Train remote or just use efferman's modification with 2 mLA powered by M motor which in my opinion is the best mod for this set.

I'll pray for alpha model at the moment, because now is ugly as hell.. If Lego wont change proportions of this hauler, in my opinion better will be buy it only for parts to build something like this: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-0231/Designer-Han/articulated-hauler-6x6/#comments Anyway I really count on proper model of this Volvo which could be a fantastic addition to 42030.

Its all depends on your needs. I am also at the beginning of my journey at lego technic world. In the late future my goal is to build some TATRA track from free instructions at rebrickable. At the moment Im not decide exaclty what tatra i will build, but every rc vehicle 8x8 has many different motors (xl, l, m) and power source (buwizz, battery box, etc). Good startup for any rc is 42095 which i just bought, probably in the near future i will buy another one because its profitable, but im also collecting XL and m motors. 2 x led lights at start will be enough also, 1 for the front, and one for the back.

Sorry for disinformation, i remember wrong date then. Anyway im looking forward those reviews!

I dont remember where i saw information about sariel's reviews at 13th december, but probably at this date we will have two reviews at his account, the crane and top gear car.
