That could be the case. Obi-Wan’s Hut has a couple of white clips in the back which could potentially be attached to another set. Luke’s Landspeeder (the last one just release or any of the older models) will fit in easily. -

«The lesson here is always to buy everything on day one» is clearly ironic. They are LEGO employees, and it’s in their interest that their products sell well. As LEGO employees, they defend the choices made, which explains the arguments regarding the TIE Bomber. It comes often to commercial reasons. The Bomber is indeed very popular among AFOLs, but not among kids, as it did not appear in any recent film/show. I gave up and built a TIE Interceptor from Rebel Builder, now displayed among other LEGO TIEs. The next one will be the TIE Bomber. -

Interesting interview! There is a clear chance to get future Mandalorian sets according to what has been mentioned here and taken the popularity of the show and the existing sets. Hopefully something from season 2 next year, as there will be exciting charaters (and possibly ships). -

I was wondering, why are Marilyn Monroe and The Beatles built with round tiles, why Iron Man and Star Wars Sith with studs? I believe the reason is that Lego designed these to address different audiences, the first two oriented mostly towards adults and the other two mostly towards a younger audience. -

Regardless of personal preferences (skin tone, face details), it appears that LEGO is finally listening more to feedbacks and wishes of customers, (including AFOLs) and even addressing some of those from time to time! Hopefully someone from their teams keeps reading these forums. -

I have exactely the same opinion about both. Regarding the whole discussion, people are different and have different opinions. Lego and its designers are as well. Lego thought the new hips would be more accurate, some agree some don’t. I appreciate the effort and respect all opinions. Lego thought Luke’s hair piece was the best fitting. I think it’s old fashioned, others like it, and that’s fine. Most here are all AFOL and luckily we can rely on modifying and bricklinking :) -

It can be a good thing that the Night Buzzard isn’t too big. All those who are interested in completing the knights of Ren won’t need to spend too much money, and they will still have a good looking, detailed and displayable ship. Bricklinking them will also be not too expensive. -

I’m pleased to see that the Resistance I-TS Transport has good interior space. The colour scheme and overall look are also very nice. -

It was rather vague to vote for a UCS LAAT or a UCS Nebulon B without a sketch or an overall idea of their possible size. I believe people’s vote would have been more reflective if they were provided with some information of scale (which will be translated into piece count and price), playability and displayability. To me, for instance, the latter is crucial, as I prioritize sets which can be displayed on shelves (up to 40 cm in depth), while others might have completely different preferences. -

I believe a proper minifig-scale UCS Gunship (slighly larger that the previous versions and with higher level of detail) selling for $200-250 would satisfy many. First of all LEGO, such a set would probably sell well. Then customers, both those who want a larger and detailed set and those who want a set to be used with minifigures. The set would be like the Slave 1, Millenium Falcon, Lambda Shuttle etc, all sets which have been very popular when launched and in the after market. -

I think 40 is the only clue here: Probabily referring to another set for the 40th anniversary of ESB. -

Luke’s hair piece makes the new Final Duel set look like his predecessor. That mold is old-fashioned and has been around for 40 years. Maybe the set would look slighly more attractive with another mold. On the other hand, the new Ahsoka is well done. The only thing I’m concerned about is the quality of her hair piece. I have two Rebels Ahsoka, one kept sealed and one displayed. The latter has lost some paint from the «horns». Anyone having a similar experience? I hope this has been improved. -

The A-wing in the Advent Calendar looks better than that included in the last GWP. -

Just for piece number comparison, Rebel Builder's TIE Interceptor has only 469 pieces (very close to LEGO Major Vonreg's TIE Fighter, 496 pieces sold for $69), while his TIE Defender has 817 pieces. The Defender was seen in Rebels, and it's remake sounds very unlikely (as much as I would love it). On the contrary, a TIE Interceptor could be easily made based on Vonreg's TIE Fighter. It could also makes sense taken the last UCS and the GWP. However, I do not see it selling at $90-100. Anyway, agree that any new TIE would be welcome and sell well. -

I was also looking at Rebel Builder’s TIEs, which are all developed to be as close as possible to LEGO sets when it comes to construction techniques, durability and playability. His last TIE Bomber has about 1000 pieces. This seems reasonable, since the main body is almost like that of two TIE Strikers, which counted 543 pieces. Looking also at the video of the TIE Fighter collection, you see how the Bomber sizes compared to other TIEs -

I only see improvements with this new version compared to the previous ones. I’m sure that once you put the 2020 and 2014 versions side by side the differences will become even more apparent. The overall head design is clearly the most improved area. Everything seems very accurate to the movie. One note: the AT-AT appearing in Rebels was different as supposed to be a developmental model (design inspired by McQuarrie’s illustrations). By the way, pre-order of the Razor Crest does not entitle to the GWP as I suspected. -

The one time I managed to load the Deals page I got a rather uninteresting list including Droid Commander, Pasaana Speeder, Black Ace and all the Battle Attack sets. The sets were listed under the Deals page, but still no discounts were applied. It seems very messy, that explain the maintenance status... -

The three helmets are still out of stock (at least in Europe). That’s a shame since it could have been a good purchase to get the GWP. -

@BigGuy4U, excellent, thank you for this suggestion! I have been trying to get rid of the pop-up (which appears for those who don't have an account) for quite some time. Just added a couple of filters and the problem is solved now. -

A higher quality picture of the May the 4th promo is out now. Nice, but not very impressed by this compared to the previous ones. Interestingly, they chose a mini-scale Death Star II with an A-wing and a TIE Interceptor and at the same time they release a UCS A-wing (and maybe a UCS Death Star II later this year). Now only a new TIE Interceptor (possibly sytem-scale like this one) is missing, the 2006 is rather outdated... -

I would like that too! The B-wing got some screen time in TROS (probably more than it did in Episode VI) and can work as well as OT vehicle (such as the most recent Millenium Falcon, A-wing or Y-wing). -
