  1. Really nice, this is definitely some of your better landscaping - the colour transitions are particularly good on this one. The figures are also great - especially the one on the right. One small suggestion I would make with the landscaping is trying to use more 1 wide slope rather than those that 2 wide - while I think the larger flat areas fit with the background of this build, 1 wide slopes help to create a more varied realistic landscape for some other settings. A really nice build for the figbarf overall!
  2. A somewhat simple build but really effective, the snow shaping looks very organic and the hatch is great too!
  3. That design for the wings works really well. Really like the SNOT techniques to create the different shapes!
  4. No need for us to waste death star tech on that, we have Private Joka on your case
  5. Really nice build! The landscaping is nice but the explosions and lighting are what really gives such a great atmosphere.
  6. Awesome build and nice to see a more ruthless move from the Faction - traitors will not be tolerated!
  7. Nice build! I must admit I am still not keen on the landscape, it is not so much the large smooth areas but the fact that there are also really rough areas as well (the snot section on the bottom layer and the top area with lots of exposed studs) to me this contrast seems really unnatural in a landscape but I would be interested to see photos of which you based the landscape - sometimes it is easier to see the effect when you know what it is meant to look like. That said, the cragmoloid is really good (getting such organic shapes on a creature is something I know I find very hard so good job on that), the minifigures look brilliant and the water and flags create a really cool atmosphere.
  8. As Ross Fisher said, really nice to see a mechanism within the build!
  9. Thanks, definitely fun to build something more circular for once. I have tried to add red into the maw area now but it doesn't look right sadly I couldn't find any tentacles that might make it work either. That said I am still relatively happy with it and the idea is maybe a concept I can work on in the future...
  10. Love the lava and those mustafarians look great!
  11. Awesome build, very dark and atmospheric!
  12. Thank you for such detailed feedback - it is always nice to see people spot the little details. As a somewhat squeamish person myself I would rarely consider using blood in a major way in my builds but I figured it would be interesting to really focus on that for my horror build and I am glad you like the results. Another Keshiri head which works even better is the Thanos one from the mech set but I am saving that for some point in the future. I definitely agree that some kind of extra torture accessory could have added an extra something - I just wasn't quite sure where in the build to put it. Legs are one of my favourite lego pieces and I often try and get them into my builds: this door is one of my favourites but they also work well for landscaping, roofs and windowsills!
  13. A really nice build! I wonder if there are slightly too many colours (both tans, both greys, white and brown seems maybe a little too much for my taste) but the build, techniques and presentation are great!
  14. Thanks for the feedback, I definitely agree that it could do with red instead of tan in the maw area, it was something that bugged me even when I was building it but a complete swap would unfortunately show in the layers of rock on the outside. Hopefully I can do something about that when I add tentacles...
  15. *Your entry has earned 7 XP (x2 for limited challenge)* The Triumvirate Inquisition - Personal notes of Admiral Gable Karius: After Uogo'cor, a number of the pirates fled to Sneeve with them and a number of other groups terrorising the locals. The Sneevels had not been fond of the old empire, but they knew that there was nobody else who could help them and so reluctantly asked the Triumvirate for help. The sector had been something of a success story for the Triumvirate who had managed to bring law and order to Deysum and Uogo'cor already - two notoriously dangerous planets. As head of the Inquisition, I took control of managing the operation - a good thing as my interrogation expertise were required to capture the pirate stronghold. Target: Name: Erkus Kzam Species: Keshiri (male) Occupation: Pirate Crimes: Affiliation to terrorist groups, theft of property, disturbing the peace, resisting arrest Recommendation: Interrogation followed by termination (to be handled personally by myself) Well, I took the creature to one of the Triumvirates interrogation centres and we had a friendly conversation, he would have been able to leave the place (minus a few limbs) had he told me quickly what I wanted to know but alas he did not. The mess I had to make to get that man to talk... that said, a little water cleared me of the deed and I had a stormtrooper standing by to handle the full clean up. The intel would be enough to make a decisive move against the pirates and hopefully win the trust of the Sneevel population. As ever I appreciate your feedback!
  16. Glad you like it, the head seemed like the perfect choice - interesting being able to use the reverse of a head given the species lack of eyes!
  17. Thanks, tentacles is a good idea - I will see if I can add some in time for the deadline...
  18. Nice, some good rock work and the micro facility is good too!
  19. *Your entry has earned 9 XP (x2 for limited challenge)* Following New Republic sanctions on training new stormtroopers, the Triumvirate had a brilliant and totally original idea: Brainwashing and training youths to become loyal soldiers for the cause. The 'Triumvirate Youth' organised activities designed to promote military skills and values in its young citizens and different Triumvirate sectors formed their own divisions. The 71st Carida troop had been on an expedition to old imperial prison world of Kalist VI. A night hike had however gone somewhat wrong when two of the children had sent out a distress signal. It appeared as though they had become trapped in some sort of creature which vaguely resembled a sarlaac. Troops had to be sent out under the supervision of Camp Commander Hert to rescue the children. It could easily have been considered simply a careless mistake if that had been the only strange occurrence on that camp but alas it was not....
  20. Awesome, really like the Trans-neon green gives a very spooky feel!

  22. Amazing build, the expressions and positioning are perfect!
  23. Amazing build, the containers look great and the landscape is amazing - love how you have integrated the blood in it!
  24. Awesome build, definitely captures the coruscant vibe!
  25. Nice, another very atmospheric build coming from this challenge!
