  1. OK so what do giant spherical battle stations with guns of kill everything suggest to you? How about the prosthetic old man sitting in a chair firing lightning at the protagonist saying 'excelent'? Star Wars is what I thought throughout. And then Return of The King when they had about 6 endings. Needless to say it was disappointing.
  2. This is an interesting topic. I think my first most memorable is the amazing cutscene in Gears of War where Lieutenant Minh Young Kim is murdered in front of you by General RAAM while you're in the midst an ambush. Amazing angles and everything comes together so well. Truly the best cutscene I've ever seen. I think there's a tie for my second between the landing in Silent Cartographer and the discovery of the flood via Pvt. Jenkin's helmet camera in Halo, the first memorable because it was the first Halo level I really played in the PC demo and the second because it was told in such a compelling way. Finally, fighting Lance the Dragonmaster in the Pokemon championship in Pokemon Red was memorable.
  3. That would be Europe.
  4. I will definitely check Waterstones out. Thanks! :) And cool about Wheeljack. Kind of annoying he's not white and green but whatever. How has he been to Transform? I hear the Mustang mold is the hardest.
  5. Say, do you guys know if any of the bookshops here in the UK (Borders, Waterstones) stick the latest TF tpbs?
  6. I find it hard to believe this game will be the best sabre sim ever. It's not even in the 1st person so the Wii controls won't suit it very well I don't think.
  7. Actually I must say that Wheelie's spotlight is one of my favourites. He's not annoying (has nobody to really annoy).
  8. My next stop is Stormbringer because that takes place at the same time as Infiltration just on Cybertron. I've got a lot of the recent Spotlights in normal comic form too, today picking up Wheelie and Cyclonus (aka Revelation #1).
  9. I bought Transformers: Infiltration on Tuesday and I must say it's a wonderful version of G1. I regret that I have to buy all the other TPBs now. :(
  10. I think matching Vambraces would look wonderful here. Any plans?
  11. He's avoiding trademark issues so that's why Joey. Wowza, really can't wait for this to become available. I NEED a set.
  12. I finally got hold of Deluxe Cybertronian Prime and Deluxe Prowl from the Animated line and they're great!
  13. I somehow doubt Lucas is gonna market his new movie to the 'kiddie' consoles (sorry to use that term but its primarily true). He has already said the tone of the series, if not the art style, is darker than the 6 live action films and that he hopes to show them in adult time slots so it goes against the grain somewhat. I think LucasArts are developing the game for all the major platforms. They want their money too much. I'm confident that when LucasArts is ready to put their site online about this game, we will be able to look forward to a PS3 and 360 version.
  14. Animated figures from wave 1 are popping up in the UK, Canada and Australia. The hunt is on.
  15. I don't see why some of this is really a problem honestly. Sure you might not have an accurate movie scene but you do get a lot of fun stuff (and some extras) and since it's LEGO you can build the bits you want.
  16. It's one too many x's for me but I guess it's alright. Doesn't really sound very ancient or anything though.
  17. I think most people would have preffered it if, in the instance of the river/amphibian car set it would have been better to get a car with Dovchenko and some Commies in a car like in the film than a tree, alligator and dingy.
  18. I'm very excited for Gears of War 2 so I'm replaying Gears. What a great game.
  19. Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't LEGO's beef be with Amazon, who made it public, rather than the speculators?
  20. From your point 5, Clonie, looks like Big MN has a cold. In all seriousness, I can't believe nobody thought of this yet. Again from point 5, it seems amazing I've never seen the island as a head before.
  21. Though the fact is Iron Man is better than any of the Spidey movies in my opinion, and hands down.
  22. Saw Iron Man tonight. Best superhero movie ever. It was just... brilliant. Great blend and balance of action, serious acting (which was very good) and comedy. The actors chosen did an amazing job.
  23. Maybe a few too many colours and some of the details on top don't flow as well as they might but it's a great vehicle. Looks very playable and fun yet there is a menace to it and it does fit the purpose definately!
  24. Not sure I like the decals but the rest looks very good. Dark green is the way to go after the Chief's armour appeared like that in Halo 3.
  25. Can't agree more. They need to change it up. I'm overjoyed that Bitil will be yellow.
