  1. Helmet, Hulkbuster and Tower are now officially listed for august 1st on S@H in Europe
  2. Not all figures need leg printing or dualmolded legs but a ton of them that do desperately need them just don't get them (not just within this theme)
  3. I personally think they should've gone for a moulded head but I get why they didn't. Just doing a new headpiece and using a minifigure face allows them to do more goblins in future sets (like Diagon Alley or Gringotts Escape). The end result does still look good though so it's not really something I feel the need to complain about.
  4. Or Falconfan is secretely a timetraveler and he's talking about He Who Has Not Yet Appeared
  5. I absolutely agree, those buildable bigfigs aren't even supposed to be 100% true upscaled minifigs anyway. With the Ant-Man one for example it's possible to angle the hands, something minifigs can't do. It's just all about accuracy and playability. If there's anything worth complaining about it's the backside and the technic holes on the side of his legs.
  6. Nobody here is referencing 'common assumptions', we're referencing rumors dating back to before Kingnono started his whole thing. And of course we're not discussing facts here, nothing that hasn't been officially announced or confirmed by LEGO themselves is a fact. That's the whole reason why this thread is called 'Harry Potter 2020 - Rumors & Discussion'. If you want facts you should just sit back and wait for LEGO's announcements. If anyone's interested: @just2good just uploaded a video showing off LEGO's official Hogwarts setup
  7. You're probably right, that Borgin and Burkes info was oddly specific
  8. I really don't see that happening. It's just my opinion but I personally wouldn't be interested at all in a $400 Gringotts, nor would I be interested in DA modular sets if the most iconic building in the collection costs a whopping $400 (not to mention every building would have to be at least $200 to be at the same scale as a $400 Gringotts). It's not really a smart business strategy imo.
  9. Why are you calling them 'obligatory'? The amount of Marvel sets without fire extinguishers signficantly outweigh the number of sets that do include them
  10. 'High-quality' kinda triggers me, LEGO's quality certainly isn't what it used to be (in terms of durability, printing etc.). That's my main problem with the slow increases in pricing, the prices are going up but quality is staying behind / decreasing slightly
  11. That's always been the case though, nothing new about that
  12. There are tons of things they could do when it comes to D2C, the main question is if it would sell well as a $400 set. If Hogwarts is off-limits Diagon Alley really is the only thing I can see becoming a $400 set that sells well. Sure Hogsmeade Village (for example) would be a cool D2C to have but I really don't see that selling well at $400, same situation for your Quidditch Pitch proposal.
  13. It is indeed a very good set but I think the main reason most people aren't interested in it is because it just doesn't fit with anything else from the theme. At least that's my personal reason for not getting the set
  14. That was a $100 set so it'd have to be 3-4 times as large as that set
  15. The largest train set we have is the Disney Train and Station but far more parts went into the station than the train
  16. Didn't know that but damn that's expensive
  17. I can only speak for myself but if they release that I would happily keep that hard earned money in my wallet
  18. I only put on stickers when they are absolutely necessary or when they're not but I personally like them so I didn't put on the fireplace sticker, the board was pretty easy to put on imo. Just use a seperator and attach a bit of the sticker to it, really helps navigating through that tight space and if you're not happy with it you can get it off fairly easily
  19. Nope, only the US prices (excluding the Death Star duel and I-TS Transport)
  20. That's the release for the Tower, Hulkbuster and Helmet in the US. Falconfan already said it on the previous page
  21. You're glossing over some important stuff here. We have had multiple sources reporting on a Diagon Alley D2C, last year we knew a Jurassic D2C was coming but we didn't know what it was. We didn't get any hints or leaks whatsoever (except for some figures) so everyone just assumed it would be the OG Visitor Center as it was the most likely option. This time we do have info on what the D2C is so this situation certainly won't be repeated in this specific scenario.
  22. I received (and build) the RoR, Forbidden Forest and Astronomy Tower yesterday. The build of the RoR is a lot better than I initially expected and the tree in the FF set is pretty good. I'll definetely have to fix the back of Grawp (probably taking some inspiration from Micmac) but overall he looks good. The Astronomy Tower is fantastic, though I'll have to add another layer to the AT itself as it doesn't really stand out next to the other structures in my Hogwarts display. I really don't understand why they used those green pieces on the roofs though, it doesn't look bad on it's own but it's really inconistent with the other sets and that bothers me.
  23. There's a seperate thread for speculation/discussion on future sets
