  1. If they follow the books it will take at least three years before a CoS set will be made. By then we already forgot about the exclusive minifig. LEGO already gave us the basilisk in the great hall set.
  2. The minifig could also be Tom Riddle, he has a Superman haircut.
  3. Hahahahaha! An animated show about the first movie and just the school years, I would watch that.
  4. When Lego started 20 years ago with Lego Star Wars there wasn't a load of source material either. LEGO might do an animated LEGO potter tv-series in the future, depending on Warner Brothers. There a so many directions they can go with this theme.
  5. Let’s all make a helicopter! Maybe they get the hint and make us a hospital
  6. I see your points. I still think it could work to have a normal movie set release and do something special once or twice an year. Like for winter release a hogsmeade village winter scene or shop. It won’t affect the creator winter village line cause they have city and friends winter sets too. And perhaps release every year a shop from diagon alley or knockturn alley.
  7. I dont see why not give hp the Star Wars/marvel treatment. Just give us 8 sets every year or more. We will buy it!
  8. Don’t get me wrong, I would love a Nicolaas Flamel figure. I just hope that TLG can pull it off. French laws are different than American or English laws. On a side note: Do we already know which month the 2020 sets are coming out?
  9. All I know is commercial use of a famous person’s likeness to sell products is an infringement of the celebrity’s rights of publicity.
  10. Dont think we will get a cmf of Nicolaas Flamel. He’s a real historical person and might still have family members. We don’t even know if he died...lol!
  11. Remember that those set numbers for next year follow each other upwards. This year we had 7 sets and three different set number areas. So we might get more sets!
  12. I think it’s gonna be a very polarized set. Aimed at the American market cause I have never heard of any of the humans or the puppets named above. Sesame Street is very different in most other countries. So for me it would be just a nice new modular building. But let’s see what LEGO does with it.
  13. It looks nice but that chimney is one big eyesore. Move it to the side and make it even. If you put it at the front at least make it a feature piece. Price is nice though.
  14. Perhaps before designing or planning an D2C, do a survey/focus group test. Then you know what will sell best. People generally love buildings. Just my two cents.
  15. I think they just wanted to make a huge brick built T-Rex and ran out of the 1000 bricks after that. It does look cool. But the gate is just weird with the big plates. It’s back on insta but only the front of the box.
  16. It was only on insta this morning for a short while. Guess LEGO asked to take it off.
  17. I think there was a computer or research area in the gate. Very small but still. Every Minifig had a place inside the back of the gate.
  18. It’s not bad, it’s more for display. But a visitors center would be much better.
  19. No it’s not the LEGO ideas submission. But it does look like it. No car though! And the gate was more built like that Batman d2c house/cave, with plates vertically. There were two photos of the box. It was on legoleaks. The T-Rex had a lot of white teeth and bigger feet.
  20. I wonder what it was. It had photos of the main characters on the back of the box with their LEGO version next to it (placed in the gate areas). It were the six original characters from the first movie. Don’t be disappointed when the visitor center isn’t happening.
  21. This morning I saw on insta a photo of a Jurassic park set with the entrance gate, a brick built T-Rex and six minifigures. About 1000+ pieces. But it’s gone now. Is this the d2c set? The T-Rex looked really good. The gate had offices at the backside for the Minifigs.
