Wowzers that is a Brickhead and a half. Surprised there's not a bit of yellow/Bronze colouring on Buckbeak though. -

Very interesting choices for the CMF. I'm mixed on Fred and George as they take up two spots and the hair/hat piece looks a little tall. But I do like how it's straight from PoA and GoF and includes another new Marauder’s Map piece and the suitcase they had for taking bets on the Triwizard Tournament. Lilly and James (and Baby Harry) is also an interesting inclusion. I know a lot of people wanted them in the first cmf. The designs are okay, I like the accessories they come with. The Harry, Ron and Hermione figures are decent, pretty good representations of their clothes in HBP, bit of a shame we didn't get their polyjuice versions from CoS. Wish Harry would get a few more unique face prints. Hope Hermione has a second face print as it looks a bit odd. Ginny is pretty good, I like seeing outfits from the Slug Club's parties. Kind of wish Harry or Hermione's outfit was from that as well. -

Yeah. Some people were saying it's too big. But I think they got the size down right. I think in the book it's meant to be a small wooden goblet, but I like the more impressive design in the film. -

Well, I'm just glad there's something new about one of the presents. I'm going to go by my book canon that it's the Firebolt from Sirius in PoA, as that's closer to GoF. It's interesting the Yule Ball sheet, as it was a prop that was made, but not featured in the film. I like how Lego do look into these things. Also you can see the silvery piano in GoF before Professor Flitwick begun to conduct. But I agree, the music could've had an Easter egg there. (also just a random music stand with no instrument to go with, what's up with that?) -

Haha, what will we do without them. If there's one thing I'm glad they're doing again it's the fireplaces, as Hogwarts is filled with them: The Great Hall, offices, Common rooms, Room of Requirement (OotP version). It's no surprise either as Wizards use them to travel through or just communicate. So which I scorn banners, I approve fireplaces. I'm surprised they didn't make like the sandtimers with jewels to count the house points in. Would have one for each house. -

My opinions on the new Advent Calender: Not a fan of so many repeated minifigures, but the new ones look okay. I'm glad there is the inverted colours for the Patil twins dresses. Cho's outfit is good, but with the darker skin tone I keep thinking she's one of the Patils. I like the musical builds of the piano (from the Yule Ball scene) and the oversized grama phone. The Christmas trees and presents are a bit bland, but that's to be expected. I do like the Gryffindor common room bits with a fireplace and there red sofa. The wrapped up Broomstick is a nice touch too. I really like the micro builds of Hogwarts castle, the Beaubaton carriage and the Durmstrang ship that's a great little build. The goblet of fire's a nice design as well. Another Triwizard cup though? We had perfectly good ones in the CMF series and the Rise of Voldemort set, so to have another that's just too big as well is a bit annoying. Overall, nice ideas and some fun builds. Only a couple of good minifigures though. -

Personally this is what I want out of the Diagon Alley set. This set to have: PS: Ollivanders: with some play functions like a shelf breaking in two. Gringotts: More of a façade, with less to it than the others. CS: Flourish and Blotts: With Gilderoy Lockhart and a few new book prints (Magical Me, Travells with trolls etc) PA: The Leaky Cauldron: with Sirius Black posters. Then I hope they can make another Diagon Alley set with: HBP: Weasley Wizarding Wheezes: With Fred and George, lots of colour and references. HBP: Borgin and Burke: with the vanishing cabinet and maybe new prints for Bellatrix or Draco. DH1: Gringotts: again, but this version could clip onto the first design and have the Ukrainian Ironbelly. -

Judging by the two figures leaked, I think this DA set might only be based off the first three films. So maybe just: Gringotts, Ollivanders, the Leaky Cauldron and maybe Flourish and Blotts They could always make Borgin and Burkes with Weasley Wizarding Wheezes later as both are in HBP. -

That's what I was thinking, as I was sure he wasn't wearing Dudley's old clothes in Cos at Borgin and Burkes. Is it too much for me to hope for a Vanishing Cabinet built in Borgin and Burkes, as there wasn't one in the Astronomy Tower set? -

Very surprised at this reveal of a Florean Fortesque minifig. I'd never spotted his cameo in Chamber of Secrets and I've watched it plenty of times. I'm still not sure whether if I lecce it though, as Lego haven't really made book characters like that or a background cameo into a full figure. -

