  1. yes im definitely looking forward for more examples. maybe someday im gonna buy some rollercoaster track and start with them too.
  2. nice steam loco. XGBC
  3. I could further nit pick that the lego monorail isnt an actual monorail because the vehicles arent wider than the track of it. See also: http://www.monorails.org/tMspages/WhatIs.html XGBC
  4. i think i have solved this problem now. now we have a extra thread for rollercoaster based trains so nobody posts coaster based trains in our monorail forum anymore. XGBC
  5. Hello Guys i thought i would open a Thread where you could show all your rollercoaster track based systems. This is a list of every lego rollercoaster train builders flickr, youtube and brickshelf accounts: JK Brickworks: https://jkbrickworks.com/roller-coaster-train/ https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCUaiGrBfRCaC6pL7ZnZjWbg Assembeld: https://zusammengebaut.com https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCQ6ONDG_QiSfQsdb0hwscGg This list will be updated if i find the time to do so.
  6. that would be really nice to have since the old one from the 3677 red cargo train is a bit different i think. XGBC
  7. looks really good! Especially the santa fe one. XGBC
  8. ok ive found another solution and im using mecabrichs now. XGBC
  9. you could try and do a calibration with the lowest possible battery voltage and then with the highest to work out the relation between the two. XGBC
  10. i have built a 4 wide monorail car: http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/450677 XGBC
  11. Has anyone got suggestions for a good app wich is like lego digital designer just for android because my pc died last week and now im using an Android tablet with android 7 on it. XGBC
  12. ok thank you guys ive heard from it in the trains subforum (powered up teardown) . XGBC
  13. yes ive been trying that too but so far i did not suceed so i asked you as a more experienced monorail builder to try that. XGBC
  14. i ve already seen this and i also think it is cool but i would prefer a more sturdy solution like 3d printing the adaptor. XGBC
  15. i have an idea for you you could try to make a 4 wide monorail (snot panels are also allowed). XGBC
  16. this looks really cool but how about covering the weels of the last wagons up also. XGBC
  17. looks really realistic despite its size. do you still make monorails? XGBC
  18. i am hoping that they would bring out more trains after that. Maybe (hopefully!!!) they will bring out extra wagons aswell although i dont beleive in the last one really XGBC
  19. I like these weel sizes too because i've been looking to get into the narrow gauge side of things but the weels should be with a cross axle hole for easy connecting to motors.
  20. sadly i dont have time to check in the next few weeks sorry but i will do it when i find some time XGBC
  21. has anyone held the new technic electrical components in ther hands or has anyone got some pictures of them ive heard that it would feature a 4 port powered up hub. however i dont know the dimensions/style of the hub and motors. XGBC
  22. even if it has a speaker it could be that only the sounds of the technic models are prgrammed in the microcontroller and you cant change them but i think thats extremly unlikely. hopefully we get a freely programmable internal speeker and it would be really cool if you could like make different sounds at different motor speeds XGBC
  23. yes of course: https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCxzKb9v2WeOR0W71-Xu79hg have fun XGBC
  24. ok that explains it all XGBC
  25. i sadly cant give you an example because i havnt got mindstorms ev3 robot right now but basicaly what you need to do is you need to put two "start" blocks in your program and have one for moving the robot and another one for meassuring the temperature. i can try and write something for you tomorrow.
