Bought it in the sale. I’ve been meaning to pick it up so I’m happy to finally get it.

Whilst I would have preferred something with a mini fig I actually think the GWP looks quite good

Ordered the book nook the other day, £79.99 on Amazon UK which seemed a more reasonable price for it.

Are we still expecting this 12th September?

I took the hit and ordered Jabba’s sail barge (UK). 15% off, the GWP and some nectar points was too big an opportunity to pass up.

If anyone follows Jay’s Brick Blog on Twitter he has photos of some of the sections of the tower stacked together to elongate it. Looks pretty good. Think I’ll looking into Bricklinking the relevant parts rather than buying two copies 😆

Well that wave makes a lot more sense now. I’m not sure I’ll buy any of the sets (I may get Jedi Bob) but I have to say that I like that Lego are trying something different with this wave.

He was on one more than once in Rebels too. Even if he doesn’t set foot on one in the OT, I don’t think it’s that big a leap for Lego to include him given it’s a big imperial based set.

I’m happy about that being a Smyths exclusive. I’ve never paid full price for a set from there.

That’s all the proof I need it’s going to happen.

I like it. Couldn’t have been better? Sure. Is there enough in there for me to be excited for it? Definitely.

I’ve just bought a bunch of the purple clones at about £10 per clone, so that pretty much guarantees they will come in the magazine at some point 😆🙈

On the plus with the skiffs being in a separate set, and it having few figures then for the price the barge should hopefully be incredibly detailed. Absolutely nothing to base it on but it wouldn’t surprise me if they’re holding some of the figures back for a different set in the future, another Jabba’s palace or something. Why sell one set with everything in, when you can sell three!

I never said they were catering specifically for me, which would be a ridiculously stupid thing for any one to think. I also never questioned why they were making it (in fact I specifically said it wasn’t surprising). I also didn’t criticise anyone’s who excited about the news, or who likes the show, because my view on it shouldn’t impact anyone else’s enjoyment of it. I only stated my opinion, which I’m entitled to, and expressed a preference for one set I’d like to see from it and then answered a follow up question. Wanting to see something you’d enjoy isnt an argument, it’s a preference. Every single one of us will have a preference over what shows or sets we want to be produced. It’s incredibly antagonistic and toxic to have a go at someone because they have a different opinion to you.

Because it’s time / effort / money / resources dedicated to it that could be used for something else. So it’s disappointing.
