  1. I spotted that too. I think it has to do with recent databse problems there. I'd cut him some slack lol. :-P
  2. I hate to say it but I'm unsure if this is really Kevin. I'm really not trying to be mean but this contact is a little out of character (although it's very possible that he, you, have changed) or it could be someone capitalising on our hopes to get a laugh. I for one hope it is you, Kevin, and I hope you're not offended by my wariness.
  3. Half the fun for me was the atmosphere.
  4. Don't get your hopes up for the Nuva. They'll not look a bit like the old one's I'd bet.
  5. On the eve of the geekist day of my life, I feel very very excited. We'll bring you coverage from our Saturday visit, hopefully with a little something different from what we normally get on the forum. And no, not those pesky Megabloks. :-P
  6. We're gonna be leaving from here at 7:30am and coming home after 8:00pm... long day!
  7. Could have been a hell of a lot worse is all I'm saying. I like my original AT-AT more.
  8. Damn we're gonna spend some more time than we thought at the LEGO area huh Joe? And to The Kid, we might not have time to go meeting people after all. Busy day.
  9. Not sure I like the shoulder pads but otherwise it's really nice. I like your solution to the hands, something I've been meaning to try out for a while (but alas the MOC juices haven't been flowing) and they look really cool on Tohu.
  10. I think I dreamt of building Tahu once (back at the start of Bionicle) but that's it.
  11. I'd definately recommend him. Very useful bits and bobs.
  12. Does anyone mind if I try to redirect the topic? So, with all at the standard sets released, we're waiting patiently for the special editions. Any you'll buy buying? I'm thinking Lesovikk to aid in my MOCing. :P
  13. I think that's just a promo, like the bucking kane-ra in the Piraka Pad (oh god...) and the real Terrain Crawler isn't like that at all. However, given the design of the Crawler set I'd say it should be a vehicle and not a Rahi because it's just not Rahi-like.
  14. Greivous, some of us aren't sensitive about those words you mentioned (in my opinion they're not even swear words but I'm not Christian) and you've got to respect that as we have to respect you. But this website is designed for AFOLs mainly (although we're here). So we just need to be tolerant. Everyone can find something they dislike about the forums but we just have to bear it for all the great parts. Anyway.
  15. Sadly I don't think they'll look at all like our heroes. They'll be Toa with the old names. What I want is the designs of the old ones but with knees and elbows (legs in the same vain as their original ones) and th same height as Metru. And same masks/tools (maybe a little bigger). But it won't happen.
  16. We could meet ya Kiddo.
  17. The Warmth - Incubus
  18. Lucky man!
  19. You guys are getting alot mixed up. The bike is based off of a character named Tetsuo Shima's bike in the movie Akira. The character is based off the main protagonist, Travis Touchdown, in the up and coming game No More Heroes for the Wii. There. I like the bike but it doesn't look so good mounted. The sword is really cool though.
  20. :-( I don't think there's anything more for me to say that's not already been said.
  21. I honestly can't agree that it's the same model. The mouth section is alot different, at least that's what I noticed. I think the character animations need to be a bit smoother but it's looking very good still.
  22. I sort or seemed really geeky about Star Wars in this certain thread. Which would be accurate.
  23. Just a Phase - Incubus
  24. I saw Spirited Away again yesterday. Excellent film, nice music, compelling artwork, good story.
  25. It was enjoyable today but I couldn't help but wonder why they didn't bring pick axes and such to break up the statues.
