Jurassic World 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
lego_guyon02 replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Got a bit curious as to what might be possible for the $30 set so I worked out a concept model in Stud.io, using exactly 198 pieces (the Rex is there because the program doesn't have Velociraptor pieces so I just put enough pieces in there to keep to the piece limit). $30 - T.Rex Fossil Escape - 198 pieces Figures: Kenji, Darius and Yaz Dinosaur(s): Blue Accessories: flashlight, flare, Jurassic World park map, compass and Darius' Field Guide Builds: old scaffolding, a destroyed T.Rex skeleton lying on top of the old "When Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth" banner and two destructable pillars This is by no means a leak/info/hint whatsoever, just a fun little thing I wanted to do. -

Not to mention that the figures and dinosaur parts also count towards the 198 pieces total. -

Most print defects I've encountered in recent years are smudged prints. Though one odd defect I came across back in 2011 was receiving a Will Turner head where 1 side of the face was missing sideburns. -

The thing is that you stated without warning that Green Goblin would be the main villain of the movie, which is a fairly new rumor many people hadn't heard about yet. Last year there was a similar discussion on the Star Wars thread regarding Ahsoka and Boba Fett's appearances in The Mandalorian Season 2, in which I also expressed my opinion that rumors that have been reported by giant media outlets like Hollywood Reporter, Deadline, IGN or Fandom should be considered fair-game as those rumors have basically become widespread "knowledge" at that point. That same opinion applies to Marvel rumors, which is why I was personally fine with discussing Cox, Maguire, Garfield and so on. Hope that clears it up. -

It's from the most recent Jango Fett figure, hasn't appeared elsewhere iirc. -

Dude c'mon. I understand that it may not be crystal clear what can and can't be discussed but did you really have to write an actual spoiler into the question? I'm sure you are well aware that this is a fairly new rumor and not at all of the same nature as Ock and Electro, where the respective actors literally came out and said they'd be returning to the roles. -

A new and more accurate JP Raptor would definitely be much better than yet another T-Rex. -

If there's more I'd personally much rather get Agatha, considering Zemo and Walker are both much more likely to show up elsewhere sometime soon. -

That's not the argument though. The argument is that minifigures in the Marvel theme are generally underdetailed so any additional budget the theme may receive would be put to a much better use on the standard minifigs, allowing for a higher level of detail than we usually get. The same applies to the Potter sets, the anniversary figures don't take away budget from the standard figures but some people might still have preferred that additional budget to be used on the standard figures. -

Neat concept but considering Marvel is a theme that consistently gets underdetailed and/or inaccurate figures I will definitely be pissed if they waste a lot of budget on "special" anniversary figures. -

It's not directly next to the Bookstore but Stonewars did do some edits of the Bugle next to modular buildings: -

The AT wasn't just build roughly where the Metlife building is in real-life NYC, it's actually build on top of a partially deconstructed Metlife -

Depends on how long you're willing to wait. I had to wait ~1.5 year for it but in late 2020 I was finally able to get the 4 exclusive figures from the Jurassic Park D2C for roughly 45 euro (it's a lot but it used to be so much higher). -

He's not being rude at all, nor is he harassing anyone. Asking when Godzilla is going to show up in a Jurassic World set is basically the same as asking when Iron Man and Captain America will show up in a Star Wars set. Now this may very well be some sort of joke but if it isn't then this is a textbook example of a dumb question. -

The only set on the EOL list for 2021 is the Baryonyx set from 2019 so I'd expect this set to be on shelves until the Dominion sets come out, maybe longer. -

If "MAJOR FILM SPOILERS" is something you have to put in your comment talking about a yet-to-be-released film you should really ask yourself wether or not you should post it in the first place. I can only speak for myself but seeing people talk about these things and knowing full well that it's just a matter of time before someone slips up and drops a major spoiler without warning really annoys me. And I highly doubt I'm the only one.
