Overall the AC is pretty meh but I do love the new prints (train ticket, Leaky Cauldron sign, Privet Drive sign, squashed birthday cake and Platform 9 3/4). Figures are decent I guess.

40 euro for a crappy build with 2 meh figures and a great Captain Marvel is a really hard pass. I'll just get Carol off Bricklink.

My god the sets are all INCREDIBLE

The days of getting sets officially revealed 2 months before release seem to be over. Most June sets got revealed roughly a month before release and the Marvel sets got it as late as 2 weeks before release. But we'll see what happens, I'm not getting my hopes up.

Didn't see that but I highly doubt they'd list a theme like DOTS over a high-profile franchise like Jurassic. We'll see though.

Preordered the Bathroom and Hogsmeade sets, should be arriving on the 7th. Eventually want to get the Accessory Pack and Advent Calendar but not sure when. As for the rest of the sets: - Fluffy Encounter - just want Fluffy so Bricklink it is - Chamber of Secrets - not a fan of the build so I'll either wait until there's a really good discount or just get the stuff I want off Bricklink - Wizard's Chess - skip - Harry & Hermione - skip - Fawkes - skip, though I may Bricklink Dumbledore if he's cheap - First Flying Lesson - not sure yet. I could see myself buying it but all I really need from it are the stickersheet and Remembrall piece. - BrickHeadz - skip for both

Gotta be honest here, not a big fan of that Sanctuary set. The front part looks really off to me, the studshooters kinda ruin the overall look and the top wings feel too flat. I appreciate what they were trying to achieve here but I think the Sanctuary just doesn't work at this scale. As for figures: Captain Marvel looks great, Iron Man is kinda whatever as he's the same as the fig in the Final Battle set and I dislike Thanos just as much as the other minifig Thanos. I'll either get this set with a good discount or just BL her.

I think something along those lines would be a fairly safe expectation but it's not particularly accurate to Mitch and Tiff's boat. Though it's definitely very possible that this is just some made-up vehicle. Wouldn't look into that too much, it's way too soon for LEGO to do something with S3/S4. Especially considering neither of the first seasons have received sets yet. EDIT: oh wow, it's my 8000th post

The Chamber of Secrets set for example costs 150 euro here and discounted we can buy it for 120, which is roughly 145 USD and thus still more expensive than the US. Those really big discounts sound great on paper but are mostly there to "rectify" LEGO's awful conversions.

Annoyingly rare? Must be a regional thing then as it's pretty easy to get that piece for a good price on BL here.
