  1. Really wish they would've used the time twins to send the ninja really far back in time. Give the theme a feudal Japan kind of look and feel for a wave or 2.
  2. It's Guard, not Buard Makes a lot more sense. As for the ninja: I really like the new scuba gear pieces but the new head and torso prints look terrible.
  3. The more recent comic redesigns are heavily inspired by Hugo Weaving's live-action incarnation of the character so it might just as well be an MCU figure. But let's not turn this into an argument like last year because we know everyone has a different idea of what this figure is based on.
  4. Like I've said before, I don't have any info on the D2C besides the stuff I put out months ago.
  5. Scrooge and Tiny Tim (or whatever his name is) both received exclusive faceprints that have yet to be reused.
  6. I'm actually not sure I'd say the new Hogwarts sets look better together than on their own. It's very much subjective of course but from what I've seen of the combo I'm not impressed.
  7. Wow, this is an amazing build! I love how everything came together, from the museum itself to the ice and the characters.... I love it! The Brontosaurus and frozen security guard are probably my favorite parts of the MOC, they're ingeniously designed
  8. Probably not the safest bet If we get a Gauntlet the normal one is much more likely.
  9. Not gonna lie, I'd buy a $300 AoS set.
  10. If we get a $300 Enix set I'll be getting my torch and pitchfork out of storage and plan a trip to Billund
  11. If the D2C is indeed comic based as Falconfan implies I would be genuinely surprised if it's not Spidey-related.
  12. Honestly I wouldn't be too upset if this new Hogwarts style carried over into 2022 and beyond as long as the interiors are good. The only thing I'd really want them to change is the excessive use of large panel and frame pieces. The main Hogwarts set uses at least 10, the Fluffy set 6 and the bathroom 2 (that we can see from these prelims).
  13. Same, very early on I decided not to buy any comic based sets to keep my spending in check. Regardless of how good/bad this set is I just can't see myself buying it. Well it's pretty obvious what he meant.
  14. It's certainly iconic but I wouldn't say it's $300-LEGO-set-iconic, wouldn't even necessarily say that about an MCU Gauntlet.
  15. Falconfan is as reliable as they come so it's definitely not an MCU set. And without that MCU-context I'd say the Infinity Gauntlet is highly unlikely.
  16. They're doing a very poor job keeping things under wraps for S14, it's really killing my interest.
  17. Considering the time in between those 2 waves was only a year I doubt that. LEGO sets usually take around a year to be designed and in order to replace FB sets they'd also have to know how well the first sets sold. Then there's also the matter of new pieces. The Beauxbatons Carriage alone came with 5 new minifig prints, a pair of dualmolded legs in new colors, a brand new hair/hat mold and several recolored pieces for the carriage itself. If the wave originally consisted of FB sets these 2 HP sets would've had to be developed unreasonably fast and likely wouldn't have the budget to introduce so many new things.
  18. Yule Ball Dumbledore is just a stand-in and will definitely get changed for the final product. The round structure Tom is standing in is the CoS entrance, it looks a bit weird but the door is attached to that small sidebuild and not the main castle.
  19. The Harry Potter theme has been a big hit during the past 3 years, if the first wave where they try something new and different performs poorly they should be able to put 2 and 2 together and conclude that it wasn't a very smart decision to change things up. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
  20. For me personally per set it's the following: Bathroom - pretty much only the figures, given that they're the normal jumpers and not the Hogwarts Moments ones. Fluffy - Fluffy himself is solid and the Hogwarts build is a fairly decent partspack. Hogsmeade - just fantastic all around. Hogwarts - amazing figure selection and a pretty great Basilisk. The build, like the Fluffy set, is a decent partspack. I think it's a mix of a lack of expected Deathly Hallows set and the quality of the builds (albeit preliminary) being lower than we're used to. The August wave being very disappointing as well (going off the limited info/warnings me and Falconfan have been able to share) certainly doesn't help the June wave either.
  21. They're from 4867 from 2011 EDIT: ninja'd
  22. Not sure if it's a hot take but I agree nonetheless. I already have 4 of the normal Hagrids and 1 YB version so unless it's a new variant like his Care of Magical Creatures outfit I'm really not interested in more Hagrids.
  23. I know Lloyds master arc was kinda abandoned in the show for whatever reason but I'd much rather see him as the master of the new team. Have Wu die in-between shows from old age.
  24. Not that weird considering those sets sold very poorly.
