  1. Morbius is not rated R. Sorry if I wasn't clear, but reading back I do feel like I made the distinction that kraven wouldn't show up because he's starring in an R-rated movie.
  2. I almost think the movie will mean Kraven's odds of showing back up are going to go down. We haven't seen a wide-release deadpool since his movies, despite the fact that the character prints money and X-men are popping back up. Kraven's about to be very well-known, whether as a morbius type film or a good one, as an R-rated character.
  3. totally agree with all of this. It'll be good to get on sale, but a smaller scaled statue with a larger segment of it would have been nice, just her head looks weird. As for the figs, I've said before I'm happy to get any alternate head/hair, though they should have used other hair for Tobey. The one thing that really annoys me figure wise is goblin, who just doesn't do it for me. Hair's too dark (He's supposed to be a redhead, isn't he?), needed leg printing, and DEFINATELY needed a cloth piece, the purple print looks so weird when it just cuts off to a green arm.
  4. To be fair, the IJ set has 4 figures, this has what, 12? And it's meant for kids, not collectors, though that's no excuse for putting out a sub-par design. I'm still estatic that we're getting it at all, but I am sort of realizing that this probably delays any potential Yavin MBS by a few years at least. (Though that said, we are getting a system gunship only 2 years after the UCS one)
  5. I don't doubt that someone somewhere is claiming this, but it's definately not true. The films can make them hundreds of millions of dollars, they aren't pushing them back so lego can "catch up" on sets. (They are pushing them back, but it's definately not because of/on behalf of lego.) I cannot express how badly we need a biggs head with a visor. 3 biggs figures, 24 years, and he still doesn't have a visored head. Also like that you'd included Fake Wedge.
  6. And the "stormtrooper have bad aim" got so popular that in stuff like rebels and mando, they're shown to have bad aim. Despite the fact that in the OT, like you say, the only time they aren't effective is the death star... where they literally state that the falcon's occupants were allowed to escape to lead them to the rebel base. And at the same time, no one complained about force speed until people started complaining about force heal.
  7. Yes... this piece is in the throne room set that came out in may.
  8. A bigfig hairpiece is likely more sturdy than a minifig hairpiece, right? It's got more plastic to work with. I would assume so as well. It doesn't bother me as much as the HP collectors edition one, though, because they're at least interesting figs and characters with significant roles in the universe.
  9. Isn't that canon? They had Han roasting over a fire, I don't know what else we were supposed to draw from that. Regardless, aside from the excellent tree and leafy terrain, you made one of the best AT-ST Mocs I've seen. Bravo!
  10. Congratulations to everyone who participated, and to the winners for those excellent builds! That TIE defender is my personal favorite, it's a Jerac-level moc.
  11. I have to stop revisiting this page or I'm going to end up buying the set just to get your alt build. Unlike the actual set, this actually looks like it's worth around $550.
  12. That's me with the NWH set, though even then I'll probably wait for a sale. I'll still get the occasional small set or bricklink a fig, but I'm largely done with the MCU (Come to think of it, besides a couple mechs, my last MCU set was the 2019 hall of armor. Which tracks with Endgame being the last film-excluding NWH- that I really cared about enough to want sets for.) I did like guardians 3, but the MCU as a whole has lost my interest. None of the new projects have really invested me, save moon knight, which itself had issues. And the continuations of characters I did care about, like Thor 4, ant-man 3, and Dr Strange MoM, were pretty rough films that largely sidelined or failed to develop their protagonists in favor of introducing newer, younger characters- ones that completely failed to endear me to them. (I am terrified of what they're gonna do to Daredevil, especially after watching his episode of She-Hulk.) No, lego needs to produce a knit cap bigfig mold and send it for free to anyone who purchased either endgame final battle set.
  13. Sounds good. I was never going to get this as the MCU just doesn't grip me that much anymore, but this sounds pretty solid. Nice that Wasp is finally getting the new helmet.
  14. In general, yes, but there's what, about a year between the release of Werewolf by Night and the CMF? I'd imagine lego didn't plan on making WbN sets/marvel didn't ask them to, so they had no reason to get the concept art, or at the very least, by the time they started designing the fig the special would have been released.
  15. ...because the costume was in color, though. They didn't make every outfit in that black and white, they just filmed in black and white or put a black and white filter on it after filming. I don't think the concept art means the fig will be in color. Honestly I'm kind of hoping for Black and White, I'm sure Jack will show up again in the MCU in color, but the black and white was a really fun move for marvel and I'd love for the fig to be greyscale. (Which is the other thing. it wouldn't literally be black and white but more likely LBG/DBG/various silvers like the steamboat willie mickey figs.)
  16. Thank you, feel free to use mine, especially if you're planning on doing a physical build! (I'm worried about stability. It's definately a little fragile, but I'm hoping it's not any more fragile than the 2020-2022 marvel mechs.) Yeah, we're due an update. Ironically, while I made this because I considered the '14 version too large, but something of this size would likely sell for the same amount as the 2014 one did now given inflation and lego's own increases. Thank you! I'm pretty happy with the click hinges.