Final cmf predictions: 1. Rita Skeeter, with gem quill and tile notepad. 2. Gilderoy Lockhart, with Cornish Pixie (hoping for book prints like Magical Me in the DA set though). 3. Madam Pomfrey with Skele-gro Bottle. 4. I guess another Harry minifigure. I don't know if I want the Polyjuice versions or not. 5. Ron in Quidditch gear, to match Harry from HBP. 6. Hermione, not really sure what design she'd have. 7. Ginny Weasley or Katie Bell as they both appear quite a bit in HBP, which is what the leaked Harry design is based off. -

Someone mentioned earlier about wanting a new hair and hat mold for Percy. I'm not sure if they would as the hats only really appear in Philosopher's Stone, and maybe Chamber of Secrets. If they don't make a new mold, I wouldn't mind if we got the black hat worn by the Death Eater in the Rise of Voldemort set, and then a hair piece for him as well. -

So earlier I put my guesses for what the buildings could be and the books they're based off for DA. Now I'm going to put a list of minifigures I think would appear (? for those I'm less confident on their inclusion): PS: (1 or 2) Gringotts Golblins, Garrick Ollivander, Hagrid(?). CS: Gilderoy Lockhart, Percy Weasley, Lucius Malfoy(?). PoA: Tom the Inkeeper(?). HBP: Harry, Ron, Hermione, Fred, George. I live in hope that we'll get all of the Wesley's except Charlie (as he wasn't in the films) in minifigure form at some point. -

Question, if we do get Percy, Fred and George minifigures, what hair pieces do people think they'll get? Also if DA does have Wesley's Wizarding Wheezes then Percy is less likely to be included, or would they do what the Privet Drive set did, by containing elements from different films. So like: PS: Gringotts & Ollivanders CoS: Flourish and Blots PoA: redesigned Leaky Cauldron HBP: Wesley's Wizarding Wheezes -

Sorry if this is slightly off topic but with the introduction of the new centaur body and leg piece, does anyone else hope for a few Lego sets based of The Chronicles of Narnia? After all there's already a faun leg piece as well. I just don't know if Lego make sets based off books, plus the films are a bit old to start making sets off now. -

Welcome to the Wizarding World. Hope you're enjoying Goblet of Fire, it's my favourite of the books as it has the most mystery plot lines. Hope the Lego Abraxan horses live up to the book's description. -

I agree with you. Crookshanks clearly needs a new mould that has a wider and flatter face that's a bit fluffier all around. Fang is another animal I think needs a new mould. Clearly Lego doesn't think it's worth making, but I could see new cat and dog moulds being in City or Modular. I actually ordered the owl with one eye closed (which was in a little City Fireman set) off of Bricks and Pieces as I think it'd be a nice little inclusion in the Harry Potter sets I have. It's also a shame that the films never included Pigwidgeon, or else we could've had a shorter owl mould. At least we got the wings spread Hedwig (which I hope is recoloured gold for Dumbledore's lecturn). -

Can't find the post but someone mentioned that Bricks and Pieces is back up (at least in the UK). You can get Luna's hare patronus on it. I also ordered the legs, torso and head piece for the golden statue of the architect from the Advent Calender (unfortunately they don't have the gold beard on it). -

I'm definitely not saying you can ? but I've heard rumours that if you just search HP audiobooks online and go to the first result after Audible, there's all the HP audiobooks free online, both Jim Dale and the OG Stephen Fry. Stephen Fry's voice has always been my favourite from the audiobooks. Although some of the current actors they're getting in for the Wizarding World Harry Potter at home are pretty good. Simon Callow, Evanna Lynch, Olivia Coleman and Alia Bhatt are my favs atm. (sorry for the long post unrelated to Lego) -

I wish Lego made some new broomstick molds that would be similar to tail pieces (like on Rocket Raccoon or a werewolf) so that it actually looks like a character is on a broom rather than holding onto one with one hand. (Downside is of course this could result in a very phallic design) -

Concerning the Advent Calender leak, I'm already a little disappointed as it seems to focus on the Yule Ball which we already got plenty of in the clock tower set. As last it has some details from the film: the silver piano, the massive grama phone, possibly the Patil twins. -

Hmm, the book never really hinted at a relationship between them. For the films I always thought Neville worked well with Ginny and Harry worked well with Luna. -

It does already have references to PoA. There's the little picture of Harry's parents dancing. (PS It's Privet Drive) Haha I think I must've been midway through writing the same point when you posted this.
