  1. So unless it has a nice discount you'd say it's not really worth it? Because I was still on the line about it, it looks good on paper (or screen) but I wanted an opinion from the physical point of view. Anyway, last purchase was a lucky find at a flea market, a used 8083 Hoth battlepack (w/o box) for 18€.
  2. To sum it up, the Finch Dallow fig is a replacement for the anonymous pilot in 75188 Resistance Bomber, but the change was completely unannounced by lego and was made on the last leg of the life of the set, when most people already bought one copy. Also, the "new" 75188 seems to be quite rare, I had no report on this forum of somebody seeing it on a shelf (the boxart was updated) so the only way to get it buying the set is to purchase one online and hope to get the Dallow version - still a gamble.
  3. Nice result overall, I still haven't bought this set (waiting for a substantial discount) but still the first thing I'd change after building it are the cannons. Can I ask what parts did you use for the tips? I recognize the 4L bar and the small dish, but then I'm not sure about the cone/icecream/original cannon setup. Okay, now that I looked a bit closer I assume it's a 6L bar with the stopper thicker thing at the top, not a 4L.
  4. Got a second 75206 Clone and Jedi Battlepack from a store and some used polybags through FB marketplace (Admiral Yularen, Clone Lieutenant and A-Wing Pilot)
  5. Directly from the Holiday Special, Chewie's Dad Private Moment with the Mind Evaporator! Includes Mind Evaporator, new Wookiee mould to fit into the VR projector, softcore actress and shady salesman with special printed brick saying "Happy Life Day". (For those wondering what I'm talking about, it's this scene. Be warned, cringe included).
  6. Hello everyone! I've been lurking around this forum for the past year and a hlaf, and finally decided to share with you my latest attempt at building something. So, last week I saw the 75206 BP 20% off at a local store and picked it up, finding myself with two mini-LAAT in the process. One of the major issues I've always had with BP is that the builds usually only seat one figure, leaving the other three to fend for themselves on foot, so I started tinkering with the pieces I had to try and build something that could carry more than one clone while keeping a Star Wars feel to the thing. After a couple of half-baked LDD tries and a physical attempt at something asymmetrical I ended up keeping the majority of the original design, adding a rear gun emplacement and space to carry the rest of the troops. So, without further ado, here is the newly christened Republic Light Troop Carrier 75206 Alternate build 75206 Alternate build As you can see the build keeps the design of the wings, engines and front. 75206 Alternate build 75206 Alternate build And here's how it looks without minifigures on. Hope you enjoy =)
  7. Hello everyone! Long time lurker, mainly a Star Wars fan, decided it was time to sign up and maybe start participating a little bit to the discussions and showcase my very little building prowess. =)
