Because it was anime like right? Agreed. The original masks were definately the best in my opinion because we had no idea or grounds to judge them on. When the Nuva masks came along we had a conception of what they should look like and so people liked them less. In my opinion that is the reason. Whether the masks and sets would have been such a hit if the olda had, for example, Inika masks is debatable.

My statement earlier about looking at ToM's work might point me out to be a naysayer but I actually like the look of the Newva. They're cool. Shall be a good basis for mods. I also like the grey on all of them as it looks uniform and armoured as a set of elite Toa should be. I'm glad they're done the sets like this.

I've seen you mature both in terms of manners and building (and considering you're still one of the younger ones you still have a long time to improve further) and I can happily say you've become a good member (at least to me). Psst. It's not Thrust it's Dreadwing psst. ;-) I was lucky to grab the last Protoform Optimus at TRU the other day with Classics Starscream. Optimus is a bit floppy when you handle him but he's very very poseable and stable when set down. Starscream is just amazingly cool and accurate to the old show.

I got the Commemorative Soundwave for my Birthday yesterday. Really cool toy. I think I might go out for a look at Transformers in TRU today.

You're taking it too seriously, with all the anger. Sure it's disappointing but it's a toy, and you can get replacements. And besides, most of the set is still there.

Sadly the only version of that head in flesh colours is black and has sunglasses so it's not suitable. I've gotta show my friend this, it's very good. Nice decal too.

I've never seen Colbert Report before (live in the UK) but I can't say this has persuaded me to give it a look.

I like that it's based on Fresh characters, especially since I own alot of 'em. I did notice that towards the end of the toyline the figures became more show focused and accurate, meaning very few non-show characters. But I'm so glad they included Ramulus and Razorbeast. Am I the only one who wants Hasbro to release a Cybertronian version of Leo Prime as shown in The Gathering?

I agree to an extent. But even when he was presented with his statue I found that Colbert wasn't praising it for being LEGO but instead for being him.

I found it kind of insulting. Mr Colbert thought he was being clever and funny while he was infact poking fun at our hobby in a demeaning way.

I got the Beast Wars comics (except issue 4 which I can't find online anywhere) and they're great. Some really clever writing and great art in there. I did get some good results thanks Brainbox. *sweet*
