  1. Imma wait until the grocery store hits department stores. Then I'll buy.
  2. I actually do that with my minifigs.
  3. There was also a lady with hearing aids that came in 60271.
  4. I look at it this way: To KFOLs, it's easier to play inside (reference to the roofless and sidewall free buildings). To TFOLs and AFOLs, City sets are made to be modded or make good sets for role-playing and fanfiction. So that's why I think the designers of City sets do what they do.
  5. Before you get on the correction train (that seems to be an issue with a lot of people here), I was talking about the people/person in charge of production. Not the designers themselves.
  6. Perhaps Lego finally got someone with sense to be in charge of City set production. Someone who is not afraid to take chances and tackle the smaller aspects of City life such as shops, schools, buses (we actually got two this year) and grocery stores.
  7. Ikr! That would be dreadful. Imagine building big sets with an app. I'd get an aneurysm trying to get that thing done. Paper instructions are much easier.
  8. I can't believe you guys love that weird looking passenger train. But each to their own I guess. Immediate buys for Summer 2022: the grocery store, vegetable truck (which'll act as a salad van in my town), chicken coup, farm, amusement park truck and train station (which I'm going yo convert into a road plate compatible bus terminal). May get the mission sets for pieces such as the animal molds.
  9. @Maple Actually, 1414falconfan from Instagram did say it was $70. But wink.news says it's $60. I hope wink.news is correct. But you know the unwritten rules on being hopeful in the Lego community.
  10. Where? Nah! Its $60. As far as the bus is concerned, how about something even better? Make a follow up to 60154 instead of the train station.
  11. You're kidding! $59.99 is a good price for that grocery store considering what you get. Heck, on the internet and at Wal-Mart, I can probably find it for much less. I say the set is worth it as all you really have to do is build a roof, which will be easy as pie. I do have to agree with you on that passenger train. YUCK!!!! That's why the only "train" set I'm getting or this year will be that station, only because I want the bus.
  12. Yeah! For the passenger train, I was hoping for something like this.
  13. Would you mind sending me the link pls? EDIT: Nvm! I found it.
  14. I agree! I'll pass on the trains and the missions sets. The store is my first pickup. The farm sets are coming to Mt house too. I'm only into the train station because of the bus that may be involved. I need to see pics of that one in order to decide whether the bus is good for my town or not.
  15. I'm getting that supermarket. That build is so amazing. It doesn't have a roof, but c'mon. I can add one easily from the looks of it. Immediate buy for me. This may be one of the very few City sets I get for the summer however. Not a fan of the passenger train. Too weird looking.
  16. Hey guys! A new mini people pack was revealed on Instagram.
  17. Oh. But are we going to see the passenger train, train station and grocery store in 23 hours too?
  18. Oh but please can you say that the train station is at least amazing?
  19. It might be the same one because I get a lot of my pieces off of Ebay too. I think $68 is just the right price for that set. I hardly buy from the Lego stores because that's where markups happen the most. I either go to local department stores like Wal-Mart or Target or find a great deal on eBay. I'll just say this now, the new hospital is a righteously great set. But I don't think $120 is worth it. Got mine on eBay for $90 which is a much more reasonable price for the set. I only go to the Lego stores if it's something I can't find anywhere else.
