Yeah, I know Lego really only base their sets of film versions and not books. I can see why though as it is a visual medium. Yeah.i wouldn't be surprised if we get the same Griphook from the CMF in the Diagon Alley set. Or Kingsley in the Ministry of Magic. Completely agree about the Marauder’s Map. Reminds me how we got a quite detailed version of Harry's letter to Hogwarts in the Advent calender. -

Got almost what I wanted. Nice gender neutral HP minifigure pack with each house included. I thought they'd make something like this with two boys and two girls. The choices though I'm less impressed. I'm happy to get an older Draco that's cheaper to get than the AT, shame how black his eyebrows are. We really didn't need another Harry fig though, they could've had like anyone else: Percy, Ginny, Seamus, Parvati, Katie Bell etc. Hannah Abbot, I like how they included a more obscure character, shame that the reused the face of Fleur from another set (overall looks a bit too similar to Luna as well for me) And Cho. Cho? I'm really not sure if this is her or not. Even the more accurate hair from the CMF series has been changed. If it is Padma, like some speculate it's a right shame they reused the face from the cmf then. I'm still happy we're getting this, as it'll be a nice way to get each house colours. Also glad we finally got the Marauder’s Map again. Just hope we get a 2x2 tile that just shows the cover design in the future. -

I'm hoping for maybe a couple of Student packs which could be something like: 1. Seamus Finnigan, Angelina Johnson with Blaise Zabini and Pansy Parkinson. 2. Justin Finch Fletchly, Ernie MacMillan with Penelope Clearwater and Marcus Belby. I would want a copious sets like these where we have a few similar robe designs but with the varying house colours, and maybe some robes that look a like more like those in the RoR set. I doubt a lot of these characters would appear, but they could make a few generic students with varying ages and races. -

Here's quite a good video I found which details some of the changes to the design of the Hogwarts Castle. I kind of wish we either get the main courtyard, or the courtyard with the fountain (that leads to the giant rickety Bridge to Hagrid's and Hogsmeade), but the build might look a little bland. -

Anyone else annoyed that we still haven't gotten a new print for a Marauder’s Map yet? I'm thinking of they do they could have a 2x2 tile, with a 1x4 underneath that have two 1x1 tiles on top to look like the map is unfolded. -

I think a contributing factor to include it now is because in Half Blood Prince, when Harry is on is way to Hagrid's under the influence of Felix Felicis, he finds Slughorn stealing tentacular leaves from a greenhouse. Plus I doubt they'd make set of just greenhouses from CoS with Professor Sprout, I guess why not put it here. -

It's tricky for Lego to adapt the castle sometimes, as the castle does change from film to film. So it is impressive when they make it accurate. The obvious changes were between CoS and PoA. The whomping willow and Hagrid's Hut are in completely different places to where they were. The other maor change is the viaduct. Originally it goes from one part of the castle to another, but in Deathly Hallows it now goes from the courtyard away from the castle. Also in Deathly Hallows, a lot of action happens on some stairs that seem to have replaced the moving staircases from the other films. -

Astronomy Tower: Very nicely built. Love the little details like: the printed hourglass of Slughorn's, the poisoned bottle of mead, the advanced Potion making book. Also we get the candlestick piece in gold. The figures for the most part I like, I know most people hate Ron's and Lavender's, but I like how colourful they are. Great to get Neville and Malfoy too. Bit surprised by the colouring of the greenhouse, and the inclusion of a Raven claw common room (could've had a larger version of the hospital wing there instead?) Really wish there was a build for the vanishing cabinet though, instead Draco has a scroll to look at? Privet Drive: Little underwhelmed by the figures. The build is nicely detailed though: the stickers and tile prints are good. The opening side wall to get to the cupboard under the stairs is clever. And I think the flying Ford Anglia build is a step up from the last build of it. The tree build outside looks quite unique too. Forbidden Forest: I'm very impressed by the build of Grawp, looks a lot better than I thought he would. Great use of parts for the ears and belly button. The tree build is also cool, has a few brighter leaf pieces than we've been getting, also nice how it opens up. Also good that we get two Centaurs not just one. The others figs are pretty good too. Attack on the Burrow: The figs are a mixed bag, Bellatrix and Fenrir are a downgrade from the last burrow for me. Arthur and Molly, glad to be getting them. Finally getting Ginny and Tonks, they're okay. Harry and Ron a little plain. The build itself looks pretty sturdy, and has a good height to it. The downstairs is probably my favourite part. Really appreciate the colour variety. I think Mrs Wesley's room could've been swapped with Ron's, just so Harry and Ron could both stand in it. The fireplace and clock details are cool too. Room of Requirement: Probably the most likely set I'll get (mainly as I can't really buy the really expensive ones). The design looks perfects, love the inclusion of the board with the old order and Cedric on. The fireplace is nice, the sliding wall is awesome. Glad that we get 4 of Umbridge's decrees and the play feature is nice. The figures are probably a good way to get plain robes for year 5 characters. Kind of wish Neville was in the set, as he found the Room of Requirement (in the film). The training dummy is fun. And the Patronuses are nice and colourful as well. Clever to have the what was mirrors/glass in the film, be more blue to match the Patronuses. Hedwig: I mean, like a lot of people, it's not really my thing. But I thike how it can flap it's wings, so it isn't stationary. Like the sealed envelope. The exclusive Harry is cool too. Like how the base has the Gryffindor colours. There's something about the eyes on Hedwig that look just. A little off. But as I said, I probably wasn't going to get it anyway. But it's a good display piece. -

