After 21 days since it's released, I finally got my copy of the Black Pearl. This was my last set to complete my PotC-sets. And I must say they did a great job to make the ship appealing to AFOLS and kids. The only problem is space. This 1st 'wave' takes all my space on the shelves

It somehow reminds me of the first Assassin's Creed game. Very nice atmosphere indeed!

I ordered the pearl on the 2nd of November from the official LEGO website and I still didn't receive mine... Is it normal that it takes more than 2 weeks to deliver the goods?

This Two-face looks like the Tommy Lee Jones version. He looks Zombie-ish Hope we get a Riddler that is inspired on the Jim Carrey-version. I don't care if he has his bowlerhat or pink hair!

Went to the shop today. Yes I know again... This time I ask the shopkeeper if it's in their stock. He hadn't heard of the set nor had they info on when it would be available. Since I can't wait any longer I ordered it from Lego.com and fetched me a Jack Sparrow Keychain as well ! Hopefully they will deliver it by the end of the week.

Still not available here and since it's Halloween, All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day, I'll wait until the 5th of November to look if it's delivered.

Has anyone seen the Pearl in European stores yet, except in the UK?

Just received an e-mail from my Belgian toyshop: "De doos LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean the Black Pearl 4184 zit spijtig genoeg niet in het assortiment van Dreamland. Het is op dit moment ook nog niet mogelijk om deze doos met referentie 4184 te bestellen. Met vriendelijke groeten, Klantendienst Dreamland" It basically says that the set isn't in their catalogue and they say I can't even order it at the moment.

It's not in available in Belgium either I contacted the toyshops to inform me about the date of release but none of them answered.

Just mailed some toyshops (in Belgium) to get more details on the releasedate of the Black Pearl. I assume that if they release it here, it will be available throughout Europe. Hoping to get a mail from them very soon!

Thanks for the review! This should ease the waiting for me. I hope it releases in Europe very soon. (prays for next week )

I'll mail Dreamland tomorrow to ask for an official release date. I'm not planning to go to the store everyday. They might become suspicious.

For those who can't wait for a review, There's alrdy one I must say that the deck looks much better than I expected it to be...

The BP is 8 studs smaller than the QAR to be exact.

I read that the official release is on the 24th of October. Any chances it will be on the shelves a week or two earlier?

Still no sign of Black Pearls in toyshops here...
