I really hope Spider-Man 3 has some of the best Marvel builds. I agree this can potentially become one of the most exciting LEGO waves of all time.

Watch LEGO be the first one to reveal something about Spider-Man 3 just like they did with Eternals haha. I think Spider-Man 3 will get 4-6 sets (not sure it’s just a guess). The rest of the summer wave could either be comics Avengers again (please no more Square Enix variants) or Disney+ sets?

That’s good. Like I said I much prefer getting Disney+ sets first before we get those characters in the cmfs.

Watching the first 2 episodes of WandaVision makes me want tie-in sets even more. Whether Daredevil comes in a Spidey 3 set or not will entirely depend on how big of a role he’ll play. For me, I’d be happy if all we get is a Matt Murdock figure.

They need to eventually give us an accurate Thanos but I agree he doesn't seem to fit in a CMF.

Black Widow I can see on Disney+, Shang-Chi will 100% stay theatrical. It's one of the most anticipated movies of the year, and Disney will likely anger a lot of Asian Marvel fans if they make their first Asian superhero film a streaming film (as an Asian person myself, I wouldn't be happy if Shang-Chi becomes a streaming movie). I wouldn't say anything definitive about Black Widow just yet because it comes out in May. I think a Disney+ announcement, if there is any, will likely come closer to that date. I don't think the news about Chris Evans returning is a distraction to deal with the delays. His return was inevitable, and they probably revealed it now to make everyone excited about Phase 4 before WandaVision releases tomorrow. These are all great ideas! I personally want an Avengers compound because it's such an important MCU location yet we only got 1 set that came with it.

Completely agreed. We all want X Men and F4 sets ASAP but we must realize that LEGO likely won’t make them until their MCU movies come out, especially considering how poorly the previous X Men sets have sold.

A tournament set with Shang Chi, Wenwu, Razor Fist, and the other sorcerers and warriors rumored for the movie? That’ll become one of the best selling sets of the year

Both Shang-Chi sets are quite small ($30 and $40). My speculation is that the $30 one will be a small shrine or ancient Chinese structure, while the $40 one will be Fin Fang Foom. There's a rumor that Shou-Lao may be in Shang-Chi. I'll be a very happy person if the $30 one turned out to be Fin Fang From and the $40 one is Shou-Lao. My money is on Spider-Man 3. It's most likely a set recreating that film's final battle.

I think we'll get a D+ Zemo. If that Daredevil rumor in Spiderman 3 is true we might get him too.

I hope that $150 set is a Daily Bugle tower or even better... the Oscorp tower from TASM (if it gets transported to the MCU as well).

I’d prefer Disney+ sets over Disney+ characters being exclusive to CMF. Sets are overall cheaper as 2 CMF figs can already cost us $10.

Also, just to prepare myself for possible disappointment, I'm prepared for the worst outcome - a comic CMF or a Square Enix CMF

I know this is an unpopular opinion but I wish we could still get Disney+ sets instead of just CMF minifigs for those shows. This CMF I hope gives us missing variants like Endgame Cap and Ronin from previous MCU films.

So Deadpool is confirmed to be in the MCU and rated R... If lego does not use the 18+ theme properly and give us Deadpool sets I’ll be extremely frustrated

As a person who buys sets after the movie releases, I’m very scared about that helicopter set retiring before I can get it. The release of the SDCC sets this year really shows how LEGO does not do enough when it comes to preventing scalpers from taking advantage of the system.

Well Far From Home also came out in July but the sets had a March/April release. Edit: forgot which exact month it was

Can confirm that no such images exist, at least from the January 2021 catalog I have received. The only “new” Marvel sets from the catalog are the Eternals ones, which were already leaked. That said, I do wish we see the actual Shang-Chi sets soon.

It doesn't bother me personally, since I tend to buy movie sets after I see the movie. However, I feel like I may be the only person who purchases sets like that. It's weird because no release date was even teased in the catalog.