  17. Whoah, I totally missed this, but I LOVE IT! A genius idea executed pretty much flawlessly!
  18. I've never had any issues with the cloth kamas, do your cloth kamas fray? But either way, lego seems to have stopped doing them (IIRC the reason given at the time was for snowtroopers needing to sit down or something), and the current print isn't up to stuff at all, much less up to the quality of a UCS set, so I think you're right that dual-molded legs are the only solution. Hopefully lego's fixed the issues of light printing on dark plastic by this point... I don't need more vampiric Batmen or gray-skinned balaclava stormtroopers. I'm still having trouble finding the image due to half the subreddits deciding to black out or whatever, but is it even of a diorama, or just someone's palace MOC?
  19. This is almost certainly just me, but I'd kind of prefer for them to go back to that given the infinity saga stuff we've been getting. Soft relaunch with new spidey suit like in 2019, throw in some ATSV inspired figs: Miles Morales Mech ($9.99): (mechs smaller than 2023 mechs, but more articulated, like the older ones) ATSV Miles Spider-Man Mech ($9.99): New Peter Parker Spider-Man suit, McFarlene esque Green Goblin Mech ($24.99): Mech and glider for mech. Includes a new goblin figure Spider-man bike vs Kraven ($9.99, 4+): Spider-Man and a new Kraven fig Miles Morales vs Spot ($19.99): Spider-Bike (for miles), and a small reactor type thing with a Spot portal. Comes with Miles, Spot, and Gwen Venom assault ($34.99): Large Venom symbiote and a small venomized street corner. Comes with a Venom figure, an anti-venom figure, and Spider-Man Spider-Mech: Kraven's Hunt ($49.99): Peni Parker's Spider-Mech and a small jeep for Kraven. Comes with Spider-Man, Spider-Punk, Peni Parker, Kraven, and one of Kraven's soldiers. Spider-Man: Goblins attack ($69.99): Large bridge build with Green Goblin and his glider, Spider-Man, Spider-man 2099, Goblin 2099 and glider, and Mary Jane Watson. We could also get another modular, like: Oscorp ($299.99): Oscorp building, a sleek black building with lots of windows and a brick-built logo along the side. Has a lobby on the first floor, a second floor with a sort of showcase room, a third floor with a lab and goblin transformation chamber, and a fourth floor with Norman's suite and an equipment vault. Comes with Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Man India, Scarlet Spider, Spider-Punk, Silk, Norman Osborn, Harry Osborn, Harry's butler, Peter Parker, Mary Jane Watson, Flash Thompson, 2x oscorp scientist, Miles Warren, Otto Octavius, Green Goblin, Venom, Anti-Venom, Kraven, Lizard (TASM/NWH look), Electro (comics), Prowler, Electra, and Silver Sable. Edit: WOOOO, 5000th post!
  20. I think you misunderstood me. If you reread my post, it says that my walmart doesn't carry polybags, and that lego.com doesn't carry the batman 1992 or dr strange polybags.
  21. Part of my community wishlist MOC wave this year was a Naboo Fighter vs Vulture droid set, and I thought I'd show the MOC in separatist colors. In both color schemes, the droid is fully buildible with real lego elements (Though my vulture's eyes are a custom print since stud.io doesn't carry the stickered vulture droid elements, the part used does have a stickered variant with the vulture droid eyes for both color schemes) Oh, and here it is in the Trade Federation colors and in walk/patrol mode. This alternate mod can be achieved without removing or altering any parts. A couple of spring-loaded shooters are located below the main body. Let me know what you think!
  22. Thank you! That would have been a good idea, sadly this was scrapped to obtain parts for later entries. Thank you! That's how the whole moc started, as a matter of fact!
  23. It's generally just a stylistic choice with me, as the stud.io software I use has limited face prints (I also tend to leave off torso prints if there's not one very close to the design already in stud.io). Thank you! I'd love to build it in person, but I think I'll wait two years until I own a larger apartment or house, I'm about out of space as-is.
  24. I don't think Andrew's is that bad, and TBH I think that han face works fairly well for tobey, though I agree the hair was the wrong choice. That said, I again think that getting alternate hair/heads at all in a system set is great given how rarely it happens. But I agree with the wider point, the marvel theme is doing pretty poorly right now. Weird set choices, weird figure choices, odd budget allocations, etc. (That said, it could always be worse... look at DC) Assume he meant pauldron, and it's a cloth attaching at the neck. In english Cauldron and Pauldron are the same aside from the first letter, so I wonder if that's what they meant to say. (Pauldron as in cloth on shoulder) Oliver clearly was supposed to be quiver.
  25. I don't want to drag us even farther off topic but I'm just gonna add that for how pretentious you're acting, you quoted me saying there was "a chance" the film was cancelled and then said I literally made the argument that the film was most likely cancelled. Those are two completely different things. Again, not wanting to drag us farther off topic, but my guess is DC didn't want to further sully their films with garbage. By all accounts batgirl was gonna play on the same field as morbius, and that film's accurately made it so almost no one will go watch Kraven or El Muerto (though El Muerto is a different story, being a spin-off for a character in 2 issues of a comic in 2006 and that's it. I think it's the first superhero film where I didn't know who the main character was upon hearing of it) To be on-topic, while I haven't been to target since the polybag allegedly released and my walmart doesn't carry polybags, so I hadn't bothered checking it either, I had assumed lego.com carried them.... it does not. Nor does it carry the marvel Dr.Strange polybag. A quick bricklink search seems to show that the polybag has released in germany, given a number of sellers there have it for less than or equal to it's US cost, but with only one US seller (and for $30), I assume it hasn't yet made it to the states.