Yeah. I would say though that Lee Jordan has a slightly higher chance than Angelina as he does appear a little more in the films. Katie Bell I think does have a chance, it would be nice to put her in the Diagon Alley set of they do make her. -

1. Definitely not. Closest idea would be if it was based off the epilogue scene, which I highly doubt they'd make as it'd just be at platform 9 and 3/4 so the only new thing would be the figs. Or if they ever make a film of the play (which I am strongly opposed to as Cursed Child is not Canon). 2. Nope sorry, the only game I can think Lego based sets off were Overwatch and Minecraft. Also Hogwarts Mystery is an awful game IMO. 3. I do like that idea. I could imagine something like that. Maybe akin to the Lego Xtra's, have for example 4 pairs of wands, a few cauldrons, Broomsticks, crystal balls etc. -

I got that just the other day (I'm in the UK). While it's the same as Hagrid's Hut, it makes an easy way to make the time travel this act of PoA. -

I think I agree with literally everything you just said. WAG (Warner Animation Group) did incredible photorealistic animation on all four Lego movies. I'd hate to see a watered down straight to dvd quality from Illumination. As far as Shrek goes I also hate the idea of it being rebooted (especially Illumination) as the fourth film, while not perfect, ended conclusively. We don't need to see the grave of Shrek dug up. I don't know if anyone mentioned this yet, but have we seen that figures of Sirius and (Richard Harris) Dumbledore are each appearing in two different books. Also there's a book with 1st/2nd year Harry and Malfoy. The Malfoy fig might be the same as the Great Hall set but I'm not sure. -

I wouldn't be too optimistic. While yes there is the sticker for the door, but having the Ford Anglia build makes me think the rest of it is going to focus more on CoS, so I doubt we'll get many owls. Also there's only about 4 owl designs I can think of that are accessible nowadays: Hedwig, Hedwig (wings spread), Cho's owl, eye shut owl from a Lego city mini set. -

I'd hope so. If they can remember a small detail like the soldier and horse from PS, then I'm sure they can include the cake from CoS -

Interesting collection of stickers. I'm a bit surprised that it contains details from multiple stories: From Philosopher's Stone: The letters in the letterbox, the inside of the letterbox nailed up, the little grate on the cupboard under the stairs, the little soldiers and horse Harry played with. Also the picture of the Dursley's. I see we've also got a sticker for the house number 4, and one for 'Privet Drive'. Chamber of Secrets: I'm pretty sure that the one labelled number 7 was in cos, as harry had some stuff pinned up in his room when Dobby was there. And as we know we have the Flying Ford Anglia again. Prisoner of Azkaban: The little 'moving' photo of Harry's parents. Whilst I appreciate the detail, I'm n not sure if the door sticker with the envelopes will look great on display, especially if you're trying to make a scene from any of the other films, like CoS. -

Rather than a poly bag, I wonder if we could see a minifigure pack (like the one for Spider-man far from Home) with say Ron, Ginny and Percy, or something like that. -

I didn't think of that and there probably isn't a connection. But they do look quite similar to the iced cupcakes they use. (who knows maybe the chicken wrong is a reference to Ron before the Gryffindor's meet Nearly Headless Nick) -

That's exactly what I was thinking, I think it just looks really flat when it's all printed like that. Plus I think the face print is still a little bland looking. I thought this about the CMF luna though. -

I kind of agree. If they did use the more bald piece, I would definitely want a bit of printing. I think it might still look odd, as it might look a bit slicked down like Filch's did. Guess he's just a tricky character to Lego-afy. Same with Umbridge's hair in my opinion, I'm not sure it quite fits, or it could be the face printing. -

Well, Order of the Phoenix's CG is a little patchy, I always thought the Thestral's in the films looked subpar in comparison to the more blended practical and CG effects of Buckbeak. Plus it was rushed as Dumbledore vs Voldemort at the Ministery had to look amazing first. I think the films could've left Grawp out all together really. -

Wow, thanks for mentioning it. I just saw then, at first I was confused with Harry's torso, then I realised they mixed the torso and legs with Slughorn. Nice prints for the outfits, and Hermione looks so much more like herself than recent depictions, good to see the proper frizzy hair and freckles. Still kind of wish there was a new hair piece mold for Slughorn, but I admit it would be quite tricky to capture the look as it's quite thin and all over the place.
