    If your budget and playing time (I am an adult) is for one set only and their prices are the same here, which one will you pick? I have been thinking and hesitating for weeks and can't make up my mind.

    Things I like about 10260 Downtown diner - Three floors - Design of the ground floor. Things I hate about 10260 - The pink car, which doesn't match other vehicles very well, a waste of pieces IMO. - The big pink "Diner" logo, which doesn't look good, I will remove it, another waste of pieces too.

    Town plan?

    The maximum area of place I can have for my lego town is 150cm x 50cm, since I am living in a small city too What do you think I can put to create my small town? Should I avoid road plate and use something otherwise instead? Any suggested plan

    I don't mean Lepin, where you can easily distinguish, I would like to know if there is any case or hearing about 1:1 fake Lego? I know that there isn't in my country, but I don't know about EU, there are a lot of EU countries and people and is there any 1:1 fake Lego sold or manufactured there? (Some thieves used my thread to misunderstand people, so I am here to edit to clarify to make it more clear and avoid thieves)

    I had similar tray made in Taiwan, it had strong unpleasant plastic smell and I returned it. Hope yours not smelly $30 for this guy????? Living in USA is really difficult. In Asia it's probably less than $10 for something similar.

    How did they create the coastline ? and what LEGO did they use to create the beach in pale brown color? Looks like there is no brown base plate... The video is not close enough

    The best way now is to keep the minifigures clean and free from grease and moisture better will i be able to request for free replacement from the local LEGO main distributor when the mini-figure cracks after a year of two

    Sorry I was wrong. I just checked, it was 6086, not a boat or ship. The most memorable large set I got as a present in those time, I remember clearly that it was sold at 800 of our country currency, approx. equiv. to $100 something usd dollars

    30 years ago, value of $1 is not equal to now due to inflation. However, I find that the price of different Lego sets could sometimes, yes sometimes even cheaper than those times, I remember in around 1992 my parents bought me a pirate boat set which contained approx. 500 pieces cost $100 but today in 2019 I don't see any set here in my country with 500 pieces would cost that high $100. Today people are getting higher salary while being more mean, Lego won't sell if they rise up the price so the only way for them to survive is to cheap out the production cost. Please be understanding.

    Are the size for road plate the same as the green/blue/grey single color plate?

    what does it mean? Does it mean the diagonal length of the road plate is 25cm? What is the length of each side?

    At the outer side of my Lego city, I would like to make a "sea" and a "beach", what do you use as a "sea" and the beach , blue plate only? Any other ideas?

    How to sort sets with a large number of bricks? While not too detailed, not too rough though. It would take too long to be too detailed, but not really useful being too rough Should I sort by color or size, shape? What's your advice

    @Capparezza Hi, I shopped around and found this set, it was pretty great value, only approx usd 19 here, but I can't see the reason of getting this. It's difficult to be compatible with my Lego city and the other modular buildings unless I am doing a lego city full of mountains and hills. For the Creator 3in1 series, I like 31026 31036 31065 and 31068, I've got all of them reasons are simple, they are more "compatible" to style of other buildings

    In fact, none of the Expert modular buildings I feel 100% or even 80% satisfied. There are something I like, but something I hate. Do you guy modify the outlook of your modular buildings? Any pictures of your work or tips on doing this?
