  1. It's 250 more than the old set so expect it to be at least twice as large. Aside from price there is nothing concrete we can say about it's contents. The bookshop is called Flourish and Blotts, Madam Rosmerta is the owner of the Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade
  2. I doubt that's ever gonna happen. They just gave us the MCU Taskmaster and if they wanted to give us a SE Taskmaster they would've done so in one of the Square Enix inspired sets.
  3. I didn't really take the themepark into consideration (seeing as they're not exactly accessible for me) but to my knowledge Hogsmeade isn't that big a thing in other sides of the world so I personally don't see a $400 Hogsmeade selling well globally. If you look at other $400+ sets they're things like the Falcon, ISD, Death Star, Hogwarts and now Diagon Alley. Those are all really iconic to their respective franchises so besides fans they'll be more likely to attract the general audiences. I could see a Hogsmeade set doing extremely well at $200 but 400 is pushing it (remember, $400 is a LOT of money to drop on a single set!). But that doesn't mean I don't want a Hogsmeade set because I definetely count myself as one of those people who would gladly drop $400 on such a set I just think a lower pricepoint is more likely.
  4. I actually think a Shrieking Shack remake is fairly likely, especially considering by the time they'll be able to do one (2022 and onwards) the PoA sets will be off shelves. Meaning besides having an exclusive Werewolf Lupin the SS would also be the only way (excluding Bricklink ofc) for fans who missed out to get their hands on characters like PoA Harry, Hermione, Ron and Sirius. In terms of size it's definetely possible but I personally wouldn't classify Hogsmeade in the category of things a lot of people would be willing to spend $400 on.
  5. You might want to take your own advice. If someone thinks a set is bad he or she will say that, that's an opinion. Just because what said person said is negative doesn't mean it's no longer an opinion. But I'm sick of 'discussing' this with you as I might as well be talking to a wall.
  6. The Helicarrier is getting trashed because it's poorly designed, simple as that. If it was actually well made and worthy of having the name 'Helicarrier' people would've praised it a lot more. As for TLB never saying anything except for the sets being bad, check again:
  7. Oof, that's something I hadn't even thought about. @BacktoBricks already pretty much summed up my thoughts on those boxes: they're dark, bleak, empty and most of all kinda depressing.
  8. Those dates we're listed on S@H for some time. Don't put any weight on it though, it looks like all US releases have been pushed back a while
  9. I don't know if you've noticed but everything, even the most beautifull thing in the world, has flaws worth pointing out. We don't hate stuff, we care about it enough to point out it's flaws.
  10. You're absolutely right, I should've probably counted the amount of possible sets before saying that But we're really getting ahead of ourselves, we haven't even seen all 2020 stuff
  11. That's amazing, great MOC!
  12. I honestly don't mind the helmet all that much, I like being able to flip up the faceplate on the ''old'' helmets but they always looked kinda off to me. It's a shame they don't have a separate faceplate but I do like the shaping of the Invincible IM helmet a lot more than the other one.
  13. I honestly don't think Harry Potter will get another D2C after DA. I feel like we'll get a ''fill-the-gaps'' year in 2022 and that'll be it, no more D2Cs or sets beyond that untill another reboot comes around. But if the theme does go on for longer I could see Hogsmeade getting a D2C. If Harry Potter does end in the coming years I just hope it'll get replaced by some other awesome rebooted theme like Middle Earth (LotR/Hobbit) or PotC
  14. ''You all''? I guess you haven't read the last sentence of my post properly And @THELEGOBATMAN does understand opinions, he just made it clear he personally doesn't understand how someone could like this set. But I guess reading is a very hard thing to do On another note, has anyone seen the MK2 leak? It's not the right helmet (that's Hotrod) but the printing for the torso and legs look really good
  15. That's exactly why a lot of people, including me, would prefer to get it as a standalone set instead of the D2C
  16. I know a lot of you still love the set but watching Just2Good's review on the Helicarrier really made me hate it even more. Here's why: - It's too small - The rotors stick out to much - The jail takes up a lot of space, doesn't look that good and doesn't function in-universe because it doesn't have a proper roof - Huge lack of interior space - Only enough space for 3 figures which are hard to get in - The big turret on the landing deck looks out of place - There is no place for an aircraft to properly land, which is one of the helicarrier's primary functions - There are too many stickers - Multicolored parts used for the mechanisms aren't covered up well - The playfeature doesn't make sense, it's an aircraft not a car with rotors - It's basically a flying rectangle - The radar dish has basically no movement whatsoever The figures and MODOK are great and although I could do without it the little aircraft isn't that horrible. The Helicarrier however has so many flaws I'm honestly surprised people like it. But opinions differ so if you're excited for this set I'm happy for you.
  17. Definetely, the white legs are too plain. Me and @Puresh tried to make her more accurate by using Queenie Goldstein's legs from the HP CMF and Wu's skirt (TLNM) backwards but it didn't end up looking all that great.
  18. It does indeed look great but we can't really see it all that well as it's only used as a background in a couple of photos
  19. You're completely right, it's a leak
  20. Screen accuracy has always been a bit of an issue with Owen, the only accurate figures we have are the 2015 and Bricktober versions. The 2019 fig should have a white-ish shirt, the 2020 figure doesn't exist and both 2018 figures don't have the right colors (the legs should be black and the shirt dark blue).
  21. Yup, a couple of weeks ago Depends on the set. If a set sells very poorly (like Queen Whatevra Wannabe's palace) discounts can go up to 50%, any higher rarely happens. With a D2C it usually takes a fairly long time for it to go on discount (not counting double VIP points) and the discounts usually aren't that high.
  22. The Bricktober figure of Owen appears in some of the flashbacks in FK and can also be seen during Jurassic World: The Ride at the Universal theme park. The new 2020 Owen doesn't appear anywhere and is just madeup by LEGO themselves, though the Kenner reference is very likely as @vstat05 stated. Although the colorings are a bit off (as they are on most Owen figures) the variant with the grey shirt from the T-Rex Mech comes from the scene in Jurassic World where Claire asks Owen to inspect the Indominus' paddock, the Claire figure from the same set is based on the end of FK. Hope this helps
  23. Welcome to the theme/thread! We already have a Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, it was in the Clocktower As for the Hogwarts interiors overall they've never really been that good in the reboot (at least not imo) and have left a lot to be desired so I already fully expected to get a disappointing interior in the AT, which actually didn't turn out to be that bad.
  24. There isn't really a pattern of which licensed themes get Duplo sets and which don't so we really don't know. But given LEGO's target audience for this theme is a little older than usual for licensed themes and the story gets pretty dark in some areas I would say the chances of HP Duplo sets are rather slim.
  25. They do, otherwise no American here would've ordered sets from there. Shipping depends on what you're paying for it but I would suggest counting on a longer shipping time with the current state of the world.
