Looks like in the past Lego used less bricks but the overall impression is it's bigger. I had 6380 in my childhood which is still impressive today in my opinion, I was so attracted to those buildings in those time. But now, the different police stations and fire stations today do not attractive to me so much, I'd rather use the budget for the Expert building. Do you have the same feeling?

Data I found on web -- dimension of the track is 73cm x 101cm I'd like to know, if I can reduce the track size and the train still runs correctly? 73cm is too big for my available area.

Regardless of any theme, what was the lowest price per piece you've ever got or found in the market and what was the set number? I don't mean the price from kinds of deals or sales that may last only a few hours or a lot of people fighting or queuing up for many hours to purchase one or two item , but kind of deals that should last at least a few days and the supply is not too tight. approx. USD $0.049 per piece is the lowest price I saw a set

Why are so many Bricklink sellers from the Netherlands?
ks6349 replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I once paid the original price but got the pirated DVDs from an online shop shipped from the Netherlands. They then ignore my email. It was the only but the worst experience I had with anything about the Netherlands -
Is it common to find a plastic bag torn open in a new set?
ks6349 replied to nana's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Yes you are right. Every one of us should report to Lego whenever there is any problem in hope of pushing Lego to improve their quality control. Also to find out ways of preventing parts of new sets from being stolen and then it is resealed perfectly -
Carousel 10257 - selling for £124.99 on John Lewis!
ks6349 replied to brickmeistro's topic in LEGO Town
10257 Carousel has a proportional problem with other Expert sets like 10247 and 10261. When 10257 put near 10247 or 10261, it's too big, I have been to many real fairgrounds but I think 100% of them have a Ferris Wheel much taller and bigger than the Carousel. 10247 is big enough now, good enough, so I think 10257 is too big compared to even all other Expert buildings. I hope there will be smaller Carousel next time -
Now here 200 bucks for new set of 10255. Is it good time to get this set now What hesitates me is actually the brown building with the blue triangle top, it's not my taste. I don't like this design very much.

we often talk about retired set, how about retired brick? Compared to 80s or early 90s, can you suggest a few types of bricks that were commonly used but now retired? Are there any substitution now? I only know that a lot of baseplates are different now. I am thinking about building up old sets for memories but I don't want to purchase second-handed bricks.

You can block me if you hate seeing me raising up questions. I also do not like seeing your unfriendly and sometimes arrogant replies for long. Have you ever tried using the heat of hair dryer to open the box?

Roller Coaster Looping (10261 modification)
ks6349 replied to Donald's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I'd like to take this chance to ask On youtube I saw somebody create a modified roller coaster that was made up of 6 sets ! The modification was so awesome! In fact, I won't do this because of money and time, but I want to try 2 sets to create a bigger roller coaster. Is there anyone who has already tried to make a modification of using 2 sets? I personally do not have any experience on modification. I almost always build according to the instruction book. Any advice?? -

Today a shopping mall here has "limited time offer" for some models of new Lego. 60210 is sold at approx. USD 53 Do you think it's a great deal for presents or like getting bricks for other use ? On condition that I personally do not like City theme too much

Hi all I'd like to know, was there any Expert sets or similar scale set of Ferris Wheel (10247) and Roller Coaster (10261). I don't mean the smaller version like those from Creator 3in1 And approximately when were they first released? Thanks a lot.

The proportion. I think different parts of the whole design has "proportional" problem. For example, the "car stock" should not be as large as the "roof" thing of the center. Sorry My English is not good

In my area, Ferris Wheel (which was one of my target on list) is recently out of stock and the price has risen quite a lot, I checked and found that it was only released in mid 2015 while there are still plenty of stock for 10243 (PR) and the price even drops but it was first released in early 2014. I also found on Google that different Expert sets last different length of time (the fastest could be only 2 years). Why was that?

what is the price now in July 2019 ? for experienced players, do you think the price will have another drop sooner or later or is already saturated at its lowest now? can this set (roller coaster) carries led light like ferris wheel
