  1. I consider 'using the force' cheating, so I'll take that... Thanks a lot!
  2. That entrance is so interesting and ominous! Takes me back to Zeffo in Jedi: Fallen Order... There are a few details that bug me. Like if you cannot get the ground level and the plates on the sides to level - don't bother with plates on the sides... Then I'd just put a frame around the build... Part of what makes the plate-on-the-side technique look so good, is when it levels out perfectly... Imo at least... A little bit of the same with the pathway (which you've done really well), but the end facing the camera, where I can see the gap in the bottom of the bricks, is a little messy... I hope you don't take the criticism to harshly - it's just with a good build like this, the small things stand out... AND! Even though the building is simple, it is really brutally beautiful...
  3. Nice! My yellow building seems like a ripoff now that you got this posted first! Haha! 😂 I love the asymmetric things you have going on here, and the curved roof edge really gives it a futuristic feeling... I almost feel this belongs in a Luc Beson film...
  4. This is really cool - and a welcome fresh entry. I wish you had added one silhouette to hammer the SW universe through - like a TIE fighter in the sky, or an AT-AT on the ground? ;)
  5. Good ground work - I feel you're mastering this technique pretty well by now... A few minor bugs, like some gray showing beneath a cheese slope, and the light-blue with the two small pipes... Other than that I love it, and really appreciate the different levels...
  6. That's such an interesting brick-use - must have some significance as to why it looks like that... Sound-proofing, grenade resistant... I miss a little storytelling here... ;)
  7. This is one of your better entries... The ship and the landscape is well done!
  8. The idea and creativity in this build is brilliant... I just wish that the build had filled out the T-shaped visor to the sides as well...
  9. Really interesting build! I think this build is a testament to 'looking into your bin with yellow bricks and using all of them'... You walk the line of over-the-top use with the heads and the hands, but you end up with a refreshing new thing I'd never expect... Good work...
  10. Nice! This is also a little reminiscent of Firefly!
  11. *Your entry has earned 16 XP* The Bright Red Demon was the name of a podracer. A legend to many Outer Rim circuits before the Clone Wars... A century later... Cpt. Markland and her shadow trooper escort stumbled upon an old podracer in a forgotten imperial warehouse on Gorse... /// Some more shots below...
  12. *Your entry has earned 34 XP* Excerpt from Cdr. Bannon’s log: More was happening on Devaron, than I was led to believe. So naturally that's where my orders took me next. I had dispatched a band of bounty hunters a week earlier, to root out unsanctioned New Republic mercenaries. It seemed the hunt had been successful. Some time later on Devaron, on the outskirts of the city Plaeree… Zan Shysa: Cdr. Bannon! These scum are the only ones we could bring back alive. Djina and I killed another two while engaging the encampment, and another one had to be put down enroute back to the city. Cdr. Bannon: Ah Miss Shysa! You continue to deliver! *Commander Bannon nods to his one of his troopers* Cdr. Bannon: Have the prisoners sent to my ship. I will see to the interrogation personally. DT-F88: Yes Sir! /// This was supposed to be a quick little moc, but I ended up really falling in love with the house... I'm especially fond of the doorway! Below are some more details of the moc...
  13. The platform is a bit meh, but WHOA that miner is epic! I get a Dead Space/Outland/Bioshock vibe from him which is crazy cool...
  14. An LTC will have the limits written if any - so for this LTC you can make as many entries as you want, but remember Quality over Quantity! ;)
  15. Ah... You noticed... It's from this dude: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?M=cty1094#T=S&O={"iconly":0} If you like the front, you'll LOVE the back... It has a red falcon, much like the alliance star bird... ;) I'm planning to use this guy more as a Correlian much like Dash Rendar or Han Solo...
  16. @Ross Fisher @marvelBoy123 Yeah - this is where I've 'cheated' a little. I've cut a grey droid arm in two - it fits perfectly, and you're able to rotate it like a regular hand. Thanks guys 🙏 ! @MKJoshA Yeah I've seen you use those trunk bricks as well. I reckon we'll see them in many more forest/jungle builds going forward...
  17. Thanks guys! 🙏 It's the torso from Clone Commander Gree: https://brickset.com/minifigs/sw0528/clone-commander-gree-(gray-lines-on-legs) Thanks man! That means a lot to me! 🙏
  18. Thanks guys! 🙏 I imagine he has salvaged them from a stormtrooper he killed. Maybe a fleshed out story would make it better? I thought it fitted well with the. small black ripped cloth line on the torso...
  19. Transparent colors are okay as accents, edges and supporting colors like shades or highlights, but the LTC states that one of the primary colors must be the one that is featured in a major way. That should make it clear that if you want to build a blue sea build you should user more classic Blue than trans blue...
  20. Depending on the era I guess hair wouldn't really grow in those conditions... ;)
  21. I really like the aesthetic of this build - of course - it's imperial ;) There's a few details I would have done different, e.g. the numbers on the floor is a bit to earthly for me - could be closer to the aurebesh version. The beams used for the walls, are a nice touch - I'm saving those for a similar project, but they fit the roof beams of an imperial hangar better imo. It also is a bit repetitive. Last thing I'd change is the stairs of the scaffolding - it's designed for duplo figures? The Tie Bomber is really really cool - a bit disproportioned, but it is super impressive that you got that done in two weeks...
  22. This is amazing! I'm missing a little more Star Wars atmosphere, like props seen in the films etc. I feel that if I changed all the figs with Harry Potter figs, that would be more in universe? Anyways - that doesn't take away from the creativity and quality of this build! 10 points for Gryffindor!!!
  23. The tractor is pretty cool - I like the concept. Your base is a bit rough, but you know that... :P
  24. Well, thank you! I like the red lighting in this build... Maybe one or two stickers could be left out - you went a little all in? ;)
