[OFFICIAL] LEGO Ideas® 21363 The Goonies - Released Nov 4

I think it looks really really good. -
I got all of this on eBay UK for £93. Came Yesterday, all of the sets excluding 1 car (missing 1 part of the back) are complete, bad minifigs / spare parts. As I already had a bond car, my dad had taken it off my hands. The total was 1 JP car, 1 James bond car, 1 motorbike, 2 micro scale cars, 1 tuk tuk, 8 technic sets, 16 speed champions. The photo is from the eBay listing, as I have not taken a good photo yet.

I am a self described " woke" and I really think they're overdoing it. it's not that deep. personally I don't care enough for it to be called the black pearl, but I also don't see enough of a reason to call it his "pirate ship". everyone who knows the slightest bit about the franchise will know the name regardless, if they really think it's that important they wouldn't have made a new product. just a cheap shot at seeming pc lmao. Regardless I will probably be buying it, even if not I will be very happy that the black Hull parts will now be in production again, as prior they were very very pricey.

If it's anything like @Sebeus I's Moc, I'll buy it for sure ! -
personally my only qualm with it is the price. It looks good, can be both display and play, actually looks like a pirate ship, my only other issue is that the sales look unnatural. the hull and main build itself is exquisite, miles better than any pirate ship before exploding the endurance and durmstrang ship. furthermore, is the Dutchman an actual confirmed thing or just ideas 10k club ?

I sure would! I Don't know whether I'll build it unless I win the lottery haha

Thank you! That kinda song really evokes the kind of time period I was going for with the vessel. Being from the UK, I havent seen many steamboats in my life, and its the first i've ever built, so her construction was a real eye-opener for me on a lot of angles!

I loved Lego's new Steamboat so set out to create my own. A lot of techniques and inspo from Legos new set, and the design for the craft herself was inspired by the current steamboat 'Natchez'. She has around 15941 parts, including base, and 15176 without, including 484 1x1 white plates, 291 white profile 1x2 bricks ( brick design) and 576 1x4 white brick profile bricks (which dont exist), 1050 telescopes, and 1082 1x6 brown tiles. The name 'Amelia' has no significance to me, but its the same as lego's new steamer, the reason i had chosen it. There is a full interior on my flickr and I can show some more photos if you'd like. Theres a full engine room, toilet for crew, kitchen, entertainment area, gift shop, and more. and a comparison to a vessel the rough size of Legos new steamer. So yea, pretty large size difference. This is my largest MOC by both size and part count. I've kept the post brief but if anyone has any questions, or just general c and c, thats totally appreciated! Good day all!
