  1. I have just seen the Death Star Trench Run Diorama and the Dagobah Jedi Training on preorder for NOK 499 (~€ 49) and NOK 699 (~€ 69), respectively, on a Norwegian webstore. Prices on lego.com for these two sets are NOK 799 (~€ 79) and NOK 999 (~€ 99). Those prices are much lower (30% to 37% off) and seem quite reasonable. Did anyone find similar pre-order prices in other countries?
  2. It seems a strange choice, especially taking into account the overall unpopularity of the last GWP microbuilds offered as May the 4th promos. It is indeed similar (but of course improved and very detailed) to the Death Star II Battle, which was probably the least popular among the four GWP microbuilds.
  3. I couldn’t agree more. If the picture is legit, I reallt look forward to this set! The head piece from minidolls suits perfectly to the shape of a Kaminoan’s head.
  4. The Nebulon-B in universe is 300 m long, exactely double the length of the Tantive IV. A UCS set could be one where the same scale is maintained, meaning approximately 150 studs which equals 120 cm. Rather long, but well displayable. Still, I expect Lego would go for something slightly smaller, maybe 80 cm. I would buy it for around $300-350.
  5. The Dark Trooper Attack look excellent! Yes, it is pricy, but I really like the diorama with the corridor and elevator. It’s so generic that it can be reused with other characters to make different scenes. Moreover, if you buy multiples of this set, you can easily make a longer corridor, an ISD hangar, etc.
  6. Looking at hi resolution pictures on Brickset, Luke’s helmet seems to have a mixture of printed pieces (mostly dish plates) and stickers. This is definitelty the most difficult helmet design so far, and the helmet itself is good. The visor, however, does’t really look like a visor. It reminds me more of some Ray-Ban avitor sunglasses…
  7. It might be possible to make a DS set with proper and displayable exteriors (like to the 2005 DS II, but with better techniques, see the Globe recently released) as well as some interiors (like the prievious DS playset).
  8. I think the Hoth AT-ST is a slight improvement over the AT-ST frøm Rogue one. The legs are thinner, and look much better, and the head is also nicely built. I like especially that it is more inclined downwards while the other one looks up. Still, the lack of posable legs is a big minus (such as the lack of a new cockpit for the Snowspeeder). I’m sure LEGO designers are able to do it, as they did with ots of mecs from different themes.
  9. So, it isn’t actually confermed they are phase 1 clone troopers. As the rumor about Rex and Cody was wrong, it cannot be excluded that these are phase 2 clone troopers.
  10. At least they fixed the visor, which is now more correclty higher up.
  11. Agree with this. I have recently found a Republic Gunship (75021) for about €30 (!!!) without minifigs. I have some plain P1 clones, so this set is a nice addition. It also makes sense with the UCS version recently released. Yes, P2 clones are nicer, but P2 Cody and Rex can still come in future (more expensive) sets. Anyway, it’s a PT set, not OT. Only this should make several fans happy.
  12. Unless he finds another one in season 3
  13. Are all the upcoming Hoth sets (AT-AT, AT-ST and battle pack) LEGO exclusives, or will they also be sold at other retailers? (sorry if I missed this information in the tread). Just wondering whether we could expect to get the sets at lower prices.
  14. I hope the AT-ST will have posable legs this time! They made a posable UCS AT-AT, it should be much easier with such a smaller model.
  15. Yeah, I feel something like the Duel on Mandalore, or slightly bigger, with no exteriors, would be safe, taking also into account that the show is new.
  16. Yes, the last AT-STs (Rogue One and Mandalorian) are very good sets but actually oversized, while the old Endor one has a better scale. I think the AT-ST would be a good candidate for a minifig-scale or a slightly downscaled version like the last TIE Fighter and X-wing. But all at a lower price, not $60. I would pay $60 if they also include an Endor bunker entrance with a couple of rebel troopers.
  17. I sold my 7965 (2011) to upgrade to 75257 (which I bought 40% off). I think it looks much better and its shape is more accurate. I’m overall very satisfied (taking als into account that the upgrade was rather cheap).
  18. While the BB shuttle has some accepable limitations (most of which can be fixed/modded), the cockpit (choice of the piece and sticker) really bothers me. Did anyone try to modify it, either brick building or using the windscreen nr 24226c01 / 24235c01 (from Dawn of Justice’s batmobile/batwing)? It would be interesting to see some pictures of how the BB shuttle looks like with those.
  19. From what I’ve seen in reviews, it seems the printing of the new mando helmet is slightly different as it happened to you. My mando from the Razor Crest looks like the one on the left, while the new one seems to have the «visor» printed lower. In my opinion the bigger gap over the visor doesn’t look good at all.
  20. This set could have been elevated with a simple 2in1, by allowing to choose between either the traditional LAAT but bubble turrets or the version with front doors seen in Clone Wars (as set 7676). I personally prefer the look of the latter.
  21. The LAAT is beautiful and massive as expected! If you want it at minifig scale use it with army of Jack Stone clones!
  22. Why is 75312 Boba Fett's Starship not named Slave I? https://brickset.com/article/60208/why-is-75312-boba-fett-s-starship-not-named-slave-i Hopefully end of discussion :) Once the ship is on your shelf, or in your kid's hand, the name on the box (which in most of the cases will be thrown away) doesn't really matter that much.
