  1. Watch us get a Marvel version of the Hogwarts Icons Collection set instead
  2. @Xavhyr love seeing your versions of the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. team! You especially nailed Simmons' later-seasons look and giving her a piece of the Monolith is a great idea Can't wait to see your other AoS customs!
  3. Both of those are things we've never gotten before, or anything like it for that matter, so I'd easily prefer that over another Avengers Tower or Sanctum.
  4. An extremely limited selection of pieces like Gar Saxon's head or the Butterbeer/Polyjuice potion glass are available but the majority isn't.
  5. Knowing LEGO the focus of such a set would be on the Bat-vehicles and the actual cave would be condensed to a sidebuild
  6. The Daily Planet could work but as it's incredibly similar to the Bugle I don't see them doing that.
  7. The anniversary is nothing more than a dumb excuse to do more PS and CoS sets, they have nothing to celebrate. They keep trying to reel us in with "oh it's the 20th anniversary of the theme" but the truth is that LEGO Harry Potter was as dead as Lilly and James for like half of those 2 decades. At least Star Wars and Ninjago's anniversaries both celebrated a consecutive amount of years. Lilly.
  8. LEGO just wants to give kids a taste of the endless black void of depression that is adult life. /s
  9. They didn't necessarily have to use this box though. Could've just picked another one with more depth so the boxart doesn't look as empty
  10. A few of the hairpieces and heads are terrible but I'll accept it as they absolutely NAILED the costumes
  11. Love the boxart but Arishem's box is honestly terrible. It's so empty, why didn't they just use it vertically?
  12. The 18+ line and accompanying "Adults Welcome" marketing is honestly one of the biggest jokes in LEGO's entire history.
  13. Grandmaster uses George Weasley's legs from the 2nd Harry Potter CMF and Red Guardian uses the legs from the Monkey King CMF figure, albeit with unprinted hips and a bit of printing removed from the legs themselves.
  14. We talked about making such a thread in the past but no one has actually done it so far so I've made one myself Hope to see some of your customs in this thread soon!
  15. Hello everyone, This thread is a place to share any custom figures or modifications to existing figures from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I hope we can use this thread to inspire each other for years to come! Did you know the Star Wars and Harry Potter themes also have topics like this? You can check them out below! - Star Wars by @Kingslayer - Harry Potter by @Seaber Enjoy! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- We gotta start somewhere so here's a good chunk of the custom/modified figures from my collection, it's not everything but I hope you'll be able to take inspiration from some of these figures! I'll apologise in advance for the mediocre quality of some of the pictures Black Widow family L-R: Melina Vostokoff, Alexei Shostakov / Red Guardian, Yelena Belova, Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow Revengers L-R: Bruce Banner / Hulk, Brunnhilde / Valkyrie, Thor Wakandans L-R: Nakia, Shuri, T'Challa / Black Panther (kinetically powered up), T'Challa / Black Panther Fugitive Avengers L-R: Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow, Steve Rogers / Nomad, Bucky Barnes / White Wolf Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. L-R: Leopold Fitz, Jemma Simmons, Daisy Johnson / Quake, Phil Coulson, Melinda May, Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie, Bobbi Morse / Mockingbird Earth-bound villains L-R: Grant Ward, Johann Schmidt / Red Skull, Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier, Ulysses Klaue, Erik Killmonger, Antonia Dreykov / Taskmaster Spider-Man villains L-R: Hydro-Man, Quentin Beck / Mysterio, Adrian Toomes / Vulture Space-bound villains L-R: Ayesha, Yon-Rogg, Grandmaster, Hela Black Order L-R: Ebony Maw, Cull Obsidian, Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight Thanks for viewing and I hope to see some of your customs soon!
  16. We'll probably get that in the Jurassic World: Dominion sets next year, Claire's new haircut is fairly similar to the Year 1-2 Hermione piece.
  17. LEGO's Deviants actually appearing in the movie is great but I'm honestly much more impressed with the colorscheme being decently accurate
  18. That's true. Probably a very unpopular opinion here but I actually think that set is pretty mediocre. The figures are a mixed bag and the Compound build is just meh
  19. Compared to it's $90 pricetag in the US 100 euro in Europe feels pretty overpriced to me, 110 in the Netherlands even more so.
  20. The Allosaurus has a distinct headshape quite different from a T-Rex, a new mold for the head would suffice as exhibited by my good friend Lucca's artwork: Although getting a new medium-sized theropod body, which could then be repurposed for a ton of future species or remakes (like the Carnotaurus), as well would be much better:
  21. If Marvel isn't making any decision regarding Eternals' releasedate until they know how well Shang-Chi has performed it would most likely be far too late for big companies like LEGO to delay their planned releases again. Regardless of what happens to the releasedate of the movie I'm confident the sets will keep their current releasedate.
  22. I'd imagine they'll be revealed by Marvel when they do a big drop of Eternals merch reveals like they had for Shang-Chi and No Way Home.
  23. What would you guys think about a potential 2022 D2C being based on Fantastic Beasts? Like a $250 suitcase (interior, not the actual suitcase) from FB1 or the basement from Newt's apartment in CoG? I'm fully aware that these movies aren't exactly universally loved but I for one would adore a set like this. Just imagine the sheer amount of magical creatures we could get
  24. LEGO probably won't bother with him until he actually suits up as Black Knight.
