tried doing everything with my lego sets. Sometimes the pneumatics would not be able to support the boom so i couldn't pick up some things. otherwise the set is fantastic! tim
  17. Wow im kind of jealous you have all those parts ... tim
  18. That is amazing that you managed to recreate that beast in virtual, that must have taken forever! Nice job though. tim
  19. yay for pneumatics . nice little mod. tim
  20. I think David will faint if there is a servo motor! We NEED more close up pictures! tim
  21. Ahh that is easy!!! it looks very promising! I will have to make one. tim
  22. I think you should make some awesome attachments for the unimog! With all those parts i am sure you can make some pretty cool ones. tim
