LEGO Star Wars 2019 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

I agree, but in some of those films the ghost characters weren't as transparent (Nearly headless nick being a notable exception), and we've never gotten a force ghost before. Nor would it make sense in any of these sets, unless the ghost makes a weird appearance in a fight or something It doesn't, and I think the horn thingies are rubber, too. -
I don't think the thanos mech will operate at a similar scale to the thanos bigfig. I agree, he's probably a spider-man set or maybe in one of the "mech" sets. The head isn't black panther, for one thing, I don't know why people think that I personally don't get the resemblance and neither do others on this thread. in addition, the thanos head is almost undoubtedly from the thanos mech set, which appears to be part of a new subtheme.

Using a spoiler tag just in case, just speculation though. I'm sure we'll see them soon. D-O has to be in it as he is the cash grab of this film. -
No, they've NEVER made an ideas set as part of a theme besides minecraft, and that was retroactively done and just happened because of how well the ideas set sold. Also, name 1 marvel D2C besides the helicarrier, it's not something done often. And while there's certainly no gurentee of minifigures, you can't write them off just because they appear in normal lego sets. That's like saying these will be technic because the normal lego system is in the normal marvel and disney sets.

I think to do this well we'd need either multiple new parts or a dual-molded part. yes, a quick google search shows it is mostly black in TLJ -

I really don't like these figures. Pryde looks almost like a jedi with his tunic, cape, and lack of FO insignia, and the only new thing about kylo is his helmet, a very good print, and maybe his face?. I've never been a fan of his faceprints though, they make him look like even more of a whiny child than he is in the films. -
I'll always prefer the compound, as I feel it fits the slightly more grounded in reality MCU as opposed to the comics, where the avengers are an organization of people with enhanced abilities that mostly have their identities known and being an avenger is their job, as opposed to the silver age comics where, for example, they would all take a different mode of transport to the battle so ant man and the wasp would just hitch rides on passing commercial planes, and no one knew the true identities of most of the heroes, not even each other. So to me the compound vs the tower represents realism vs more stereotypical comics, but that's more of a personal view that has no real basis on reality. i also didn't get the 2015 tower because i thought it looked bad, and i agree that it needs a UCS style representation. Hopefully IF zebra is large buildings it does well and future waves include both these buildings.

Sith troopers, jump troopers, maybe even 2 knights of ren depending on who they want to keep behind the expensive set paywall. They've kept this one under wraps pretty well, we don't even know what vehicle/location it's supposed to be. Just to clear something up, it's priced at £54.99 according to just2good, falconfan, brick fanatics, or however that went, so you are correct in that it's not $54.99. Indeed, the pound to dollar conversion rate puts it at over $65. I have no information so i don't know ifyour list is more accurate than j2g's or falconfan's, but $39 to $65 is a pretty big difference. -

yes, from reputable sources we know this stuff, and no one is saying that speeder bike and landspeeder is the official name, but one would assume a set with the preliminary name of that will contain said items. I would assume brick fanatics and falconfan are reliable sources, and I trust their info. can we please move past this? -

That could happen too, it depends on how much screen time these guys have. exactly Um, in just2good's video on the leaked list it was "speeder bike and landspeeder" at 54.99, not sure how small that would be. I'm not sure if you have insider information or what, but if you do please share it if you can instead of just telling people that their speculation is false. Does anyone know why zorri's outfit is red instead of purple? an example of concept art being the basis for a design like 2017's first order walker, or something else? -

speeder bike and landspeeder, sorry. My claim still stands that a set named after what the trailer scene seems to represent, combined with the leaking of all figures that appear in said scene, makes me think that my "assumption" is somewhat educated and and while in no way was a confirmation, nor did i ever pretend it was. -

Thank you, I got her name mixed up with the actor who plays her. It might be coloured on the other side, but even if the cape is inaccurate it's still a solid figure. The set is named "speeder bike and skiff" A scene in the trailer contains speeder bikes and skiffs, as well as poe, jumptroopers, finn, etc, all figures that have leaked. I don't think this is a random assumption and more of an educated speculation based on the facts we have. -

Yup, and he's probably in the skiff set, the minifigures alone are making this set worth it. Yes, second sister will be the main, if not only, inquisitor in fallen order. Jannah? -

I'd say fallen order is much more likely to get at least a $30ish set. It's much more story-oriented than the battlefront games and has alot of new designs for imperials and the main cast that are 100% canon, whereas battlefront just had inferno squad. -

It is a trap. I'm not planning on buying the UCS, but already I've been had into buying the falcon, at-st, speeders, etc, which is $300 gone. Add in anything containing so much as a mandalorian or fallen order reference and marvel's new endgame sets, and I'm starting to wonder how much farther I can push my wallet. -

wow. My easy solution there was that the sets were garbage and I only bought the smallest at full price. -

Yeah, the minfigures for this at least are great and, unlike the endgame sets, accurate. If the builds are great, the only problem here is the nearly $500 price tag for the wave, hopefully a warranted one. Likely both appearing in that desert speeders set, meaning that unless the builds are garbage that's a must-buy for me.
